I really like the concept of this game, It's just a bit complicated to play, I didn't manage to finish the tutorial, When I played a standard game it was fun tho. Maybe you could let the player choose the random mutations, there could be different strategies depending on the mutations you choose.

@ghost-wave Yep, we definitely overscoped this time, especially after a rather long break from programming. Turns out AI is hard and making watching blobs fight fun is even harder lol. Glad you enjoyed it a bit nonetheless! And regarding the mutations: We debated that option but that ultimately felt too plannable and not unstable enough.
Cool game! You got the basic ideas down really well here, I would love to see it expanded upon further! I think a clearer indication of mutations for each virus would be cool to see, and I think that a lot could be gained with the creation of a few more map types! Thanks for submitting!
I can see how the concept works, however, the player troop's spawn rate was kinda too high to the point where the beginning stage it's almost a guarentee to win. But yea! A decent submission with an aspect of the theme incorporated into the game! well done!
Definitely an interesting idea, having your viruses mutate and fight other mutated viruses. It wasn't always clear what lead to what mutation and why. Also a lot of the time i could just win the level by not doing anything.
