Thanks for the story!

sprunth 2021-10-04 22:41

Love the artwork

anstabo 2021-10-05 03:33

The drawing transitions/animations were breath-taking.

mateu 2021-10-05 03:35

I came for the artwork and was not disappointed. It's really good. The game could maybe have some more stuff to do, but that's not too big of a deal. Nice little story you got here

squigglez 2021-10-05 03:37

the art was gorgeous!

frozedon 2021-10-05 03:39

Funny puns and entertaining story

memoryfloater 2021-10-05 18:12

That plot twist when the stable finally became stable and it turns out its just a painting and the real un-stable is your state of mind. 10/10 genious.

skullsprigs 2021-10-05 21:57

great artwork!! the story was a bit confusing, though.

pashaloban 2021-10-06 09:58

Cool game

@sunderbird @sprunth @anstabo @squigglez @pashaloban We're so happy that you enjoyed our game! @mateu Thank you so much for your feedback! We actually designed quite a few puzzles but sadly we were running out of time. We'll improve our time management next time! @frozedon @memoryfloater We're so happy that you enjoyed the puns and the plot twists! @skullsprigs Thank you for your feedback! We tried to use puns to interprete our understanding of stable and unstable. Yet maybe it causes confusing. We'll improve our narrative skill next time!

ribout-horace 2021-10-06 10:47

That was a twitsted story but really fun ! (remind me of cube escape but made in less time xD)

deav 2021-10-06 11:31

That was... unstable

I like how abstract the story is, artwork is good and it fits this kind of game (point'n'click) very well! My only issue was that the player is instantly getting thrown into a 20s timer with no clue what to do, and the intro is not skippable so I had to replay it like 3 times before getting it right :) Overall a solid game, definitely different that most of the ones I've seen during this jam.

brielley 2021-10-06 13:12

@ribout-horace We're happy that you enjoyed our game. And yea, we're all big fans of cube escape and this game was quite inspired by it! @deav So happy that you enjoyed our abstract metaphors and art style. And thank you so much for your feedback. I'll add a skip button in the intro so that people won't be forced to see it again and again after entering the bad ending. :)

Nice story and art. Really good experience playing it

brielley 2021-10-06 16:54

@cabjhegas Thank you. We're happy you enjoyed it.

Пока что лучшая игра из всех, которые я играл на LD. Рассказать в таком сжатом виде целую историю - это надо уметь.

Спасибо за игру.

sleepystudios 2021-10-12 22:15

This game really oozes style. I loved all the quick cutscenes and the hand-drawn look. I especially loved the music, it fit the aesthetic really well. My one criticism would be that I'd like more feedback with the point-and-click interactions, like when you're adding the bricks to stabilise the hay. Well done!

brielley 2021-10-13 03:51

@xpoho Thank you so much for your high praise! Yea, I totally agree with you that "telling a whole story in a condensed form is something you need to be able to do"(I use a machine translator, hope it's correct). I personally always wanna tell stories as brief as it can be (so I name myself Brie xD), but I always failed. Actually, in this game, I still didn't manage to tell the story in the very limited lines, but the artists I worked with are extremely talent, they used musics and arts to tell the stories I failed to tell using words.

brielley 2021-10-13 03:53

@sleepystudios Glad you enjoyed the game and thank you so much for your feedback. Yea, the interactions' feedback is not quite intuitive at the moment. We actually designed a visible inventory in which people can interact with each item they collected, but sadly we were running out of time to make it.

Great game ! I'm not sure I understood everything but the end was really touching! Well done!
