Animations and sound effects are great jeje. Music was also good. Liked how you can try an stealth approach or go kamikaze to try to break through some areas.
Found the gameplay to be quite engaging! I had to stay focused to balance my stamina meter and speed past the cowboys. Really adorable animations. Found the other horses to be quite frustrating when I stuck to them. Overall great work :)
I thought this was a fun game :). I like the fact that the mechanics are flexible enough to allow for an escape from the cowboys even when your speed gauge is exhausted, if you react quickly enough. Music fit the concept nicely. Overall, I enjoyed it :)
Craziest music:) Had fun saving my Equine-Friends to start my own cult in greener pastures! NICE GAME & GOOD LUCK <3
I gave you my feedback during the stream earlier, but I just wanted to say again how impressed I am by this compo entry. My only regret is that I was unable to finish my all-murder run.
The art and animations are really cute. Excellent job on making this for the Competition!
Un-Stable is just a genius way to take the theme! hahaha. Very clever! The art is really nice! Also like the game fell a lot!
Simple but fun game! I escaped my way to greener pastures successfully.
Fun little game. Really like the use of strategy on how to escape.
Fun and engaging game :D Some good gameplay mechanics, and I liked your home recorded riding sounds.
It's a bit difficult, but also really funny. I love the music, voices and the visual style. Overall a pretty good compo game. Well done.
"omg I can kill the cowboy?!" I love the movement mechanics, I thought it would be just another horse pun game, but it fits the theme very well, good job!
The fact that i can kill cowboy is just so sweet :3 Maybe the potentials of mechanics are not used as fully as possible, but for compto they are pretty good. Nice work, have fun earning my own freedom, not to mention outstanding music!
I really like then music, it fit well with the theme of the game. Interesting take on the LD theme. Nice job!
I like a game with good resource management mechanics, and the stamina bar hit that pretty well. I do wish the turning speed was a bit faster, but other than that, solid game!
The invisible map border near the end got me the first time, unexpectedly :(. I thought I was running to greener pastures! It took me quite a few tries before I realized I could disable the cowboys, and then I turtled my way to victory on the next run =). Neat game, good balance between speeds and energy usage.
I like the mood with the music, sfx and the gameplay has surprising depth. Mechanically the leash/stop ranges on the enemies are great. Their roping mechanic feels right and managing your stamina resource feels like it's your fault if you run out.
The stealth mechanics and interplay between simply walking and avoiding other horses is great. I didn't expect that much depth at first but it does give you interesting choices with your speed. Walking is pretty dominate though since you can touch them as a nice animal. Cool system. I also like the menu with the full speed getting extra attention graphically/sfx.
Having another npc charge a cowboy to teach you about that trample mechanic might be good or maybe a section that forces you/them into one? I might have not figured it out if it didn't happen on accident.
The font choices/ui and menu art consistency needs some work. I think the gallop settings could be the example/template for the rest of it since you polished that off so nicely. I guess you just ran out of time there.
Anyhow fun one. Good job :D
