Make Me Rich by jk5000 2021-10-05T13:15:40Z

I liked the idea of the investments, well made!

The game could have used a little animation when you go to next player/turn. It took me some turn to understand that. Some feedback when clicking on buying and selling would have been cool for immersion.

Also, maybe change the color of the buildings when one player have it so we know which player is trying to buy stuff around us.

Hexworld by icxon 2021-10-05T12:57:27Z

I don't know if there's more than 3 levels but I got stuck in the 3th one! I liked the art style and the concept.

Where's a screen of the bug [hexworld bug.PNG](///raw/ac6/9/z/46f87.png)

Edit: The image doesn't seems to be displayed so I've put the image on imgur: https://imgur.com/a/cNHfZz3

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T12:59:31Z

@osh-studio I'll try to improve player controller for the next game I make, thanks for the feedback!

@souptik-datta I understand. I didn't manage to get a text hover the time resetter and the drop point so I had to drop the idea and put an image in the title screen. And the placement wasn't the best either but I wanted to orient the player to let them go head's on the gathering

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T13:25:06Z

@ucsbdad It was kind off the first movement script I did by following tutorials and trying to adapt to my needs. For sure it's something I would improve in the next games. I though about unlocking part by clicking on some levers but I didn't got the time to do it.

It's kind of my bad because I didn't think about it, but there's a little module beside the ship that allow you to reset the timer when you click on it so you don't have to loop all the time, might be easier by using that. Feel free to try it again!

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T14:30:42Z

@ucsbdad thanks a lot! I'm not sure if I will upload games or prototype yet, maybe for the next game jam!

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T18:14:32Z

@sploky I didn't had enough time to implement way of unlocking places and stuff, but it's something I'll look in the future. I had a feeling that 30 cubes were a lot but I decided to stick with it because 20 seemed to be not enough.

@kutaryoushinkoku Glad you enjoyed it, I hope that you manage to get all the cubes!

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T19:07:12Z

@ildfuglen I was using cursor.locked parameter in Unity, but pressing escape and click on resume it should fix the issue. Anyway glad you enjoy gathering the cube!

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T19:59:16Z

@blacksheepza Thanks for the feedback, the game can be used for speedrunning, maybe in a V2 with better controls or something. I wanted to switch the cursor in the middle between white and black color to give the feedback about when you are in front of something that you can interact with but didn't got the chance to implement it :slight_frown: it's on my todo list for future projet though!

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-05T00:59:39Z

@federico-giorgi duly noted for my next games will look into improving in those points

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-05T11:37:17Z

@pinkemma Glad that you appreciate the game and thanks you for the feedback. I agreed that a sound when reseting would have been helping a lot.

@floppadev I need to check about this issue, thank you for playing

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-05T22:21:15Z

@djtequila I must say, I've used an asset available at Kenney's website (look in the description) so I just placed the items around.

I'm glad you enjoyed the exploration and I agreed that it would have boosted the game if I implemented the game mechanics you listed above but the lack of time and knowledge didn't help. Most of what I did was first time

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-06T20:36:02Z

@erlioniel the goal was mainly to force the player to increase the timer by bringing more cubes in and allowing them to explore further.

I've see a lot of comments about the controls and I've already prepared some fixes for a post-jam version more stable, easier to play and more options about camera sensitivity and player controls.

It's kind of the first time I activly do player controls and I'll look to do something more polish and user friendly for future projects.

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-08T04:20:39Z

@morcado I tweeked the sensitivity already for the post-jam version in two weeks. And you can jump only when you are on the ground in order to prevent players to go outside the world

Thank you for playing

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-08T04:31:20Z

@bak ahah you know it's only cubes, nobody will see that there not there anymore :smirk:

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-08T12:15:40Z

@edevjogos thank you for the feedback. I must say repetitiveness is one of my flaw, it's something that I have to work on. Instead of making them angry at you and chase you, I would something like a trade, item A for item B.

I've already added a sound for the time reset when you press the button, but I rather send the new version in post-jam, I don't want to mess up my entry ahah

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-18T13:17:14Z

@jeff-kerman thanks for the feedback, did you click on "loop" by anychance? Because when you click on "loop" you keep your current score and cube gatthered. There is a secret cube, but I think it was a bad idea since it prevent players to finish the game if they don't observe enough.

And yeah, the "tutorial" part was not worked enough since a lot of people got issues with the time resetter.

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-21T14:56:52Z

@quanperfect It was the first time I did a player controller so yeah it was very harsh and weird to move around. And yeah, I did the jump sound myself, glad that you enjoyed it!

Dominion by Shootboots 2021-10-04T19:19:21Z

I enjoyed playing it, I've seen that gameplay before and never imagined that it could be done en less than 48 yours!

I wasn't able to move somewhere else than in the production line. I just made sure to have a lot of blob before sending it blindly to the opponent!

Earthquake City Builder by JM Studio 2021-10-04T18:10:11Z

This game was fun, I took the time to play it and get all upgrades and have placed almost every buildings.

Then I wanted to break the game: -You can click several times on the "next month" button so it could run several earthquakes at the same time. -When I want to destroy a building it was destorying the one in the middle? (maybe an issue with the selection) -The health bar goes on top of the buildings so it was hard to see the amount to repair sometimes.

Among Monolyths by Dekajoo 2021-10-04T12:07:32Z

I loved playing it, good headscratcher! Nice job guy!

I recommend it to my friends and one of them told me it was hard to see the colors for some puzzles so he can't finish it.

An oddly SATISFYING game by Duck Reaction 2021-10-04T17:24:41Z

I liked the game, the levels were pretty easy (understandable because of the game jam) but I could play a longer version!

404 on the link to the game

Totally Stable Alchemy by KutaryouShinkoku 2021-10-04T17:25:19Z

I got it! Let's try it out!

Totally Stable Alchemy by KutaryouShinkoku 2021-10-04T17:39:42Z

The game is hard on many points: No tutorials or explaination of the combinaisons, all available at the begging. I'm not sure if I can gather more than 3 items at the same time. No way to retry/reset the game, so the only way to restart is to alt+f4 and open the game again.

I like the music and the graphics Didn't knew I could double jump, that's nice!

I don't know if there's a way to add at least a retry button when we lose/die and a button to close the game but it would help a lot!

AFTER SUN by rufson 2021-10-05T19:32:18Z

I wasn't exactly sure how to navigate around the planet so it took me a little bit of time before getting used to it. But I managed to save 185 people (some people don't like fire, idk why :weary:) ahah I loved the pixel art, the way that the planet is made is interesting.

I didn't try my luck landing on the platforms but I just did a 180 after entering a planet and landit, not sure that the little guys in the ship liked to G-force applied :joy:

Last Bargain by Erlioniel 2021-10-05T13:49:18Z

I loved the graphics!

The controls are a bit too hard for me, I didn't saw any way to completely stop myself (maybe it play on the "unstable" part? and I understood it only when writing, but anyway)

Not sure if it's intended but an indicator/mini-map to guide you through the maze.

If there was a level selection or something that allow you to learn the controls and get introduced to the other blocks that would have make your game even better!

Stable Inc. by CorbenG 2021-10-04T15:59:10Z

Love playing that game, I needed to reread the instructions sometimes just to make sure I didn't mess anything, the sounds gives a great emergency feeling

A Hard Pill to Swallow by osh.studio 2021-10-04T12:48:34Z

The game was fun, quite hard. If I can recommend something, add an indicator for the strenght of the last throw so you can adjust the shot :) I managed to finish it in 78 shots ahah!

Unistable by ThaCuber 2021-10-04T12:19:25Z

The idea wasn't bad, good way to think with the theme. But I wasn't able to move forward in the game, too hard for me

Unstable connection by redsti 2021-10-05T14:03:12Z

Some puzzle where way easier than the previous ones, pictograms would have been easier to tackle than a long sentence or something like "square need 2 circles to move" something short. I endend up just moving around randomly and I got through 3 puzzles (like level 9, I just moved 2 pieces and that's it, did read the instructions at all.

Going back to the title screen game me a feeling that I lost even if I manage to stabilise the connection, going back to the level selection or "go to next level" would have been cool

Un-Stabled by hammerfrenzy 2021-10-04T12:35:18Z

The audio is cool! I wasn't sure of what to do, make them go in groups, bring them back in, calm them down? Mabe play a sound when the go back in with a +1 beside the stable, idk. Worth trying though!

The Leaning Tower Of Pizza by erikengineengineer 2021-10-04T12:25:02Z

Big fan of the word play  I manage to get 45222 on the first try! I'll would replay to try getting a better score!

Unstable platformer thing by FloppaDev 2021-10-04T20:05:25Z

The game was fun and worth the try, the controls are hard and I was confused when I jumped beside a wall and barely go up. Nice thing that we have respawn points, some of the games didn't had that.

I manage to get to level 3, I'll retry later

Hold on, Garry! by Wamien 2024-10-09T15:42:38Z

We have also seen that bug, we were not able to fix that before the time limits. We instend to add some missing features and bug fixes, thanks for the review @kakka22 !

Cell la vie! by picttarge 2024-10-08T02:36:33Z

It was a bit complicated first, but after 2 attempts, I managed to survive a bit longer! Good idea with the repair and decoy mecanics!
