Really love the art style. Game looks incredible and the audio is great too! I thought I hit a bug when pressing 'A'. Not a lot of feedback, sound or anim to tell me I had pressed it correctly. Found the controls a bit difficult to wrap my head around too. Good luck!

Superb. Overall the presentation is excellent elevated by the audio in general. Gunplay feels satisfying. Really like the use of lighting which ads to the mood and atmosphere. I would maybe add a small lighting/glow around the platforms I can jump on/jump down to so I can see them better. There's also quite a lot of dialogue to get through but that's just my personal pref. Like it. Jumping feels pretty smooth, like the environment and atmosphere. Nice tutorial section and transitions. Personally I find shoot hard to use on ctrl while jumping. Good luck!

Very cool idea and nice presentation, that is initially a challenge to figure out. The tutorial didn't tell me much about killing the bad guy. Also, not sure why I was not getting any points after killing the bad guy? Lots of potential here. Please rate my game if you can! Good luck!

Great effort for your 1st jam! I like the detail in the player sprite and environments. Music's cool too. I was in the same boat 5 months ago. The difference between my games from LD46 and this jam (https://ldjam.com/users/sherwin-claridge/games) is night and day. I started with the basics of 2D platforming and kept learning from there. Check out Cinemachine for the camera too. Good luck!

Neat little idea. Needs some 'juice' - screenshake, vfx etc. Could even have the loop/circle area move dynamically around the map to incentivise movement. Good luck!

I would say I want a target icon for the cursor and some feedback when I shoot the enemy vehicles (sparks or smoke or something).

I've started working on a 2.0 version. Probably release it free on itch.io soonTM.

Adding a 'compass' to help locate objectives & resources (WIP).

Multiple Harvesters are now purchasable (max count of 3 TBC).

Harvesters now have a health bar & resource bar. They now dock with the mothership to deposit resources.

Player can now issue commands to Harvesters (recall, harvest, dock).

Players can now choose which weapons to install at any of the slots.

Adding New Weapon types & multiple upgrades per weapon.

More changes & bug fixes coming too. TBC.

Update includes:

Players can now choose which weapon to install at any install point on Mothership.

Mothership weapons now have health and can be destroyed individually.

Expanded upgrade options per weapon.

Weapons can also be installed via the Quick Access UI.

Destroyed weapons lose all upgrades.

Two Super Weapon options added.

Expanded enemy roster to include Elite, Drone Gunner, Frigate and more.

Enemies can now spawn in via a portal.

Added a Scanner to help locate objectives, resources & objectives.
