This is really, really good! The art is gorgeous (what a beautiful palette, too), and the movement and jump are really satisfying. I found the red spiky enemies in the first area a bit frustrating, though, since they seem to be able to pass through the scenery and hide in the background. :)
Overall so, so good, though! Amazing amount of content for an LD game too. Haven't made it all the way through yet, I'm stuck a few screens into the third area. :D Great work!

Love the art side of the game!
Beautiful game, one my favorites in the jam so far! The art style simple, but fantastic and the music fits really well. Challenging gameplay, but managed to make to the end. Great job overall! :)

It's very calm and relaxing game. I love visuals, sounds. The controls work very well, but I wonder, why jump is on 'Z' key?
Also, that restarting on death takes quite a long time (in my opinion) and it's a little bit annoying. Also enemies can hide behind the walls, when they go through them. It seems for me, that it would be better if they would always be on foreground
Anyway, amazing game, I really enjoyed.

I like how it was so calm yet also spooky at times! Beautiful graphics and a fun challenge.
Nice little platformer. Controls are neat, no frustration coming from this part (thanks to the jump forgiveness). Colors are beautiful, and the graphic style definitely made me think of a mix between "The floor is jelly" (that one a lot) and "Limbo" for the deepest part, with the black and white pallet and the spider legs. Don't know if it was down purposely. The progressive addition of gameplay mechanics was well done, even if I would have appreciate one or two more tricky screens. Overall well done, thank you!
Simple, yet gloomy and relaxing game. I eventually made it to the end. The jumping control was beast, feels so satisfying for me to go past level by level (there are surprisingly whole lots of them too! And not too easy, but not too frustrating). Overall, I felt like this game deserves any praise possible. Temp.png

I liked the style, and the little story behind it. Only problem is the difficulty, I found my self stuck at the first two levels for way too long compared to the rest of the game, however with some fine tuning I could see this becoming a nice post-ld game. :smile:
Mood/Art/Music are all great, those red spikes are tough though! :P

Well done! Love this graphics and level design.
@smeljey Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the feedback! I don't know why, but I find the Z button easier to jump with than with a Space.
@otresnjak I see, had to rush through some levels so the difficulty ended up as it is. Thank you for the feedback!
@gaming-night thank YOU!
@valeth2124 Thank you so much!
@cz46 Thank you! I appreciate the feedback!
@bigbadbison Thank you!

Amazing art, colors fits so good together. Great palette. With red spikes was a bit intense, with a lot of blood :)
@hexa3 Thank you!

Cute little game. I really enjoyed the controls. Only thing I didn't quite enjoy was that the spiky flying things could go through walls. Great game.
Really liked this mood/tone and simple art direction. The character feels responsive to control. Jump on space bar would be great too. Well done
The game was a bit hard and it took me a while to get the feel of the controls. but the art style is great and the color palette was good too! Good job!
A really cool experience, nice blend of gameplay, narration and mood, a charming entry well done!
The colors definitely help set the mood

Level design and art style is pretty cool, well done:)
Nice Tight platformer controls, great visuals and sound track. Really impressive this was made over a weekend. You should definetley expand on this and make it into a full game. Wonderful job!
@neonian @frostfall Thank you a lot!

That. Was. Amazing. I can't believe you managed to do this in only two days! If I saw this game on Steam I would defo buy it to be honest. It is fun, cosy, balanced and the level design is really neat. Epic job!
@ansick Aww. Thank you!

Fought my fears and I suppose I won. It was a pleasure. It looks wonderful, and I agree that it's not too easy and not too frustrating. It's perfect.
@timewarp Thank you!
Really nice artwork
wow! This surpirsed me. One of the few entries I played to the very end. Had wished there'd be at least a small text or menu or anything to confirm to me that I was at the end. But really atmospheric, juicy, responsive controls. I liked the one live per screen principle (kind of inspired from super meat boy, wasn't it?) and the minecrafty music. No bugs, no gameplay issues just a simple funny puzzle platformer. But SO MANY components! How did you manage to get that all done in one weekend. Seriously one of my favourite entry so far. Especially the controlls were fine tuned to the last milimeter of a jump.
@johannimations Thanks a lot for your kind words :) I was surprised myself from how much I've done. Had little to no sleep and worked until the last 10 minutes :D

Just amazing :heart: Love the art style, the music and the level design! The controls need some getting used to, but overall this game is AWESOME :heart:

@molpe Thank you so much! It's the first time someone played my game on a video. It's great btw :D
I love the level design you made in the game. It feels polished. In my opinion, it would be better to make character move slower. Nice work.

The death sound and animation are hilarious. The art style is great. I am not a huge fan of the movement mechanics however. Good entry overall nevertheless!
I loved this!! Was definitely tough (although I am pretty bad at platformers lol) but super satisfying to get through the levels, and I made it to the end! The art is gorgeous, feels like something I would see in an actual commercial game, and the different styles of each stage were awesome and a really nice touch! Also liked the beautiful tranquil music, helped calm my seething rage and hatred for the red spiky boys haha. Super nice job!! :)
@feralpoodles Thank you for playing! Whoops, sorry about the spikes :D

Cool game, I like the graphics and sound, I would like to separately note the touching voice acting of the main character :D
Defeintely the weirdest movement mechanics I have experienced in a while. But yeah the game is cool xD It's beatiful that it has a story.

This is very very very good!
It's quite hard to do a platformer that feels good, and this game does it very well. Nothing very original, but everything is very well executed: gameplay feel, variety in the level design, balance, music, sounds, visuals.
Thanks for the game I had fun!
Five stars for mood! Really good game! I loved the graphics and how all the simplistic shapes were layered with the nice gradients. The blood splats were really cool too. Your audio was fantastic yet quiet and I really liked how peaceful it made the whole game. I played it right through to what I assume was the end (the sunny scene with the house and no exits). I enjoyed my experience and hope you enjoyed developing it. One thing I felt could be polished more is the movement. Maybe it could feel a bit smoother (some ac/deceleration perhaps) and the collisions could be more accurate (you can cling to the sides of some blocks, although this saved my life once). But overall this is a really good game in all aspects! Fantastic entry!
