Interesting gameplay. The "multi-path aspect" is great!

Neat game! Good work! Really like the simplistic art style!

Good level design

imphenzia 2018-12-05 09:53

I like the built in tutorial, the level design/progression, and the different jump techniques that were introduced. Well done, especially with this being your first jam! See you at LD44 :)

@imphenzia Thank you it means a lot! Thanks to all of you actually! We hope to see you next LD too!

Your game was played on my stream ( twitch.tv/ursagames ) for the second day of Ludum Dare streams - you can find the timestamp of your game here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8

Even though the art style was blending in my eyes it still was a good experience. Loved the upgrades and how you can use them to take a different path. And the controls were good and responsive too except for their layout but they worked

Made it to the end!

I really liked the power-ups in the game and how you built some of the levels anticipating that the player may not actually having one of the required power-ups therefore giving them a different route. The controls were well done. I would say that the game could have done with some polish, some of the hitboxes are a bit too large and there's a pretty nasty blind jump in the second level (the one that requires the double-jump) I died a few times on that part.

Otherwise I quite enjoyed playing the game, the ambient noises fit perfectly with the music and the difficulty scaled pretty well. Thanks for making :)

I really liked the mechanics, level design also good graphics. overall a really good game!

Certainly an engaging game with a "one more go" aspect to it, I found myself crying in frustration when I miss timed a jump, but it's a mark of a good game that it's able to evoke such engagement. An escape menu and the ability to mute would have made for a slightly easier user experience, something you'll definitely need to consider for the next Jam! :)

Nice feeling of the jump and we all know that is not that easy.

Good mastery of the pacing and onboarding. I quited though because there was no checkpoint and it's sooo frustrating to play again everything from the beginning.

itsjustjord 2018-12-07 20:32

I liked it but the graphics were a bit "meh" in my opinion :)

krx271 2018-12-07 22:49

Nice game on the horizon, good idea, graphics :D Look at our game, greetings :D

masterzenith 2018-12-10 01:25

Not sure what this has to do with sacrifice.

Other than that, pretty decent!

raitozan 2018-12-11 13:15

@masterzenith our gameplay is based on sacrifice, you sacrifice your life/energy to use your abilities, and you've to sacrifice an ability to take a new one ;)

thx all for your reviews ! :D
