You should definitely go ahead and finish it! It's a cool idea!

kendja 2012-04-25 07:31

Cool screenshot, but unfortunately i don't have OS/X device. Some video would be nice.

shigor 2012-04-27 12:43

at least put up gameplay video on youtube, you won't get much rates otherwise (I proudly admit I'm just to lazy to go search for my mac in a pile of unholy mess that accumulated near my table...)

evilseanbot 2012-04-28 05:15

It looks adorable! Sad that you don't make a windows version.

dainvadda 2012-04-28 12:29

Thanks a lot for your comments. We managed to port the game to Windows today. But keep in mind that the Windows version is untested. Please let us know if you run into any problems.
We will also try to record a video during the weekend for those of you still unable to run the game.

triplevisiongames 2012-04-29 11:27

Had a quick go in Windows version and it works for me, having fun with it I think you should finish it!!

ddrkirbyisq 2012-04-29 12:13

Windows version popped up a black window and the console printed out numerous GL_INVALID_OPERATION errors. Sorry! Also, I'd recommend against using a 1280x768 window; not all of us have fancy 1600x1200 screens ;)

xpoint 2012-04-29 12:17

I have the same problem as DDRKirby. To bad, sounded like a fun game!

angrygeometry 2012-04-29 13:15

same problem as the others i'm afraid! sorry!

paulsb 2012-04-29 13:22

Exactly what the others said on the Windows version: "buffer.h:129 GL_INVALID_OPERATION - glVertexAttribPointer"

rhy3756547 2012-04-29 14:16

Lovely graphics and sounds, not much in the way of puzzle solving though. Nice work, even if it is unfinished. Worked for me on an Nvidia GTX 260 with windows 7.

nefariouszhen 2012-04-29 15:29

Doesn't seem to work in os/x 10.7.3 (post-contest neither)

thomcc 2012-04-29 15:43

Works for me on osx 10.7.3

Neat game, nice setting of mood. Enjoyed the graphics and sound, and the small puzzles.

Definitely you could have something great if you keep working at this

emongev 2012-04-29 21:28

GL_Invalid_Operation on Win 7 64

levelbylevel 2012-04-29 22:34

Fun little game :) Kinda reminds me of Day of the Tentacle with all the time-travelling stuff.

dainvadda 2012-04-29 23:00

Thanks again for your comments. I just uploaded a new Windows version that could eventually fix the GL_INVALID_OPERATION bug some of you encounter. Thanks for Playing!

mneubrand 2012-04-30 00:25

Love the art style and time travel idea. Couldn't figure out what to do after I recharged the drill and fixed the panel in the future.

gunmonkey 2012-04-30 00:59

I really liked this game !

someone 2012-05-01 15:01

The windows version runs in wine, but unfortunately at about 1000fps and the character moves to fast it is almost impossible to go where you want.

julianspillane 2012-05-01 15:05

Worked fine for me on my Windows XP machine. I love your visual aesthetic and the time travel mechanic for puzzle solving. I'd love for you to continue this past the jam. :)

dainvadda 2012-05-01 15:36

@someone Thanks for trying. I just uploaded a new version that should fix your problem.

ace 2012-05-01 15:57

The graphics were nice and it has good music/sounds, the puzzles feel slightly lacking in some way though.
Also, is the player really supposed to look that retarded?

demonpants 2012-05-01 17:59

Pretty good start, but there doesn't seem to be much to do. I put a battery into a compartment and walked around with a little gun, time traveled for no apparent reason, and then that appeared to be the limit to what I could do. I also discovered some strange bug where I took the battery out again in the future and couldn't replace it, then tried setting it on a shelf and it disappeared.

pixel_3 2012-05-01 20:44

I'm not a linux user myself, but does this run on wine, or would it be possible to port it to linux?

mach60kas 2012-05-01 20:50

Great proof-of-concept here, it would be great to see this expanded upon for a future release!

dainvadda 2012-05-01 20:59

@PIXEL^3: The user @someone, some comments above, seemed to have tried it out on wine. It seems to work (kind of). ;)
We are using open libraries only (OpenGL, OpenAL, libpng,...). I think it would be no problem to port to linux. But I do nat have a working linux machine at the moment,

josefnpat 2012-05-01 22:09

I was able to run it via wine under linux. I was able to age the flower multiple times, and then fix the compartment with the charged drill. I don't know what to do with the hole in the wall, or the spider :(

shifty 2012-05-01 22:38

really good looking and ambitious to make an adventure game ! I did not finish it because I couldn't find the answer to the enigmas but still good work :)

ratking 2012-05-02 20:58

OK, the idea is nice, the main char really looks a little bit retarded, this could be a good game, etc.
But why did you even upload it if it's not finished? :-/

datamosh 2012-05-06 14:24

Cutest art style ever! Lovely idea, you should continue it after the Ludum. Our game is space/astronaut based too! Check it out if you have some time!

djcsdy 2012-05-06 14:28

Can't create an OpenGL context on my GeForce 9400M.

evilsandwichstudios 2012-05-09 20:14

I can't play your game because I don't have Windows nor OS/X. Perhaps another member of my team will find and rate your game.

zazery 2012-05-09 20:18

I definitely enjoy time travel games. Managed to figure out the battery to open the door and how to grow the plant. I wasn't sure what to do with the spider, open electrical panel, or gun.

manax 2012-05-12 02:33

Nice work, not sure if it's complete (based on comments) but I was able to grow the plant & fix the panel, but wasn't sure what to do beyond that...

It played fine for me, except a crash to desktop if I moved down, off the bottom of the screen.

omaha 2012-05-13 18:20

couldn't get it to run on my 2011 iMac running 10.7.3
