Looked really good, aesthetically, considering it was made up of pixels :D

Cool, but it would be good if the shots bounced off the side and you could move the ship faster.
Interesting game... I like it! :D
Cool. i liked how smooth it ran.
Cool. I liked how smooth it ran.
Ooooh, very nice! Really good work for 48 hours!
Good job! :D
I had intentions on adding a few more enemies, such as hawks and stuff outside. However, I ran out of time for adding new things and I had to focus on removing the bugs. And by the way, it's not negative, it's constructive criticism ;)
And as for Mac users, I was working on a version which would be easy to use on a Mac, but the submission edit closed and I couldn't add it, sorry :(
Yeah, I was also going to get a sound to play just before it came onto the screen, but it's just another thing I didn't have time for :(
Again, I'm sorry for not having a Mac version there, but I'll post a link here in the comments with the game and a README on how to set it up on a Mac.
Again, I just want to say to Mac users that I know what it's like to have your operating system left out from a lot of games (I use Linux mostly). So here, see if you can get this to work:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75311676/Topaz%20-%20Tiny%27s%20World%20-%20v1.0%20-%20MAC-OSX.zip
Also, I appreciate comments on parts of the game you dislike. This is the first game that I've finished before, and I will improve on the problems in my next one :)
Whoops, sorry. Fixed the file name problem. :)
I'm going to try to make an EXE now...
I was hoping it worked on other versions of Linux. And thanks for the advice.
*sigh* I added more enemies in the later levels...
Great work on the presentation! :D
Really good! BTW, I got up to wave 12 :P
I really liked it! The only thing I think you could improve on would be adding a few more levels. I did, however, like the ending :P
The thing which I need to accept to download the thing isn't in English, so I can't read it before clicking "I Accept".
Sorry :(
Can't seem to get it to work... Sorry.
Wow! That'd be one of my favourites :D
Really cool game, good work.
Hahaha. Very good :P
Really cool idea!
Really nice graphics! And great first entry! :D
Very nice graphics and mood to it :D
Wow! Good job :)
5/5 for humour :P
Um... It comes up with an error: "Failed to load DLL (2 DBProImageDebug.dll)"
Wouldn't run, sorry. But it looks good from the screenshot :D
Nice work!
Download doesn't work here either...
Pretty cool. But what were the question boxes for? :P
Nice!
Nice job on the randomly generated map!
Sorry, doesn't start on my computer :(
I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit).
Wow... Really good game! Good work! :)
Sorry, don't have a Mac. :(
I give up, but from what I've played, it looks quite good. Good job! :D
Good work! I destroyed the whole planet too :P
Sorry, can't find the download link... :(
Great game, but there's very little explanation on how to play and the time before you need a house to survive is very small.
Nice game!
Cool concept
At first I found it a little hard to control the player's direction, but I eventually got the hang of it.I really like the concept, COOL GAME!
Really good game! I liked the graphics and how everything worked well together. Good work!
Pretty cool. I like it. The only thing is that sometimes when you land in a crater, you can't get out because the ship bounces off the walls. Other than that, good work! :)
Creepy! :D
Liked the music!
Pretty good :D
Wow. Nice game! Good job.
Great game!
I love the use of "Yummy" as a noun :P
Cool music. And I liked the patterns on the planets.
Nice! And Python FTW!!! :D
Pretty good. Good job :)
I liked the music, and the speech at the beginning of the levels. However, it would've been good if you had added sounds for when you picked up items.
Sorry, don't have Android. But it looks good anyway :)
Interesting.
Cool, but the guy got stuck and I couldn't move somewhere in the forth level. Other than that, great work! :D
Cool!
Sorry, don't want to register...
Wow! :D
This is one of my favourites :D
Finished it :P
Wow. Nice game!
Aceria: Thanks for the advice, I might have a look at the book. With regards to the game planning, and I will probably write a post-mortem about this, we started with a story-centered approach but ran out of time since members of the team were unavailable for a fair bit of the period we had to work on it. Thanks for the in-depth review.
Kddekadenz, could you be more specific? Did a window come up and then close, or did it not open whatsoever? What OS are you using?
Really nice game!
Very nice. Good to see another python user too. If you want, you can check out my game, my second entry to LD, which uses Python+PyGame also http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=10594
I really liked that, full stars for the mood. Music and voice acting worked well together in my opinion. Thanks for the advice with my game.
Nice graphics and controls. Interesting mechanics too.
That was amazing! I gave 5 stars in most categories, good job :)
Nice work! :)
Pretty simple and well polished.
Very nice!
Took a minute, but I figured out what was going on. Nice mechanics and music!
Very nice.
Graphics look nice.
Really good entry! Everything seemed to work nicely together :)
Very nice. Innovation was one of its strong points in my opinion, and the fact that it was an original style of gameplay.
Works fine on Firefox here. Nice game, graphics are pretty good. Thanks for the nice words about my game :)
Nice game. I like the mechanics
Really cool game! Almost finished round 5 on my first go.
Background music's pretty good, and I really like the idea of it. Sometimes got stuck in the blocks though.
Very minimalist, but very nice. Got 746, and was on level 16.
I really like this. The graphics work well with the sounds, and the mechanics are good too. Good work!
That was really good. One of the best games I've seen in terms of fitting the theme.
I've heard you can compile PyGame applications for OSX, do you think you could look into my game, or tell me how you do it (I haven't had much luck with anything apart from py2exe).
Pretty nice, keep up the good work and with some practice you'll get better. Hope to see another game in the future.
Definitely one of my favourite entries so far. Good work!
Pretty funny. Nice music too!
Wow, that's pretty awesome. Still fun on a keyboard.
Nice job! I use Python + PyGame too btw, you should check out our game: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=10594
Works fine on my computer. Good gameplay, but I have a few suggestions:
1. A click to start (or an equivalent), so that the game doesn't start the instant the program is run
2. A less abrupt ending (quits when you die), and possibly a score counter.
I believe the latter could be done with a simple counter which increases the score by one each frame.
That aside, a nice game which I believe has potential :)
That's pretty awesome! Really like the music :)
Thanks for the nice review of our game, too.
