I'm enjoying it. Can you rotate pieces? My best was 2190.

eventhandler 2012-04-23 07:56

2190, not bad! Rotating pieces were on my todo list, but— like many other things— fell victim to the cruel 48 hour timeframe.

true-valhalla 2012-04-23 10:06

This was really cool. A simple concept but a good concept. Great use of theme, and overall a memorable game - congratulations!

juniorus 2012-04-23 16:44

One of my favorite of this LD! I love the concept, it fits perfectly with the theme. Yeah, please upadte the game with rotating-piece feature.
And my best score was 3130 :P

cubertoy 2012-04-23 17:22

Great concept, great game. This could be a hit of a gameplay !

piterlouis 2012-04-24 10:38

I like your puzzle game, great idea. Well done.

zamando 2012-04-24 10:41

Really innovative game. You should really add some more features! Add music! :D

beerman 2012-04-24 10:43

This could be really good with some more fleshed out puzzle mechanics. I liked how after enough upgrades the spaces became free to put anything on again, helps keep the game going.

pythong 2012-04-24 10:49

uh. after I found out i had to click to drag and click to drop instead of drag and drop, i enjoyed it as well (before that it was rage mode on)

m-gryko85 2012-04-24 10:50

Main idea rocks!
minimal yet good graphics. Too bad you ran out of time, I miss the most possibility to rotate the blocks

repstyle 2012-04-25 12:27

Nice, i played more time than usual on your game ^^
I really appreciate your puzzle game.

mrphil 2012-04-25 17:12

I've played a several games now and my best score is 5280. It's a lot of fun!

ishisoft 2012-04-25 17:17

We made quite similar games! I was even thinking of placing groups of blocks in mine, though I went for individual tiles in the end. I enjoyed playing it, a satisfying little puzzler. Love the subtle lighting and the rainbow blocks. Best is 3360!

gritfish 2012-04-29 05:29

Really cool puzzle idea, would be great if you could detect a game-over "no more moves" state, but in 48 hours, I can imagine that's really hard to do.

lythom 2012-05-01 11:02

2240 ^^
No more to say over previous comments : really great concept, cute design. I loved this simple and efficient gameplay.
Thanks for the game !

azurenimbus 2012-05-04 03:01

The game has a pretty solid structure, just needs a little bit more building. When you say all the things that it lacks like that, it makes it sound much worse than what it actually is :) Come back next time!

pierrec 2012-05-04 09:23

2120 on my first try, and I'll try again.
Honestly, I think it's great that you can't rotate pieces, it makes the game easier.
This is already a great puzzle!

datamosh 2012-05-06 14:32

Looks BEAUTIFUL! And the concept is gret too! As other said, I would like to see the rotating feature.

nihilocrat 2012-05-06 16:39

Really clever idea! Gets a bit frustrating at the end when it's really hard to tell if you can place anything.

madball 2012-05-06 17:41

It's simple yet entertaining. Looks like a board game.

rvmook 2012-05-06 17:54

Quite addicting game, had fun playing it. Rotating pieces would be a nice addition

matthias_zarzecki 2012-05-06 19:55

Ha, great puzzle.

hume 2012-05-06 20:14

Love it. I want to play the full version!

getrandomname 2012-05-06 20:15

Very interisting concept and like the others i would like rotate the pieces.

ilo 2012-05-06 20:16

I hope you develop this further - it's a really promising start. I've managed 4750 so far, and I have a feeling I'll be coming back to try and beat it. :)

tifu 2012-05-06 21:59

Really good concept, if you implement the things you mentioned not getting to this could be a really great puzzle game =D

funkydelpueblo 2012-05-06 22:53

Solid game. Neat to think about, fun... a little bit addicting!

dracir 2012-05-07 01:30

That's hard, but it's fun :D

mesene 2012-05-07 07:59

Nice job, as you said at the description it need some extra work, finish it!

wyzfen 2012-05-09 20:52

Nice puzzle. I didnt realise that the rainbows were wild for a while. Would be good if there were puzzles like 'fit these 5 pieces on this board', as well as freeform.

johanp 2012-05-13 08:02

Awesome concept! I really like it. Too bad it is not more finished. Two thumbs up!

jonathang 2012-05-13 11:12

This is a lot of fun! I had to keep refreshing the page when I couldn't continue as there's no reset option, but that didn't stop me playing several games! The graphics are simple but effective.
Some improvements - somtimes the pieces have separate "islands" of tiles, and it's difficult to tell which are part of the same piece when picking them up. Also it'd be good to see what's underneath a tile that doesn't match, perhaps make it transparent? Also rotation would be good.

mark_ffrench 2012-05-13 15:32

Really nice, innovative little puzzle game. If you fleshed this out a little more and added rotation you could have something really simple but brilliant.

kevinworkman 2012-05-13 16:20

This is a great concept, and if you implemented the features you mentioned, this would be a really fun little game. Nice work for 48 hours, as the underlying engine is there and works great.

sonnybone 2012-05-13 19:58

This is a really rad idea that needs to be continued. Make a full game and sell it on mobile. I'd buy it.

benw 2012-05-13 21:08

I really want to be able to rotate pieces.

maximschoemaker 2012-05-13 23:16

What a lovely concept! And a very cute implementation. Especially the upgrading your tiles thing was nice, because it really motivated you to combine the tiles, cause you wanted to see what the upgraded versions looked like ^^
I guess as a puzzle game the randomness of the tile formations you get to work with is maybe a little too high, making the game feel a little unfair or unbalanced.
But overall really good! :D
(pity there was no sound :P)
