Nice game, very intuitive. The theme is very obvious on this one and game play is very present. Gets crazy pretty fast, like a bullet hell. Congratulations! =D
Well, it was fun, though I'm not sure it really fits 'evolution.' It felt more like I was just leveling up. Evolving implies multiple pathways. I did like how enemies became vulnerable to you as you got more advanced.
Controls are a bit abrupt, but got the job done. Music was manic... Kinda nuts... Got killed by a thing that spawned on me, uncool... I like!

I'm an ikaruga fan so this speaks to me in a good way ^^ Sadly color baddies can spawn waaaaaaaaay too close from you for the game to be anything else but mostly random.
I found that drops of the other colour would appear right in front of me with no time to react. :(
Great pick up and play appeal. I'm loving the games that need no instructions more and more.
I like graphics and music. Gameplay was quite innovative, but i think difficulty is too high.
I am really having fun playing Gobbulator. It's simple and easy to understand, but still has got the ability to keep up excitement. Nice functioning work for a 72 hour jam.
Cool concept, having to switch modes to pick up certain "food". The music was good too :)

Good stuff, thought it was really fun. My main suggestion, besides the random-spawning issue some other people mentioned, is that I think the different colors should be much more identifiable so players could just focus on movement/color-switching without having to try to figure out who's dangerous. Maybe that was only a problem for me though.
The game was very easy to understand despite the minimal instructions. You did a great job of implementing a gradual progression.

great! but why only WASD and SPACE? had me play the whole game with only my left hand.. other than that, nicely focused and fun to play!
