Now that I have a web applet up and running, this problems should vanish...
Way too many 4chans / memes for my liking.
Cool :D
"meme humor" is an oxymoron. It was somewhat boring and didn't know where to go. I also could see seams between the rows of tiles.
There's a lot to like about this. I enjoy exploration games so this was great in that sense. Lots of potential.
Wish there would have been a bit more polish overall.
I liked the concept. I think it could have a real Toejam and Earl feel to it with some polish. The text was perhaps unnecessarily harsh/adult, but the story was otherwise cute. It'd be nice if the eat/drink dialog went away after the first use, so the user didn't have to mash the space button each time they ate/drank.
I enjoyed the combination of 3D world with 2D sprites in perspective, and the vibrant, homebrew graphics. WASD worked, though I found it wanting for diagonal movement. (WASD also seemed to interfere with using trees/water).
Good use of different terrain/worlds. Good theme fit. Would've loved some kitchy audio in there. Maybe in a follow-up?
Overall, good work!
