The game seems really unfinished as it seems that you have really good ideas, but I don't really understand what I have to do etc..

Game seems pretty polished from the part that i played. but it would be good to have some instruction what am i doing and how to do it. At the start it just puts you in completely dark hallway where i only saw hand and crosshair. i didn't know if im moving or not so i just randomly pressed wasd untill i saw some sort of hallway. Then i came to the area where it actualy tells you to use Q to swap, and E to pickup and leftlick to attract itmes back into your hand. I tought tutorial would be longer since i didn't know what im swapping even. It seems its another dimension but i couldn't figure out what to do or what to use items for or what swapping idmensions even is useful for. I came to one character that even had multiple dialogue choices but again i couldn't figure out how to advance.

Instructions would make all the difference.

Very strange/Creepy experience. Feels like I'm high as a chimney. Very good entry tho. You should continue it and have a finished product.

After talking to the guy, I found myself in an endless corridor and couldn't really understand what to do... does anybody have any clue?

thorpalsson 2021-10-07 13:58

@der-mondhade if you turn around after a little bit of walking there will be a door that spawns on the wall behind you.

There are interesting ideas, but it lacks some feedback to the player on what is happening. I also found mouse responsiveness is really low in FPS mode, making it really uncomfortable to turn around. First time picking the bright ball almost blinded me :joy:. What is that transparent face while player camera is lit?

The dimension/reality swapping reminded me of `Soul Reaver` / `Legacy of Kain` games somehow.

Good game! The graphics are awesome, and I like the enemies - they're pretty creepy! The first time I saw one I didn't know what it was as its back was facing me, so I foolishly walked around to face it and got jumpscared by it. Their attack audio is neat and creepy! The frog objects were a nice touch too, they were my friends in that strange world. I also loved the hall way mechanic at the beginning - walking forever but never reaching the end, and then figuring out how to get to the door. Pretty cool! I also liked the story going on - I didn't get to see much of it, but I could tell there was something going on with the help of the objects that were sitting around. That was a pretty neat touch of story telling! Unfortunately I didn't get very far though, as I couldn't figure out how to get passed the enemies to progress. My guess was that you throw stuff at them, but things don't seem to be thrown at where you are aiming, so I couldn't ever hit them. Still, I really enjoyed this game. Well done!

Mouse control feels a little odd/slow, but game scared me and atmosphere creeped me from the beggining.

I really like your atmosphere. These design and music so cool. But I don't understand what I need to do..

erikengineengineer 2021-10-20 20:33

I saw a Face in the light :O Yeah all in all I didn't know what to do!

diharaw94 2021-10-21 00:31

Really cool atmosphere, quite creepy too especially when I walked out of that room in warp and heard whispers or something. But overall I didn't understand how to play it unfortunately.

This game is tense! The controls feel stiff to turn around, but I was really digging the mood of the game. The hallway got me for a while, until I turned up the brightness and saw that there was actually a door I was walking towards. Then I figured where the actual door was.

The enemies scared me too much! The audio startled me, and I thought I would be safe warping away. It turned out they have a fix on you no matter what, so as soon as two enemies locked onto me I was toast! I don't like scares too much so I stopped there, but overall this felt like a real horror game! It is way too dark, like literal dark that I could not see a lot of what was happening, but the atmosphere was top notch.

Very good work all around!
