@gygol haha fantastic, we wanted the game to be "speedrunnable" so this is a great first comment :D
I didn't like the game. The visuals are good and the game has a cool vibe, but it's kind of boring to play. Also last level to overextended.
i am scared but thats ok. super cool game!
cool artstyle
soooo addictive, this is such a banger!!
Looking forward to seeing this game on the next GDQ. Super fun and the vibe is immaculate
that was intense, love the track!
Very nice art and sound. Great game!
SKIP SKIP SKIP SKIP. HAMSTER. Cool
You're in a digital dream, I love it so much, I love this kind of thing, you're so cool!
Nice game! Love the graphics
Very funny game with tons of personality! Humorous games are always tough for me because it's hard to take them serious when reviewing. If I was to find this game on steam for a dollar and play it, I'd probably play the first level, crack up at the introduction and skip button, beat it, then once I started the second level and realized its more or less the same... I'd quit. For a jam though I try to understand more what you were trying to achieve as devs.
The humor and aesthetic design is VERY memorable but the problem is, if you don't have a gameplay hook that's interesting in any capacity you'd better be prepared to have an extremely consistently funny game, or players wont bother sticking around to beat the 2nd level that plays pretty much the same as the first, UNLESS you are keeping the humor up WHILE the gameplay is happening. Even then that's tough and games that do it well, like "High on Life" for example, still struggle to keep players playing to the end, because the gameplay just doesn't hold player attention.
Anyways, I guess to summarize: if your goal was to create a funny, aesthetically interesting game, then well shit I played the game because the thumbnail looked cool and I definitely laughed at the hamster facecam so mission accomplished 😂
Fire gameplay and hilarious writing. "Father, come in! Come in! Come in, Father!" had me cracking up as I blasted heretics into little mince pies -15HP at a time. But the RMB charge attack didn't seem to work for me, it just does the same shotgun attack. Also crosshairs would have been great since it was hard to see where I'm aiming. The pacing was fast and exciting and the shift-to-run QOL feature was nice to have. I think enemies should have less health (might be better if they were one-shot) so that it's quicker to get through the game once you get good, instead of having to linger to take them down before progressing. That would really amp up the run and gun adrenalin rush.
Oh nice, I figured it out: hold RMB lets you charge for a focused shot (I thought it was supposed to be attack with the thing you're holding in your left hand), and being closer to enemies lets you do more damage. Very fun gunplay on this.
Really great game, textures flicker sadly too much. love the grainy touch. And the music also the intro was epic!

This game is the exact opposite of the one we made, but it was also my favourite. Shout out to the artists and the musician, the rat (?) on the radio literally spoke to me.
Absolutely love it! I'm a really fun of PSX graphics style and old-school shooters, so I've had a great time playing your game) Снимок экрана 2026-04-23 164319.png

The personality and writing carry this hard! hamster facecam, PSX aesthetic, "Father, come in! Come in! Come in, Father!". I was laughing while shooting, which is the dream. a crosshair would help. Main gameplay note: enemy HP feels a touch high for the run-and-gun energy you're going for; lowering it (or one-shots) would let the adrenaline really cook. Loved it.
I really enjoyed the first two levels, but that boss fight was brutally long. I was ready to be done after phase one, but then it just kept going. It wasn't challenging at all, and it had so much health that I was basically just running backwards and shooting for over 10 minutes straight. Besides that though, this was great! Shooting feels good, even without much audio feedback for a hit, and the overall style of the game is so unique.
Super fun and full of personality. The PSX visuals, music are great and the fast gameplay is also very cool!Great entry
This is a wonderful game—it’s simply delightful. There are a few areas that could use some improvement, such as the font and the feedback, but otherwise it’s fun and exciting. Great job!
