Nice work ! i had some fun on it!
This was fun, like the graphics.
the pillars look very good, and it's very on point! A simple concept followed through to its full conclusion
Great! I liked how scary it was to stack the blocks. Ether I'm bad, or your game is pretty hard.
It kind of looked straightforward when I first loaded it but I kept going "oh, it does this? this is cool!" as I learned more about the game. I was really impressed with how solid everything felt and the subtle details like the models being in 3D and having nice lighting as they moved around. Really great work!
Nice game, the physics is fun to play with but it's a bit hard to build high
Interesting The game becomes difficult as you progress. I don't know if this was a bug, but there was no music playing.
@mabrax There indeed is no music or sounds. We just focused on the physics, graphics and gameplay loop and ran out of time!
The background was an interesting choice, but for me it worked well!
Interesting concept! Even though there is no sound, it works as a game. Took a bit to get the hang of the movement system and it was a bit wonky placing pillars when all pillars are unlocked and can be moved by anything. A nice foundation! Good work!!!
Nice idea for the theme and fun to play. Would of give the game more atmosphere if there was some sound, but other than that, a nice game loop, good work!
nicely put together, I like the aesthetics, choice of colors and the fact that I can play in the browser no problem. The rotating mechanic was not intuitive but the instructions in the text were super clear.
It's quite punishing! I like the fact that you can mess up your previous construction in the build phase. I'd prefer some shorter pieces at the start, that way it would be a little easier and then ramp up the difficulty afterwards
nice
Nice game! I liked how you could place and rotate pieces, though that took me a little bit to figure out (cause I didn't read the description haha). I also noticed new shapes once you lose and play again which was cool. Great work on the physics, too!
Nice game! adhere to the theme very well. I have played it a bit and it was challenging. Good Job
The game fits perfectly into the theme! Despite the lack of sound, the atmosphere is pleasant enough. Well done!
Nice game, fit perfectly the theme. It took me time before understanding that I had limited life. I was just throwing away the pieces I didn't want at first xD
After figuring out the controls I had fun with this one! It's quite challenging but it like that. Well done!
really nice mechanic! nice implementation in three.js, it works flawlessly, as a small suggestion maybe you can add rotation with mouse wheel while holding a piece... it's a bit annoying to have to release a piece to rotate it...
Hey @bruno-molteni! We'd like to do something like this. Even just allowing you to push/pull the part of a piece that you drag, to nudge and angle it with the same control as moving it. You could then even "parallel park" a piece by dragging one end of it around other pieces. Thanks for the feedback!
**edit:** we added this to the post-jam version. Thanks again!
Fun idea- I like the aesthetic a lot. I had a pretty hard time stacking some of the pieces (mostly the plates). But I was really pleased when a weird shape actually did stay put. Thanks for making this!
Great job, this is a solid game and fun to play. The visuals are simple in the best way possible. It gets really difficult to stack and maneuver anything when at level 4+ when I played because I had to start building horizontally when some objects from previous level were higher than the camera view and it was so cluttered with so many objects on screen.
I just played it as a bomber?) I mean I liked just throwing those columns and other architecture elements around. Game allows you to just go back in a level if you fail. So I had my fun just playing around with the architecture Transitions and movement are smooth, it is just pleasure to switch between levels watching camera moving up and down smoothly
Fun game! Quite challenging, since stacking newer pieces on top of the older ones can mess up what was already contructed (which I really like!).
Great entry :)
Funny game, I Like greek theme) But it's very difficult to me get to the third lvl. Maybe in future you can add rotation of the columns. Thank you for your game)
Very creative and fun game!!. Well done!
Simple and fun ! Maybe some form of feedback as to how certain pieces stack or some protection for same pieces groups (ie, my 1st level was 5 of the exact same piece, sometimes great, sometimes meh).
I've played both versions and decided to rate post-jam one as it is more of a game you were up to make.
Graphically it is superb but gameplay could use something more to it, as most of them pieces are not really made to be stacked up, though that adds to humor. I can tell programming this was hard, there are so many things that needed tweaking and some still do. I did had some fun with it, though it would be more fun if pieces' physical bodies had some more stability to them, when timer runs out their paper-like mass makes them too easy to tumble over which is kind of anticlimactic. Their light body mass during dragging phase is perfect, but it should probably be added to after timer runs out, or increase friction or something like that. Either way I did had some frustrating fun with it, gj.
@kr4ft3r I think easing the pieces into full gravity instead of just turning it on, could be a great and simple improvement. It also gives me the playful idea that any piece you touch starts to fall slower than a feather, so if you’re not careful you might have to spend a bit of your time juggling. Thanks for playing and thank you for your feedback!
