Hi!
Love the style of the game, also the music totally slaps. All the gameplay loops, while tested and tried, are fun to play and are well made.
Could be cool to have some kind of progression where you collect the files and can then view them later?
Cheers!
I got fired for not summoning enough demons. 666/10 would work for again
Love the vibe and art style! I think my main feedback is giving the player a little more time at the start of the first mini game to actually give them time to get setup. I found myself usually failing the first game regardless of what it was as I didn't always have enough time to play around/ get a feel for the mini games controls.
I enjoyed all of the games and the sound effects. I felt driven to come back for more if I lost. I was thinking it'd be really satisfying to be able to blast through more than one folder at once if you aimed at them while they're lined up and had enough power.
The art, gameplay, and sound is great. I really enjoy the immersion of interacting with the mouse and the games on one screen.
the credits music is absolutely not to be missed - great singing and instrumentation there in particular! fun microgames with a very cute theme. i had a good time playing. my only thought is that a small countdown before each game begins would help a lot, going straight in (and needing to shift from mouse to keyboard) sometimes meant failure. still, lovely game and great tunes!!
cool game!! loved the music & the background sounds especially ! agree with the people above about having some leeway before each game to make it easier to survive.
So much different genres into one little game, you pulled it off perfectly. I love the style and the warioware feel this game gave. The sounds were on point, the voice acting was beautiful. Great entry, good job!
Awesome art, audio and gameplay idea! The controls are a bit clunky but maybe that's on purpose to make it harder. There are other ways to make it difficult though. Overall I love it, played it way more than I should've. Well done!
Super cool the idea to add little retrogames into the actual game. Arts are really good and serve the weird summoning job well :) Nice entry !
You are really great! The game turned out great!
You guys are killing it, my friends, the level of completion is seriously impressive.
this game was really fun, nice job! the style of the minigames was really nice as well ^^
It's cool that you have an artist who painted this game alone! The gameplay itself is addictive and I want to play this game again)
@thegreatcarpet We actually had two artists work on this game. @skunk and @wolfandwolf were our super awesome artists
Very well done on the art and sounds ! The gameplay is a bit too tight on some minigames to my taste but I like it. Only thing I dislike is that you have to use the mouse to start a new minigame, but the minigames use keyboard, which can lead to lose a precious second to reach back the keys.
I guess it also means that I suck at the game
Otherwise great game tho.
@littlegamer Thanks for your feedback! This is the number one critique we've gotten and I plan on adding a short timer or something after you drag a file. The mouse to keyboard is intentional but the jump is a bit fast. I'll likely be making improvements after the rating period is over and post them on the Newgrounds page as I'd like to make a leaderboard there using their API.
Love the art and the desktop perspective. Smart idea to use the center for various minigames. I wish there was a bit more originality in the minigames (although I always loved a flappy clone).
Y'all killed it! So polished for a jam game. The games played well and the art and music (especially the title song!) were fantastic!
@zackfrankmusic Thank you so much! :)
Great art and funny sound! Congrats on submission!
Awesome art/theme/sound/writing/so many great things. Minor quibbles with the gameplay. Minigame difficulty could use some balancing - for example I found the Brick Breaker trivial with only one layer, but died immediately on Flappy Bird because I didn't even realize what it was until too late. Space Invaders was a little counter-intuitive (didn't realize initially I had to destroy all enemies before they reached the bottom, rather than just clearing a gap) and the movement was frustrating. But like I said, all nitpicks, this is undeniably an excellent submission.
This is a wonderful experience! What a joy to play! The great music, sound effects, the environment and the hard, but not unbeatable mini games make you retry again and again. The main menu song is truly catchy! Good job!
@helviett Thank you!
@gobigredfan Thanks so much for the constructive criticism! Next time I'm going to try and have people play test during development
The music!!!!!
I found my personal winner of LD55, and it is not just about excellent gameplay, mood, music, etc. It is much more personal. It is the reflection of my nightmares about my future.. And yes, I have a PhD in ecology...
@krummsakura INSECT ecology?! I'm really glad you enjoyed our game this comment made my day :)
I can feel the passion through this game ! Amazing feat, the music from the menu to the cozy turning into drum and bass when you start losing, the voice overs and the jokes, the details in the employee's resume, super cool and detailed
The art direction is also nice, the games are challenging (a bit too much at times) but fun, very polished game I loved it !
I was ready to shed a tear when I first heard the song. The art, the music, the flappy-doggo, the way everything fits together is just crazy for a game jam. I know the comments here are more inclined towards saying good, but holy, I feel most pleased after playing this. I just love when a game delivers emotions as originally planned. I'm emotionally impressed.
@hamster-cheeks *Unfortunately* not insect ecology.. Computational ecology and modeling, but still.. :)
I like the idea to directly integrated the mini games into the paper work on the desk. However, sometimes the games start really fast, e.g., the flappy game. So switching from touchpad to keyboard had to be really quick. Why not allowing to move the application sheets also with the keyboard? The space invader game seems also to be a little bit fast but maybe this is one purpose. Would be also cool if there would be a little more game mechanics with the application papers. But overall, nice collection of mini games and well integrated into the setting. :)
Wow the presentation is absolutely stellar on this one! I didn't expect to find a game with a whole written song but I must say this left me quite impressed! I also love the visuals, they look amazing as well, congrats to the artists and the musician who worked on this they did an amazing job!!
The game itself is fun, I wish the minigames wouldn't start so fast because it caused me to lose a few times. I also wish there was a little bit more minigames but what's there is great still!
Amazing entry, good job!
Very nice presentation, liked idea and graphics. Space invaders game is a bit too difficult (Slippery controls and little time). The resumes are hilarious!
Fun collection of mini-games with cute graphics. Definitely worth adding some pause before starting a new mini-game, after a failure, or after putting away the document in the folder. Great job!

Interesting game. Nice art and sound. Some of the mini-games could do with a bit of a lead-in before starting the action: the flappy-bird clone kept catching me out. Good work!
This was great! I'm really impressed with all of the different mechanics y'all were able to get in. The opening song was a great way to work in some exposition and it was a delightful surprise discovering what demon you summoned after each game. Also love the art of the play area and the little hell hound sprite
Really fun entry! It's impressive you got multiple small minigames going that were all fun enough. Good graphics, audio and writing tied it all together and it was a clever and distinct use of the theme.
I really dug the "No! Who made this crap?" menu item, and the intro song is amazing!
