LD51 — Every 10 seconds

KAIROS, Battle for Seconds by Paul Giovannini 2022-10-04T17:33:42Z

Wow, absolutely world class game. I actually can't find any negatives about the it. Art, story and gameplay is just so spot on. Sound design and music was also perfect. I can definitely see myself buying this game once you flesh out the plot. Amazing job guys. You make me proud <3

Survive Another 10 Seconds by crotonyl_alcohol 2022-10-05T18:00:29Z

I had so much fun. I love bullet-hell games with fast controls and high rate of fire like this one. Only thing I'd like to point out is that the blue projectiles coming out of the moving enemies are difficult to see. My score was 492. Great job guys!

House of Kipo by Klumaster 2022-10-04T17:22:02Z

Awesome game. I love exploring haunted mansions. Great job guys! <3

Witch Upon A Star by WhaleJam 2022-10-05T17:50:29Z

Played it twice. I had hoped to find more characters to talk to on the second run but I had a good time regardless. Great job!

Awesome game! Incredible design.

Mr.AdBar by eddynardo 2023-10-03T21:32:25Z

Simply fantastic. I really enjoyed the writing and gameplay even when it froze at times. When you mentioned the new mechanic I was like "You bastard... Thank you.". Thank you for sharing!

Space Freight Ltd. by Chartle 2023-10-03T10:56:55Z

Definitely has potential, great job!

Some gripes I had was with the tutorial not showing how to open carriages. I know you mentioned it in the description but you won't be able to scroll down to see it when launching the web version. Explaining controls with images is usually the most helpful ones.

I also had trouble trying to find the right planet to deliver certain materials like boxes and tumbleweeds when I mostly see suitcases. I think if you added arrows at the edge of the screen to point at the closest planet you could deliver a specific material based on what materials you currently possess would be an excellent idea to prevent you from wasting time and resources.

You guys have an awesome theme song, but in the web version I get distortions in the audio for a split second when starting a new game.

Everything Must Go by Rohun 2023-10-03T20:36:53Z

It's hilariously perfect, need I say more. I really like the pot ad :D

Pack It In by adam-gould 2023-10-03T13:32:04Z

A solid entry. Nice visuals, good background music and a fantastic tutorial voice guy.

One gripe I have is that I don't want to hold down the R button for a second to restart the level. If I get stuck in a level I want to retry as quickly as I can and just have the restart to be instant instead.

Flicker of Lumina by Nash 2023-10-03T11:51:16Z

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and and ambient sounds which went really well with the visuals. The UI is amazing and is something that sometimes gets overlooked. Controls and overall gameplay felt solid although I found the player character to be a bit too tall to be agile during horizontal movement to avoid enemies. A healthbar for the boss would also be nice.

Overall a fantastic entry. I always have a soft spot for spooky titles and I am glad this one didn't disappoint. Great job everyone!

If I Fits, I Sits! by cheesepencil 2023-10-03T12:56:48Z

I cute little game that only reinforces my belief that cats are liquid. Amazing work!

Loot Goblin by Shad 2023-10-03T14:03:39Z

I love the goblin voice lines, awesome job. The game is really fun and I like how you guys added a leaderboards screen, you don't see that very often. Overall great entry!

Riven by JunaGames 2023-10-03T13:47:59Z

It's a fun game, I really like the art and music as well as the pirate theme. This game definitely needs to be played in full screen so that you don't accidentally move out of bounds with your mouse. I also thought that the cannonballs you shoot out should be faster than your ship because sometimes I need to shoot a ship at close range but end up crashing into it because the cannonball was to slow.

Overall a solid entry. Great job!

Whiskers in the Dark by Diego Teran 2023-10-03T17:27:17Z

It's cute, black cats are my favorite. I love the creepy atmosphere. Amazing game!

Pixel Piles by Gabriel Chan 2023-10-03T11:30:05Z

It's a really charming entry. Though I have a couple of gripes I'd like to point out.

- I think walking into the walls to rotate the incoming shape is very difficult to utilize. Maybe it would have been better to use a keyboard button instead. - I would have like some sort of indicator that the next block will spawn in x amount of beats

Otherwise a solid entry. Well done.

Depths of Eonar by GreyNovemberGames 2023-10-03T13:39:35Z

I like the art style and background theme a lot. One gripe I have is that the player and enemies move a bit fast but that's no biggie.

Packed to the Gills by npckc 2023-10-03T11:14:45Z

Wow! This game is nothing short of extraordinary in its simplicity and satisfying game loop. Thank you for making this, I had such a great time playing it! I love music. I love the haikus you made, I like the last one the most. You guys should totally publish this game. I can't wait to see what you guys are gonna do for your next game jam!

FELL OUT by daveranan 2023-10-03T14:18:49Z

An interesting title with unique visuals, in 3D no less. A solid entry. Great job!

Keep It Burning by Daniel G 2023-10-03T13:22:31Z

It's a fun little game but in my opinion needs a couple of smaller things to really make it shine.

For one the background music should change tone the lower your fuel gets to make the player feel some dread when running out of fuel. I think it's called "Shepard Tone", if you used that I think it would really amp up the atmosphere.

The second would be to highlight items of interest. Yes I know that the game is supposed to be dark but I'd hate to miss out on a button or fuel that I really need to pick up to progress. Instead I suggest that you can have a small spark that represents that items are reflecting the light coming from the player. I think that would help a lot to progress the game.

Overall good entry, it looks great but the gameplay needs some fine tuning to really hit it off. Good job!

Nice Park! by Barbabulle 2023-10-03T12:51:09Z

YES! Anyone who's ever had to park for the first time would love this game. As someone who likes parking the least when it comes to driving, I had a good time playing it. The theme fits really well, the controls are reliable, my favorite bit is when the cars honk their horn when you drive into them. Great stuff overall, it's made out of complete awesomesauce
