It's a bit of a pity that you don't truly realize that your information appears to other players unless you try it yourself on incognito. Very cool concept, and while trying to leave the courtroom is a bit buggy, it was a pretty cool idea!

I loved the idea of the game. It is quite innovative. Unfortunately I played it quite early, so I don't think I got all the potential from it, as some answers were blank. A fun concept to explore further, I'd love to delve more into the world, the vibe and the story. Good job :)

Wow so sad I found this game so early. As there was only one answer filled in and the rest was blank. Loved the art and innovative ideas and interpretation of the theme.

Will check back later to see what other people have filled in. (hopefully this is possible  )

Very cool recreation/reimagining of that old game with a similar idea that I forgot the name of. The art style is really cool and the music is also great. Good job team!

Very cool idea but it seems in the beginning I didn't quite understand the concept of the game, also because many answers of the prisoners were blank.

Very neat idea and the aesthetics are very unique looking in 3D space like that, creates an very special atmosphere together with the music. On the game-play part I'd have to say that dialogue was a bit clunky, but everything seemed to work and innovative. Good work!

i liked

Damn, I got here too early - all of the answers were blank :frowning2:

But I left answers for others to discover!

Very interesting concept and eerie atmosphere fitting to what happens! Not giving away any information about what is to go down in the description on the ldjam site was the right way to go here (even though it made me wary in the beginning that this was unfinished)

What a profound little game. Having the game circle back on itself like that is a really interesting idea. My piece of advice would be to include some instructions on the controls in the game, since that got me confused for a bit.

jesse-j-jones 2023-10-03 15:30

I liked the style of the game, but I ran into some issues, one that stopped me from continuing to play the game. Didn't really know what to do controls-wise at the beginning, wasn't sure what the logic was to picking prisoners as only one of them gave any information. Then ran into a bug where the dialogue wouldn't continue while talking to the lady and I had to force close the tab. Again, cool art style, just some issues to work on. Nice job! :)

agentparsec 2023-10-03 15:36

If I'm understanding this right, my answers will be given to someone else playing the game? If so, that's pretty cool ^^

lespaul59 2023-10-03 17:37

Such a cool idea for a game. I used both Links to play the game twice - and my answers really were in the game. Well done! Graphics, Mood and Audio is also superb! :)

treenut 2023-10-03 18:22

The style and concept are interesting. I had fun playing. Btw big fan of the bird photo lol xD

velvetlobster 2023-10-03 18:56

@agentparsec yes, its a database, we thought of others ways to use players decisions and to make them impact others, but we ran out of time and we were really focused in doing a very basic gameplay since we were on a very tight schedule all of us, thanks a lot for playing ...

thanks for playing @treenut @lespaul59

@jesse-j-jones yeah, the initial idea was to have a system there, where you could ask a specific number of questions, but we ran out of time lol ... so basically you use whatever criteria you want now ... kinda lame I know, sorry for that

btw if you reopen the tab and someone has decided your fate, there is a small but new part to be played ...

velvetlobster 2023-10-03 18:57

@tomrijnbeek you are absolutely right, we were a bit in a hurry and forgot to have those ... I am updating the description to include controls

logan-core 2023-10-03 22:16

Sick concept! Two of the prisoners had no answers but hopefully that's not the case for the next person who plays. Great work on the game!

minjutin 2023-10-04 16:28

Something truly unique, truly opened up my eyes. The concept could be used in so many ways, also I like the fact that you can really play it just once

guardaro 2023-10-04 17:11

Very interesting! I admit that I cheated a bit--after I played I opened the game up in an incognito tab and was thus able to decide my own fate. Very fun premise. I enjoyed this.

adamg 2023-10-07 02:40

I like the idea of the game, but none of the prisoners had any answers, I'm not sure if something went wrong.

gamebuilder 2023-10-17 00:57

Very interesting — the ending is ironic and comes as quite a shock. As others have pointed out, the dialogue interface is clunky. Aside from that, it was fun exploring the courtroom and the area outside. And the concept is very unusual — will not say more lest I spoil the game for others. Very imaginative.

jamtempisto 2023-10-20 21:10

I agree that the controls were confusing, I could only move the camera at first.

Fun game, it's one of those things that only an indie game can pull off.
