Great work. It is cool that you have 3d graphics on jam. Gl and my congratulations <3
Gorgeous environment. I think the feel would be improved immensely if the enemies reacted and it was clear what the "attack" did. It's also not clear to me where to go... I went "deep" and then I couldn't see my player character anymore and died...
3d graphics are cool and the music's pretty lit, not gonna lie. I really vibed.
The game has desperate balance issues. It's almost impossible to get past the start unless you're lucky and move past the squids quickly. Some of the enemies move faster than the sub, so it's literally impossible to dodge them. Just...it's not fun because it constantly kills you. It's unfair.
Lots of potential though. I like how the enemies grow in size and the submarine grows smaller. It makes it feel creepy and adds depth.
It just needs to be better balanced to allow one to experience that depth.
I really like the 2.5D graphics / art style. One thing that I would improve if I could is rotating the sub that it faces the direction it's going
I really like the background music! I keep getting absolutely destroyed by the squid haha
Good job on making a 3D game for the jam - and one that works on mobile too! The game was easy to understand, and it was clear what I was supposed to do, which is great. It did feel a bit unfair though, and I feel like there's some mechanic that I'm missing, since it's difficult to dodge all the enemies. There are so many of them, and most of them are one or two hit kills - and if you get caught by the squid, it's game over, since you can't run away from them anymore. It was a fun little challenge trying to path my way through them though, and the dash mechanic did help a little there too, which was nice.
The graphics were really nice! The low-poly 3D look was great and the way the game got darker the deeper you went helped add to the atmosphere and feel of the whole game. The way the enemies got bigger and bigger was a really nice touch too - it helped to make the depths seem even more ominous, and it really helped the feel of the game. The music was pretty pleasing too, but I would've loved some more sound effects - the game did feel sort of empty without many of them.
It was a fun little adventure regardless, and I had a good time, so nice work on this one!
The enemies are brutal, especially the squids. They will ruin your day very quickly. I don't necessarily find that fun, though. The game does look nice and the background music is very fitting. The potential is there though and this game is impressive for a jam game, so nice work!
Very quick game, I love how the title screen is implemented in the game, and the background looks great as well
ALL HAIL GODOT!
The enviroment looks pretty good. I had little trouble with layout covering the player so I was unable to see exactly when I am going or what is eating me. Also the speed of the enemies at the begining could be a little slower. However, good vibes and overall good game. Well done!
I like the atmosphere that you create with the graphics. My one criticism is that the turtles move in sort of a strange way that breaks the immersion a bit.
The soundtrack was cool and felt like a water level theme should feel. A bit more player feedback on the enemy attacks would make the gameplay feel better, I would think. Keep it up!
Fun, Nice, 3D ! which is you know hard in the deadline. And hard. solid entry you have done a goodjob :)
I enjoyed the art. The squid enemy was definitely the most unfair where it basically killed you if you got close. The reload noise could be reduced and the length the reload could also be shortened. I liked the arrow indicator about where to go but the treasure was only slightly visible, so I just sort of won. Making the treasure more visible to the player and reducing the instant death from enemies would improve this immensely.
Nice. The gameplay music and the clever use of 3D parallax to give the whole scene depth were the high points for me. Those turtles are relentless, and I think you did a good job giving each of the animals a different movement style.
The turtles are the most aggressive creature of the sea, this is a fact.
I wish the game was longer. Cool environment, the contenental shelf looks nice.
