@iozsaygi thank you for this comment! My original idea is to create a evolution game and the player will get a mega bot evetually. While the time is limited that I only finished a right arm in this game, lol.
this game is way too difficult for me, but overall looks fun
@svyatozar hi svyatozar, it's always difficult when we start with nothing. Once your bot dead more than 3 times. The cheating mode will be enabled and you can get ability immediately by pressing cheat code. Thank your for playing!
Hi, congrats on submitting a game! I really love the simplicity of the art style, it works well. As someone else pointed out it is a little difficulty - I also thought it was broken at first because I could jump. Maybe you could add some text next to each ability e.g. 'locked' until you have access to them. It would help if movement speed was increased and if you could also move more easily when jumping. Great job.
Why is this game so cute?!? Seriously, the art, the sounds, the adorable robot, it makes me want to come back and play the whole game! My only gripe is that you have it on such a small window in itch.io
As above said, incredibly adorable art! Good thing it's just jam-length, otherwise I would get addicted to those cute robots :)
@scott-redrup Thanks for your playing. Yes, the hint of "locked" is necessary while I have no time to finish,lol. There is an ability named "booster" with can move horizotally with rapid speed. The init speed is too slow, I may redesign it in the future.(Current level design is based on these parameter closely so it cannot be change now.) When you dead more than 3 times, you can get all ability by cheat code directly.(There is a CheatMode hint on the bottom of the screen at that moment) Thanks again.

Fun game but i really confusing at the start! also it was hard even with the cheat mode. Any ways i love the art the music and the concept you used
Hi!, nice and cute game. The music is great. :)
For a platformer, controls are the most important. I found that the jump was frustrating as it didn't allow me to move while in the air. It's sometimes difficult to see the dangers (spikes). Try to clearly show what is safe and what is not.
The bot with the gun was funny... instant death on sight !

@fredfilo hi fredfilo, moving on air is the power of a booster. My little bot using his wheels to move horizontally,haha. And you can get every ability in CheatMode after your bot dead for more than 3 times. The spikes issue has been fixed. Thank you for playing!

The character and audio are both cute! I am not good at platformers and have only got jumping ability. The ability is fun and feels like some retro games since you must move horizontally then press jump to reach higher platforms. That's really impressive. Death penalty is too hard for me. When I touch something red I have to return to the very beginning without a second chance.

I like the difficulty level, unlike many other LD games it doesn't feel trivial to go complete it and when you do, there's the desired sense of accomplishement (I presume, I suck :D). Great simple graphics and background music work well together.
I think some more juice when you shoot and fly, could go a long way to improving an already very good game. When you fly it could shake screen a little bit and maybe a low, jetpack sound? Also, to keep the aesthetics more consistent I feel that making enemy death animations instead of simple alpha fading out would help. These are just personal suggestions, and I have no idea if they'd be any good Amazing game!
do not know if i am doing something wrong .. my controls do not seem to work so this dude keeps punishing me to my death

@velvetlobster hi velvetlobster, we need get the abilty first to unlock the control. At the very beginning we need try to move across the two jumping enemy to achieve our own jumping device! I sorry for poor control hint which mislead you! You can get more info on the whole map above.

Good level design and big content for a compo ! I like the music too, but it miss some sound FX to be perfect
About difficulty, I think some air control would be better, and maybe more than 1 life before loosing everything.
I loved the art style, it looks very cute! Good job.

Great work! The control is smooth and game progression is very nice! Also, the cheating mode is a great idea for players to test the mechanics!
@azrou hi azrou, you are right, SFX are not enough for the limited time. And almost everyone said it's too difficult, I will improve it in post-jam version. The air boost control has been seperated to a device named "boost", which may be considered as the wrost desicion of this game. If I have another chance I will prefer to improve the air control concept. Thank you very much for feedback!

The game is way too hard, even after using cheat mode it's not easy to win XD. The slow movoment at the start is kinda tiresome. I'm impressed by the the map, it's huge and makes the whole game really cool. Also upgrades are well made, I love the giant fist!
Starting all the way over on every death is frustrating. Do like the minimal art style, and fits the theme. Pretty complete compo game.
Cool platformer that fits the theme well. Challenges were set up well, and the game introduces the player to new abilities in a fun way. The map was huge, which is great for a game jam! Art was cute and worked well with the music, although the coin pickup sound was way too loud and harsh. It made me turn the game volume way down, which was unfortunate because I wanted to hear the music. Nice job!
Great concept, and amazing level scope for the 48h compo! Was very challenging! Maybe some check-points, especially prior to getting the booster when it's slow to get around ,would be helpful.
Trying to judge just the first part going under the jumping boxes was challenging.
Bonus points for sheer scale though, holy level design for a 48 hour comp!
