This is so slick! The puzzles are really clever and force you to think about the mechanics in new ways, which is super satisfying. Stick a chill music track in the background and some sound effects and I think it could be a full package!

Hi fellow jammer! I quite enjoyed your entry. It has a clever core mechanic and fits the theme perfectly. My mind quickly got filled with a suspicion that the designed could be explored quite a lot. Which is amazing for a puzzle game!
Right now I've found that I often could brute force passing levels by pressing right arrow and jumping. This got me bored after a few levels. But I think it could be improved with a bit of balancing when a game doesn't give you too many meat balls so you can be reckless, or by rewarding you with getting more meat to the finish line. I like the last option more, personally
Very nice entry  Good luck in your endeavours!

This is perfect for the theme and the puzzles are well thought out and fun to solve

Very good usage of the theme, some puzzles could be a bit more tightly designed but I do like how you can have some variance on solutions. It does suffer from some repetition due to the fact that most solutions just involve making a staircase and/or a wall. I can definitely see this concept being expanded to have more ways to change the creatures other than freezing them, or making the unfreezing a required part of the puzzle sometimes. Good job!

I really enjoyed this game! It's impressive how you managed to pack so many levels into the game. It's fun to see how levels push you to use all available mechanics, making it a satisfying challenge. A solid and creative jam entry!

Cool game! Using these meat boys to solve obstacles is fun, and there sure are a lot of levels for such a short jam.
neat :) cool level designs, although the movement felt a little tricky with the meatboys

really nice level designs and puzzles with a pretty schwaggedy mechanic of freezing them

The theme is very well implemented and the idea is very clever. The game could introduce some more difficult levels, as freezing units is a very strong mechanic, and you can technically finish some puzzles simply by controlling one unit at a time (although it would make it painful and long). I recommend introducing some puzzles with a more limited amount of meatballs, but also introducing a timer. I feel like the game would benefit from having some kind of time pressure. Increasing the score is you can manage to get the most amount of meatballs could also be a good idea. Overall, amazing game, congrats.
Loved the game, the overall idea is amazing, freezing and unfreezing little guys is a great idea aswell, loved the puzzle solving for this aswell, over all very impressed well done and cant wait to see this game further developed!

As soon as I saw the first level I really liked the interpretation of the theme and main idea, it is so cool! Overall, while there were some issues with the level design, partly due to the less than ideal movement (I realise that might be the point of the game), I enjoyed almost all puzzles the game had to offer.
Of course, goes without saying that some sounds and music would have made the experience a lot better / fix a lot of the issues of puzzle games such as perceived repetitiveness.
Great entry!

Fantastic little game. Reminds me a lot of lemmings which was one of my favourite games as a kid.
I love the concept! It's really the kind of game I had in mind for this jam!
It's a great idea, nicely done!

You are both editing the level and doing platforming. Clever! Great use of the theme.
Great puzzle game. I've seen several jam entries that let you control a bunch of characters at the same time, but having the option of freezing them makes this game quite unique. Very nice!
Cute. Small scope, but the amount of levels don't overstay their welcome. I like my pile of meatboys. An extra twist would have been nice in the late game, like buttons/door or areas where they couldn't be frozen.

Ooh such good little fellas, somehow I felt sad when I didn't get some up, minimal yet magnificent artstyle, superb work overall!

this was really easy to get into and fun to play around with! I seemed to get some end of level breaks where my counter never went below a certain number but 4 but I had no losses it was a bit bizarre, resets seemed to fix.
This game is incredibly creative and I probably have played it more than any other jam game so far. For some reason it gave me nostalgic Lemmings feelings, though both games are obviously quite different. With a little bit of expansion and some polish I think you could really have something going on here. Great job!

Really smart game with a surprising amount of depth from the mechanics. Congrats!
Yeeeees! I was really hoping that someone would make a game exactly like this. You did a great job with it too, every level felt incredibly satisfying. Bonus hat tip for actually embedding your game on the Ludum Dare page too!
Surprising amount of depth for such simple mechanics. Nice use of theme

Really interesting mechanics. I found when they were stacked to high they started to overlap and jitter a bit. Maybe that's just my computer/browser though.
This is a really fun puzzle game with a great mechanic. Not gonna lie, skimmed the description so I was playing the first few levels without knowing you could freeze the guys. Once I found that out though everything started to click. My only gripe is I feel like you should have a limit of how many guys you can freeze. A lot of the later puzzles just boiled down to freezing everyone that I didn't want to move then moving the guys and unfreezing them afterwards. Having a limit per level would require a little more thought on who you freeze and when you freeze them. Overall this is a great game and I really enjoyed it, great work!

Great idea! The puzzles look simple but you need to use smartly all that's available and be careful not dropping anyone into a large pit. Really neatly done, congrats!
I love this game!It feels really perfect for the theme of the jam. I like the fact you can be creative by drawing, finding different solutions

I loved that puzzles!
Brilliant! Absolutely wonderful game. The puzzles were interesting, the difficulty ramp felt 100% spot-on, and it was very easy to learn. I was hoping for a game that reminded me of Lemmings and you did not disappoint!
Okay, that was epic. Please continue working on this, this would be a fantastic full puzzle game!

Super!
Cool game!!! Fun mechanic and interesting puzzles
Good puzzle. I liked the interesting mechanics of the game and the visual style.
It's an interesting concept.
Comments above me seem to really like the game, and I kind of suspected this was a matter of personal taste before reading them so these thoughts might just be entirely from someone too far outside of your target (I typically only like puzzle games that feel more like a board games, turn based and not dependent on skill beyond figuring out how to do hte puzzle).
The puzzles started to feel a bit repetitive to me (I made it to the lava level, and ultimately, the design space around this felt well explored). Strategies evolved between focus on 1/2 when building stairs and make frozen guys every two spaces (trying that wouldn't get me more than 1 off for advancing).
I'm wondering if autounfreezing, limited number of unfreezes or time limits would make this feel a bit better (making a level of skill required that feels less arbitrary than the off by one issues I mentioned above where I'djsut do the same thing again and 1 more happened to survive).
Wow, really col game! I always love a good puzzle game and this is a clever one I haven't seen the core mechanic of before! Had a lot of fun solving each puzzle and the concept perfectly fits the theme! Love it, great job!

Nice game,very interesting plot!!!!Nice job!!!!
Very interesting concept, kind of reminds me of badland just with more control. The puzzles were unique but I wish the levels would get a bit more trickier later on as the comments mentioned the freeze units mechanic is very strong. Overall great job!
It's a very cool idea, but the static nature of the background certainly scared me.
