Artstyle is really unique, but I had problem with the turning speed.

Well done this definitely scores high on the humour rating! I had a heard time managing all of the controls, and the game took quite a while to load for me. It would have been nice to have seen more realistic levels, but that being said you've shown some good creativity with the enemies. Well done.
Finaly some real good music in a game. It also sets the right mood :). Turning with the arrow keys is a little bit weird? Why not use the mouse? I also got a bug on the levelloading on my second try, see screenshot below.
Graphics and 3D models are super cool! Bildschirmfoto 2021-04-28 um 08.34.35.png
**Bug Report** Mine seems to be stuck on the loading screen playing that sick guitar riff. I am attempting to play the HTML5 version on Firefox. I don't think it's simply a long loading time. It's been stuck like this for 10 minutes.
Yay nice, I love some Doom like from time to time.
Simple yet quite fun, wit very nice graphics and audio all around. Doesn't lag at all on my crapy old laptop with no graphic cards, good job.
A few things I noticed: - weapon choice is great, but shotgun felt a bit weak. - movement felt slow for a Doom like, and didn't help for the shotgun feeling. - I couldn't go past floor 3, the tree didn't trigger anything on this level. - Audio feedback of enemy getting hit would feel nice I think. - Shooter enemies continue shooting during their death animations.
Thanks for the game I had fun!
@scott-redrup @starrynitegames Thank you for your kind words. Generating map takes pretty long time, making the floor takes the most time. @y4nnick We wanted the game to feel like old doom/wolfenstein that's why we didn't want to use mouse at all. The level generating has some minor issues so that might happenn  But thanks for the reply
Nice game! It was fun running around hitting things with the machine gun and I thought the sound worked well. Great job!
Boomer shooter kino, cracked up at the death explosions. You should definitely flesh this out into a full game, I love it! Movement mechanics could use some work, but I love the aesthetics
@kovalok I got it loaded! I retried it on my Ubuntu laptop (still using Firefox) and the level loaded just fine. Windows 10 with Firefox is where I had the trouble earlier.
I always enjoy doom-style shooters, and this one was no different. I really dig the music! Excellent work. I noticed there appeared to be a copy of the level (same layout of walls) floating above the level I was playing on. Not sure what's up with that, but getting rid of it might improve performance.
Question for you. Was I fighting babushka's atop ushanka wearing bears?
@starrynitegames Good that you get it to work! The level above is actually the next level loading if you can find a big tree you can touch that and it should teleport you to the next level.
@doot There is version with super fast movement and other balance fixes too, which we are going to release after voting time has ended. I made balancing document for it in jam, but we did not have time to implement them. Also there is hit sound, sounds just are as unbalanced as everything else in this game and it gets drowned.
@starrynitegames You got babushka and Ushanka right, but forgot valenkis. Enemies are from my linocuts, based on both slavic and finnish mythology. https://www.artstation.com/jorma_rysky/albums/3238141

@jormarysky Thank you for the mythology lesson! I always love seeing this kind of cultural inspiration in games.
Loved the art style that embraces the absurd, the audio part does take some part into it too. It's a solid nod to Duke Nukem games. The loading kinda does feel that it takes forever, or crashed, but I think something should be moving on the loading screen to don't push people away thinking it has crashed, lol. Many symbolism amont the funny and moody parts, nice!
Killing bears while listening rock - cool !!!
haha, cool soundtrack)
nice old style gamelike :smirk:
Great music and beautiful art. Finnish name made me check out this game, and well... I´m not dissappointed. Amazing entry!
@monninen Even though it barely makes any sense. Buzzing Amphetamines - Sorrow Mountain. Was name we took from my dream.
Coold wolfenstein vibes. Nice art and good music. Controls where unusual but i figured it out.
Nice DOOM vibes! I really enjoyed this one, straight forward fun FPS action! Great work
Cool and fun mood, graphic where pretty weird in my opinion at start but I've liked them after few moment.
Love the doom feel! The music is great with its drums and guitar and the enemy designs are very cool and unique! The gameplay is a bit repetitive, I wish I had more of a variety of guns! And the run speed feels a bit sluggish but all and all, I had a fun experience and felt the power!
From what I played it seems like a good game. I liked the doom/wolfenstein 3d gameplay with actual 3d models. I honestly would have played more but I died and ended up in the main menu and had no intention of waiting for it to load again. I would have liked to be able to move and turn faster. Still, a really good entry with an excellent art and music style.
Here's some notes I took while playing: - Right-panned guitar in the menu made me think my headphones were broken. - Damn good music tho - Funny graphics - Turning with the arrow keys is really awkward. I know it's based on Doom but I'd have preferred the precision of using the mouse. - Having to hold down space for a bit before shooting got me confused for a bit. - Enemies take a second to despawn after their death animation plays, and they keep shooting. - Not sure if it's infinite or not, I just stopped after like 6 floors.
So this is a pretty fun game, if a little janky. The music and graphics were definitely the best part!
