Interesting game, but the intro was way too long and drawn out. Cute art style and nice music.

Having some problems, I downloaded the game and ran it, however when I enter the second room I cannot get up on to the ledge. I tried every key on my keyboard and also a controller, but nothing seems to make you jump.
Super creepy and atmospheric, love the hand drawn art style and story elements.
Great art style, audio, and mood - however I wasn't really sure how this game fit the theme of your life is currency, since it will only apply the theme in one situation where you choose your own life to save your daughter. Either than that - great work.
Interesting concept, the delay on jumping is a bit rough, and I wish the dragon had a bit more animation.
Wasn't very clear what I was supposed to do, but the sprites have some nice movement and the character is nice and chunky. :)
The hitboxes were a major problem for me, but the overall feel of the game is quite nice, player movement in particular was great. I also loved the hand painted textures with 3d art style. I was a little confused at first on what I was supposed to d, even after reading the instructions - but I was able to figure it out after dying a few times.
The audio doesn't leave enough clues to tell you that you're about to die or taking damage.
I had a lot of trouble using the grappling tongue mechanic and wish I was able to control it with my mouse - the arrow keys weren't working very well for me and I ended up frustrated I couldn't grapple how I wanted to. It also wasn't very clear what the theme of the game was, it seemed like you had hearts come of you when you jumped. Good luck on future jams!
Looks like a lot of effort went into the authentic game boy pixel art. Nice work man.
Solid gameplay systems with the upgrading and what not. I would try putting a bit more time into the UI.
