@kalabasa I liked it quite a bit, even though it was a simple concept for a game. Some sound effects or scores would have been a nice addidion. Good work.

The excellent color scheme and simple but effective graphics makes this game. The gameplay is very similar to the original missile command but gets difficult very fast. The cannons reload too slow imho. I like how the one closest to the target fires the missile and the second closest fires if the closest one is reloading. It really messes with the timing when firing!
A solid compo entry with a lot of potential. Well done!
I enjoyed the overall style and the missile-command type gameplay; I did find it difficult to anticipate which tower I was going to be using for my next shot, especially when the nearest tower was on cool down. It looks like it's sorted by nearest, but I wasn't able to anticipate it very well.
Overall I think it's solid, feels good and the concept/gameplay is easy to understand very quickly.
Solid entry! Graphics were really great and gameplay was smooth. I tried it a few times but I kept losing at about the same point (I think)
Feedback: A couple of small things you could add to make this better would be 1) A score counter for how many missiles I've destroyed. Right now I don't really have any incentive to play multiple times and I don't know if I'm getting better or worse. 2) Some way to let me know which base is going to be the one to fire. Simply changing the color of the base would likely do the trick.
I like the gameplay. Took me a second to realize where I click is where the missile will explode. At first I assumed it would explode when it hits something. Not sure if its just me but when I lost the game just sat there spawning enemies still instead of going to a gameover screen. Art all looks nice. Sounds effects would be nice too, but I know how it goes with jams never enough time.
Straight forward and easy to get into. I liked the graphics, but some meaty sound effects would have gone a long way to making this feel more finished.
Art looks very consistent, nice!
I think, an ability to slowly spin the planet with arrow keys will add more gameplay here. And upgrades for turrets, maybe. @kalabasa, what ideas for a more complex gameplay process do you have?
Thanks all!
@icxon I have planned more enemy types (like, stronger enemies, enemies with different trajectories and harder to predict movements) and missile types. And yes, upgrades. Resource management system, maybe? Build cities to earn money to buy upgrades. You know, all generic tower defense stuff.
I haven't really thought about spinning the planet. I can see it would add more gameplay without making it too complicated (as opposed to my ideas above, haha). Thanks for that idea!
Hmm, a boss-type enemy would be pretty interesting. Some kind of giant alien mothership that has weak points and spawns ships?
The art is beautiful, it gives a very good impression at first sight. You're right to say that the difficulty is too high, so we didn't play very long but we enjoyed it anyway. Good job on your compo ! We just rated it !
Great little game! Loved the look and the concept (360 missile command? Yes please.). I didn't feel like it got too hard too fast. In fact, without more content I wouldn't want it to go any slower as it would risk becoming predictable. Some more polish or enemies would be great. I notice some people are mentioning sound--if you don't already know it this is a fantastic tool for quick sfx: http://sfbgames.com/chiptone/
It's a very simple TD, but the graphics is cool. I missed a menu, or a guide. Good Job :)
Very solid graphics, I would have loved to have had the missile system be a tiny bit more intuitive. The system as was, I wasn't sure when the missile I fired would self destruct, or if it would fire a new missile. I did enjoy the concept, and the art is great!
Nice little game. I really liked the colors of the planet. The shooting is not hard after you get the hang of it. I missed some sound and score.
Pretty good! Needs sound, but otherwise quite solid. Add a few different enemy types for variety, and it'd be sweet!
