Cute germs! I have a lot of fun!
Loved the music, very suiting. Nailed the theme with the very small world.
Congrats to this cute little game. The music and sfx are nice and "playing a microscope" is an interesting premise. It wasn't really challenging, however, to find all germs.
I was interested in playing this one as we'd had a similar idea of small world via the microscope! (But very different game!) This was a LOT of fun - really enjoyed playing. Easy to pick up - but hard to find the right germs - some are so similar! The only downside - I had to turn off the audio after a while - it became a bit repetitive! Overall - a great game.
Very nice game. Good use of the theme, and a great intuitive gameplay. One thing you might want to change is the click detection, as it happened to me twice that a bigger germ overlapped the target germ with a transparent area. But very good entry!
A nice little game. Fun graphics and audio and it is a good take on the theme. The game is easy to understand and play, but is very basic and doesn't offer much replay-ability. I think maybe a countdown timer rather than a count up timer would make the game feel more fun, so instead of seeing how fast you can find the germs you have to find them within a certain amount of time. Overall a fun little game.
I feel like a lot of time was spent on music and art, which came out great, but I am personally more interested in what kind of game play people can come up with in time limit. While I applaud your efforts all the game does is look around and then you click a germ. Not sure why there is a timer since I am guessing the germs are randomized so what skill am I being timed against? The idea of looked down into a microscope was executed better here than any other game of this style I have played for LD38 but there is just nothing to do.
Would be nice if the "world" stayed the same after I've found something, so there would be a benefit in sort-of remembering germs I've already seen. At first I was trying to match the size, that was a bit confusing. But don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good thing the size doesn't always match.
Really nice work on the germs graphics by the way.
Enjoyable game with nice graphics and feel. :)
A very good game for only 10 hours of development. It's cute. I would have liked the microscope to be bigger, however. I understand that you're trying to make this world seem small, but the mere fact that we're seeing these bacterium is good enough. It would be nicer to see more on the screen and have less whitespace.
You don“t see that this game was made in only 10 hours. Nice calm sound and cute graphics. 6/5 stars on the theme :-)
Love this game, really well done for just 10h! Found the idea pretty novel, and has really cute sound and graphics to boot. Great job!
Simple but fun, nice graphics and music. The only thing I thought about was the timer, it doesn't really have to show split seconds, but that is really not a problem. Well done for 10 hours! :D
Nice job! I liked how a lot of the germs looked similar to one another.
that was actually pretty cute, with the sound effects and all of the germs having goofy little faces. played it to completion in 240s or so.
Really well put together!
Nice polish!
Great variety of art and cute music!
:microscope:
Nice complete experience with a cohesive art style, impressive for 10 hours. Not a lot of challenge or replay interest in the gameplay though.
Gotta love a timelapse. :)
Very solid little game. You really did an impressive job, considering you only put 10 hours in!
I loved the graphics: the microbe were very cute. I like that you didn't simply recolored and flipped everything: there were many little detail that changed from one microbe to another (like the eyes). Music and sound effect were good too.
Overall, the game felt very complete polished, so again: amazing for a 10-hour game. I'm curious to see what you can do with some more time!
Nice little game -- not bad for 10 hours!
I enjoyed the graphics quite a bit, there is a very large amount of variety and a good number which look kinda similar enough that I would want to click on them. In terms of mechanics I would vary the speeds of the germs and I feel clicking on an incorrect one should give a time penalty.
Sorry, but I can't download your game, the error message is 'Server not found'.
I wanted to play and judge your game because you played/judged mine but like feips said it gives an error. Please fix it.
@kleinzach @siegfriedcroes Sorry for the broken link, my domain has expired. I've moved my game to itch.io, please try again, thanks. :persevere:
Nice game! We made a game with a microscope too :) Your previous games all look awesome as well.
Well executed, although a bit repetitive. It could have used a few other mechanics to mix things up. Nice job!
Very nice game. I like the artwork and the time lapse of the development. Keep the good work.
