I'm not really into grand strategy games but that doesn't mean I'm not impressed as heck. great concept too.
@andrfw yeah, the key part is a bit finnicky but we didn't want to upload a post-jam build just for that.
thanks for playing!
@arch-a-type back in development it was possible to fling items into stable orbits... you wouldn't get them back ever again. which was really funny if it weren't that you lost the game that way.

very nostalgic Venture-like graphics worked great for this.
having the camera zoom in on you also felt pretty claustrophobic, in a good way.
I don't know why but I love that the astronaut is just a regular turtle. I also really like that you used the sun as a sort of time limit!
I was going to comment on the cactus blocks looking almost the same as regular blocks but it seems it's a rendering issue, and the player hitbox seems weird too sometimes. sideways platforming is a really fun challenge though.
I was sold by the dynamic music. good vfx too, nice job
EXCELLENT concept, I would love to see a polished version. this is seriously got all the things I love.
scorched cats! audio was simple but fitting, and the weapon selection was good.
I wasn't expecting to see many graphic adventures, much less throwbacks to old lucasarts games. very nice work.

trying to rate but GameJolt has been very wonky these last few days, I don't think I'm the only one judging by other comments
spinning the plate backwards makes it go really fast instead. after a while the ovens flame effect stopped working.
other than that it was enjoyable. the treadmill minigame definitely needs something more to it though!
jumping on one side of the planet to make something happen on the other side is an interesting mechanic, I think you could do a lot more with it.
this is very technically impressive considering it's your own engine, good work.
with proper balance this could be pretty enjoyable as a mobile game. just improve balance and slow down the gameplay enough that you only have to check on your world a few times a day.
5 levels in I still couldn't get used to the controls, mentally mapping the keyboard buttons to six directions was pretty challenging. I think clicking would've suited it better, since moving quickly isn't very important
that said I enjoyed the puzzles and it was relaxing with some background music added. good work
reminded me intensely of a game I used to play as a kid and that's a good thing
that was very enjoyable and played it to completion. the tutorial was also very good. simple but polished game, really great job.
cute character and cute particle effects :ok_hand:
ok I won't lie, the rapid fire powerup gave me a laugh. it came in at just the right time and I was like *I HAVE THE POWER*
the cute music looping seamlessly also made it very enjoyable. great work.
very knytty. the beanstalk idea is pretty nice, a different powerup could let you throw the seeds instead of planting them at your feet, maybe to solve puzzles.
good work, I had a chill time.
I got to play 2P for a little while and it was pretty fun. simple couch games with friends have always been a blast.
graphics need a little polish, but that's it.
