Very impressive for a 3 day game!

Very impressive for a 3 day game!
thank you @nbilyk
Very cute! Funnily enough, the ad that showed before me playing was a microwave dinner :P. The controls were a little frustrating, in particular the first micron in charge of turning the popcorn. Being that they moves so slow, it was hard to catch up to how fast the popcorn was spinning, and was hard to tell what direction I was running in.
I love the concept though, I can imagine this sort of game in all kinds of appliances!
Very good 3D graphics achieved in just 3 days. I really like the theme of your game, it's pretty funny!. By the way, controls are hard while you try to move the caracter to any direction.
Thank you @this-gooch and @furazin, I'm glad you had fun playing the game! The controls really need some adjust, maybe if we had more time.
For some reason games hosted on GameJolt take forever to start here, and it lags a lot.
Nice concept and art. The music also fits the comedy mood.
The only problem are the controls, it feels like Superman 64 "car" controls :laughing: Idk if it is part of the gameplay to make it harder or something like that, but it is really unnerving to control characters like that, haha.
Good job, it is a lot in 3 days. Adjusting details like controls and difficulty (aka polishing) is always the part that takes longer and usually doesn't fit into a tiny window of a jam. :smiley:
Heey.... Wait a minute... Você é brasileiro, também, po? Estúdio Cafofo, haha
Nice idea. 3D graphics are very polished as for that short amount of time. As it was said before controls aren't very intuitive, but it was still very enjoyable.
Love the idea and the creativity for those small minions.
Thank you @meronsoda, @piotrek and @siryakko
@meronsoda, considero o Estúdio Cafofo um dos melhores do Brasil! Sorte minha ter o Henrique como amigo :)
Kind of hard to control because of the perspective but still really enjoyable. The visuals are great too.
The bugs you reported in my game were patched. Thank you for dedicating some time to my prototype.
For some reason, I couldn't play the game anyway on my browsers (chrome and mozilla), I don't know what happened, but I'm having the same problem in all the web games posted on Gamejolt... Can you make a windows build, or something like this? I really wanna play your game, I'm very curious about them, and the graphics looks awesome!
Thanks! :D
Hi @unidaystudio, I added a windows build at GameJolt page, check it out!
Nice graphics. But the character control kills me. Can have a control style like unity's standard assets' third person character controller?
Oh so that's how microwaves work I've always wondered...My biggest complaint is the controls. They are not very intuitive and made more awkward since the camera is fixed. Love the concept you guys nailed the theme without having a planet.
Hi @fangzhangmnm and @those-30-ninjas, Thank you for your comment! I really should worked more on the controls. While I was creating the game I got used to the controls and forgot to change it
A very fun idea, but the difficulty level is a bit to high for me. But overall this is a very well made game.
Fun idea but it is rather difficult to achieve. I agree with @aumbra that it may be related to the perspective. bravo !
Amazing innovative game!! The only frustrating thing was the red dude would not place his fuel in the ovens in webgl. The other two guys worked fine.
thank you for your comment @la-mecanique-du-plastique and @mwcz! Unfortunely I didn't have time to fix bugs during the jam, and I didn't work on the game after.
I'm thinking in port this game to mobile, maybe with touch the controls will be more intuitive and easy.

trying to rate but GameJolt has been very wonky these last few days, I don't think I'm the only one judging by other comments
Hi @pikopik, I put the windows build in my Google Drive, please, give me another chance to play my game! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_Gcg7p6zBhBR2FmRDVmNWt0cEU/view?usp=sharing
4:14... man that was fun and stressful all at the same time haha. The Micron on the bottom was the hardest for me to control but what a solid game! Great job!
ahaha, I loved the concept :smile:
I played this on Livestream this afternoon as requested by the Developer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekGMbpHGKUE
This was pretty good, I had fun with it and for some reason it was pushing the same frantic buttons that FNaF pushes (Without the jumpscares, obviously), though I found the controls very difficult to master. I had more comments in the stream.
Hi @codechomper, @mikea and @occultone. Thank you for playing!
spinning the plate backwards makes it go really fast instead. after a while the ovens flame effect stopped working.
other than that it was enjoyable. the treadmill minigame definitely needs something more to it though!
I really like the idea, and the graphics are very nice. Kinda weird that the blue and yellow meters took no time to fill up compared to the red one.. But other than its really cool. Very impressive!
Oh my god I’m so stressed out after playing this! Poor microns, I’ll remember you next time I microwave some popcorn. I liked the game on most parts, except for the tank controls. I just couldn’t get the little guys to go where I wanted them to go. Hope that was intentional:)
The idea is original ! I like it. But the controls are very bad.
You can use this method to create a direction vector based on the direction of the camera. You will see the controls will be much better :
```
Vector3 getMoveDirection() { // return new Vector3(Input.GetAxis("Horizontal"), 0, Input.GetAxis("Vertical")); float h = CrossPlatformInputManager.GetAxis("Horizontal"); float v = CrossPlatformInputManager.GetAxis("Vertical"); Vector3 m_CamForward = Vector3.Scale(Camera.main.transform.forward, new Vector3(1, 0, 1)).normalized; return v * m_CamForward + h * Camera.main.transform.right; }
```
Hi @pikopik, @hjalte, @tuomo and @piller-yann thank you for the comments! The controls really need some adjustments. I'll try this code, @piller-yann, it'll be very usefull! I didn't have time to fix bugs and balance the game during and after the jam, but I'm thinking in port this game to mobile, so I'll fix and change a lot of things in it!
Really cool take on the theme. I liked the concept, but found the controls to make it too difficult to enjoy.
Art style was fantastic (I loved the grime on the microwave as well the character animations), music really fit the tone and was a lot of fun. I think with some work to bring the gameplay up to the same level of quality this could be a fun game. Good work!
