Oh my, so much worms memories :') Nice game, it was a really tough one to do in a jam. Really nice work with the weapons, they work great

Great idea, and love the local multiplayer ability. I enjoyed seeing the different weapons in action, and I always am excited about procedurally generated worlds. I wish the movement was more limited to keep the first player from having a large advantage and to keep the aim mechanic most important. I also would love to have a slightly better AI, as mine killed himself more often than I killed him. However, great job for so little time, and thanks for your game!

Loved the concept, even though the game looks simple you sure have put in a lot of time to make the movement and the weapons work properly, as a result the game plays really smooth! The only things that bug me are the graphics and the AI which is prone to killing himself unless you are standing right in front of him! Overall, great game, fun to play but would love to see it more polished in the future!

A fun little worms like game. The music is good. The graphics is okay, but could have been better. Overall a fun and easy to understand LD game.

Neat game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/NY55jLVxX30), if you’d like to take a look :)

A really cool "Worms"-game! I love the fact that you can play local multiplayer, we need more of that in games in general. It's very nice that there are so many different weapons and the destructable terrain is super cool. Combine that with the fact that the levels are randomly generated and that there is an AI and I am very impressed over how you managed to fit all of that in such a short amount of time.

Very nice entry.. But its cats so it is actually a...SUPER AWESOME ENTRY!

It was a decent worms-like game, I think the gameplay was a little simplistic, I would have liked to see more variety in what you can do, maybe more weapon choices or some depth to the strategy.

It is so funny)) And I like the graphis! But why the button Exit is bigger than to start?)

Playing the game and scrolling through the comments, there is one thing that hasn't been mentioned yet.

If you switch turns, can there be an indicator that the next person has to go?

It's a simple UX thing, but it would make it a lot better. It took a little while for me and my roommate to figure out whose turn it was.

Cool little take on worms. All the little details are there. I like that I can control both the angle and amount of power I put into my shots. Explosiohns are good. And hey - cats!

It's really impressive to come up with something similar to worms in the short time allowed for a game jam. The controls for the game felt a little off somehow, perhaps due to the pixel-based platforms instead of using vector shapes? Additionally, the weapons were a little imbalanced. Also, I nuked myself next to the enemy cat and only I died, that's not fair at all!

mortus 2017-05-06 13:16

I have no idea what worms are everyone talking about, but it kinda reminds me of scorched earth... But it's cats so that's okay.

Seriously though, it's quite nice, but I don't think that giving infinite walking is a good idea, because you can just come near the enemy and nuke him. Anyway, it's nice to see a game with destructible landscape made in such a short time, good job!

I played single player mode - it was fun. Who doesn't like cat games? Simple graphics - but complex enough gameplay to keep your interest. Nice work!

Cool! Gameplay is solid, I'm impressed with how the terrain destruction works. One thing to improve might be some sort of different controls for shooting - it took me a few tries (of blowing myself up) to figure out that I had to hold the button down. Maybe a single click to toggle it? Regardless, nice work!

Nice challenge for a game jam! :D

I played single player and it stayed quite fun! There has just been a single problem and it is that as soon as I spawned, I was in the water and died immediately ahah I think a small indication when the turn changes would be nice, because in multi player mode the change is seamless and you can't really know whose turn it is just by looking at the screen.

scorched cats! audio was simple but fitting, and the weapon selection was good.

lord-bobyness 2017-05-13 00:06

I'm a big fan of the worms games, and since this is basically worms with cats, it's no surprise that I loved this entry. I couldn't tell what all the weapons were supposed to be, but did like the variance in their behaviors. As has been pointed out, the AI was crap, but it was fun in multiplayer, so that's quite alright :)

Being able to move makes everywhere makes it too easy (I could win on the first turn). So I restricted my own movement to only jumping, then got to see the rather fun and amusing artillery game that is IB-BICSIO!

internetpaulicy 2017-05-13 13:06

This one of the most cheery entries I have seen so far. Its so up-beat, I love it. The only thing that bothered me was the camera jumping to the next player, its just a little disorienting. Great job on the music and the fun pixelated art. Good show!

mordokay 2017-05-13 15:04

As someone who loves Worms this is awesome!!! I am amazed you managed to put the A.I. working. The graphics are simple and the procedural generation helped a lot with the replayability value. The music fits well with the game and the fact that its cats throwing fish to one another makes it hilarious :P... good job!

drkr 2017-05-14 05:03

Really nice work with AI and terrain destruction, really cool concept, audio was a bit hard on the ears at times but overall it fit.
