Pretty cool! A good concept and good game.

Pretty cool! A good concept and good game.
Best score 69. Cool!
Cool! I laughed playing this. Are the pigs... farting?
Civilization? Cool theme use. Growing... nations. I could use this myself. Extra * for graphics thanks to the pixels. What? Graphics is evolving!
Mediocre. Maybe the graphics should be better?
Cool. Is there something to do after getting Endless Jumpshot?
Cool. Found the secret ending! Make it longer! Bosses maybe? I will buy it on Steam.
Cool, but what with two button controls and growing? No themes?
nope, after the Win3.1 era the game grows in scale and you get "Ability to Die" in 20th year/as 20th chest.
Have you seen an Easter Egg? Take the advancement number (the green one), count the years from 1981 and compare with your title screen. The advancement number is the game's age in years.
And yeah, it's the SAME game from the DOS era up to the fourth episode. And we can say that the fangame is also made on the original game's engine :) so they are all the same games, indeed.
And also, the TruttCo. mystery will be revealed in a post-jam DLC, so watch out!
Boring. No two button controls, but Growing theme is creatively used.
Tough, but fun. Played the web version, the Hard difficulty should be Insane. Only that isometric camera :(
Interesting idea.
Somewhat fun, but lacking in features. Maybe lumberjacks with explosives, fruits...
Cool.
Prettygood good. Even though I hate flash games for their cheapness, I played this one for a long long time :-)
Cool use of the theme. Very innovative, but not fun. I love that vector style. Please opt out of humor if there aren't any jokes in the game.
A pretty good take on Mega Man! Capcom, please make a game where Megaman LOSES powers to the masters... it would be cool. The game was very cool, and the theme was used perfectly - it was fun to switch between the spirits! Graphics are the best I've seen in Pico8 games, but the game is pretty much lacking in the audio department.
Pretty cool game. Cool use of the theme. VERY VERY FUN while it lasted. How about more levels and a Steam release? Maybe add more powers, like shooting up and down, or a bomb shot, or enemies? Graphics aren't bad, but that "charm" just isn't there. Audio. Oh my ears. You added a pretty repetitive song. Thanks god that the game was pretty short. Humor - nothing special. Mood - if you want to make it look like retro - you've almost nailed it, only that repetitive song should be swapped for something 8-bit. I recommend learning Famitracker.
Very cool game, except for that ear-raping "song". Clever theme use, pretty good gameplay (I'm replaying it second time!) and graphics (were they inspired by the official NES Tetris? blocks look pretty similar) THAT (I want to swear but maybe there's children here) "song" made my eardrums explode.
Simple and good
Didnt expect to see a text game here.
Cool! Funny, cool graphics, the song isn't bad. Lots of toilet humor.
Shooting works only when the appropriate turret isn't obstructed by blocks.
Thanks for all ratings and I'm happy that I'm #75 in Audio! Next time I will be the first!
Oh, I see you stole the idea from Yoshi's Cookie. But your theft is pretty playable and fun! Maybe not so beautiful, but playable!
Shapeshifting never was so fun!
Very good game, albeit lacking in audio department.
5 points for VR.
What the f**k. Really bad. Really. At least there were laughable moments. A lot of them. Like glitches.
Wow. Cool theme use.
Hey! It's a really nice game! totally like the later gameboy capcom games that I loved to play (Mega Man V!) That tune could be a wily castle tune :P
why it's so damn hard :P really nice "Papers, Please" vibe. I tampered the messages and got arrested.
Really nice puzzle game!
Why Pegasus carts? more people abroad are more familiar with NES carts (gray) or famicom carts (square corners). I see that's not the "original IQ-502" pegasus btw, it's a Polystation :) Oh, and the "put coal into atari" part seems to be inspired by that one module that I can't find on internets. Oh, and I never had to swap a stack of floppies (mostly 2-3) except for Win3.1 that had 11! Great work on the game! Loved Computer is Fine, loved Karczoch, loved this. Crazy gameplay mechanics!!!
oh! you also did a pico-8 game. nice simple gameplay, somewhat ugly graphics and nice tunes. oh, and I did that "getting started" FAQ for my game :)
What a nice twist on Scorched Earth! oh and it's from Poland :) loved the game
A very nice game! Sadly an "escape the room" usage of the One Room theme is nothing new, so 3 stars for innovation and theme. But it was VERY fun! 5 stars for that!
Oh my god. that's why people like you shouldn't make games. was trying to run it for like a hour. didn't get anything epic, just a boring little game with ugly graphics.
A nice little game! Would play this as a Steam game if it was sold there.
Really fun game! Great voxel graphics. Kinda missing the background music sadly.
meg,
Overall: 4/5. A very good game.
Innovation: 4/5. For the metagame.
Fun: 5/5. Played 4 rounds.
Theme: 5/5, only for the meta theme usage.
Graphics: 5/5, very nice isometric pixel art.
Audio: 3/5, song is pretty short.
Humor and Mood: N/A cause I'm bad at rating those.
Loved painting my world! Very nice idea, done very well!
It was pretty fun to play this nice little game. Had a lot of fun growing plants! VR has a lot of potential, but now it's sadly just a toy.
Oh hey! nice game, but I hated that mouse movement. 3 stars for fun because half of the game was fucking with the controls.
Woah! this might be the best game that I've played from LD37! Maybe even better than Violent Room. Perfectly balanced puzzle, audio and art fit together nicely... Perfect!
Boring.
another chatroom game on this jam. not as fun as OneRoom sadly.
that's why I love arcade styled games. Nice song, but gets old pretty quickly.
Very nice! why I've never seen this made earlier is a mystery.
Hell is what I see! a surveillance cam game? like, you're in the one room but watch others with a cam? why Five Nights At Freddy's wasn't done in this jam?
Seems to be the best game on this jam!
Hey, nice! 2/5 for graphics because you stole the font from Minecraft.
Danman,
Overall: a very nice game with a very nice twist on the theme.
Innovation: I didn't see a game based on chatting in a chatroom. 5/5. Perfect!
Theme: 5/5 for a very nice twist on the theme.
Graphics: 5/5. Simple and fitting. Each "user" has its own graphics style, so another point for you!
Audio: Chatroom sounds are nice, but games could use a bit of sound.
Mood: Hey, you nailed this perfectly! And that virus file at the end. (spoiler: <3.exe) 5/5
Nice idea, but underused a lot. you could make more with this
well, great game. loved driving the car! Felt a bit like Micro Machines!
Smells like Flash. Nice concept.
Loving this! Best pixelart I've ever seen.
Am I mistaken, or are you the Gradius designer in disguise?
That was a really nice game. If you will lose, it will be a shame.
Well, a CMD game is nice. but please opt out from graphics next time, because, yeah, everything is clear, but it's just freakin' text. It was really fun though!
Somnium,
Overall: 4/5. A very nice game.
Innovation: 5/5. The best twist on the theme I've ever seen. Oh, and it's an idle game!
Fun: 4/5. Watching the workers disturb each other was fun. What about a fast-forward control?
Theme: 5/5. Like I said, a really good twist.
Graphics: 4/5. Simple and clean.
Humor: N/A. I'm bad at rating humor in games.
Mood: 4/5. One room office disturbancies nailed perfectly.
Oh. A This is The Only Level clone. It was bound to happen. But it was a nice TiTOL clone! Shame it's so short. You had 3 days.
Went autoplay since I couldn't complete it myself. A nice twist on the theme. Oh, and audio gets another track on each arrow key section.
Hey, nice! It was fun to play it! Too easy for me.
Really nice game with couch multiplayer potential!
Nice little game! Sadly your font is too high definition compared to the (VERY NICE) art
Nice little game referencing Crash Bandicoot! Was this made in Construct 2? Feels like it is.
Nice game with nice pixelart!
Nice little artgame!
the entire game looks like shit. the song is a half-assed midi. but it's the BEST FUCKIN' KUSOGE I've ever played. if this was a real serious game, I would give you one star for everything. but that shit was well-shitted and polished. 5 stars for everything except the theme.
Nice game! Felt a bit lacking, but idea is very nice!
Quaternius,
Overall: 4/5. Very nice Tamagotchi/virtual pet game.
Innovation: 2/5. Tamagotchi is overused in game jams a lot, you didn't discover America.
Fun: 4/5. Like I said, a very nice Tamagotchi game. I survived 10 days.
Theme: 3/5. You could do more with the "One Room" theme.
Graphics: 2/5. Would be 4/5 if you didn't rip the font from Tetris on Gameboy.
Audio: 5/5. It's like Cheetahmen 2. It could fit in a better game.
Humor: N/A cause I'm bad at rating humor.
Mood: 4/5 because I feel like it.
@Quaternius - The font in your link and the Tetris one are 100% the same. Still, if you were going for compo, you were supposed to make your own fonts or use common ones like Arial
Oh, someone made a NES game. Innovation points for the idea of making a NES game. Sadly, it was tedious all because of the hero's speed. Theme also is badly used. Nice graphics. Have that 4/5 overall.
Oh how nice! not too new (TiTOL did this earlier) but still very fun!
Just a platformer without any personality. Mediocre, next game please!
I rarely see UE4 games, maybe because they are hard to make. That one was pretty nice and addicting! Liked the gfx & audio. It's too slow at the beginning for me, but it's an okay game!
Not bad! One of better 2D Minecraft clones. Loved the graphics. Really fun. Sadly, still a Minecraft clone.
Nailed the Dizzy feeling! Thanks dude, I just replayed Wonderland Dizzy.
Wow. A really unexpected take on the theme. Loved the dark humor. Almost perfect. The graphics (pixelart) also look nice. A pretty good game.
Cool game! Love the theme usage and the humor.
Well, we have a winner here. Perfect. Loved the gfx style.
(based on the video, couldn't compile it) The gameplay is pretty nice from what I can see. 3/5 for audio & gfx because a lot of things clash, like pixel sprites with a HD planet. The music clashed with sfx a bit. Still, a pretty good game. Seen worse.
Woah. A winner for me. The game has some awesome art. Also the audio was pretty nice. The game can use some levels, boss rush was awesome, but I really want to play some stages!
Fun game! The audio clashed but I actually liked it. Why I can't rate you on humor?
For the little part of gameplay that you did, this deserves 4/5. Waiting for the full post-jam version.
Game is pretty fun, but gfx are pretty bad. God, the standard Unity assets. Please. Also I wasn't impressed by the music. Overall, a mediocre game.
why i can't rate graphics
graphics are the best part of this game
well gameplay also was fun
but graphics are the best part of this indie experience
loved everything
it's a great game
pixelart is very lovely
waiting for your next game
fun but ugly. i didn't like the graphics (just ugly) and the music (it was good, just not my taste), however I liked the gameplay. I had some issues with UI but the game is good.
a perfect concept. a perfect game. a perfect execution.
wow, someone made a 3D game. I love everything about this game, especially the low-poly graphics.
not that great theme usage
just your standard fare platform game
but it's an awesome and fun standard fare platform game
i love the theme usage
i love the gameplay
i love the fact that no one used the theme like you did
but by checking that "rate graphics" box you ask us to give you one star
even i can draw better
i loved this walking simulator
that's not how I see a dying computer though
my vision is of a blue screen
and the computer loops a half second loop of some random sound
it's missing from here
woah. we have a winner
awesome graphics, awesome music, feeling like those 16-bit rpgs, especially lagrange point or some other sci-fi stuff
even though this is early access, it feels like a complete, finished episode of some episodical game
i would gladly pay you for this
but i want to buy payroll and that game that brentalfloss does the music for
also: came here from itch.io's recommended games
Good for a 3 hour game. Art is decent, and it's a decent variation of Tetris.
Good for a 3 hour game. Art is decent, and it's a decent variation of Tetris.
Good for a 3 hour game. Art is decent, and it's a decent variation of Tetris.
A decent game, great art, but didn't like the humor.
Loved the narrative, loved graphics, loved music, loved everything. There can be only a single winner, your game is as good as Sofamino and if I was the only judge I would have a problem which one to choose for the first place!
Awesome. Played it for a while, my winner for this jam!
Fun game, feels like Super Smash Bros. but with Animaniacs :)
oh my god, that looked ugly. The mechanics are fun though!
A fun typing game! Played it with all 3 characters and it was a really fun experience! You should make it a bit easier though because I can't reach the end.
Decent little puzzle thing. A bit hard, couldn't win it :P Looks and sounds good enough for an LD game.
Totally like Dig Dug 2. Would play again.
A fun game with decent art. Liked it!
A decent game. wrote this because I needed to :| let me stop with all those comments
okay, this mechanic was a lot of fun but I've seen it used earlier before so it's nothing new to me. The graphics were plain ugly, no shading, audio was pretty generic too. Nothing spectacular, but... good job on finishing your first game jam game I guess?
Great mechanics, great graphics, great audio.
Loved the experience. Nice graphics. Nice music too (sarcasm, there's no music but it actually was better to focus on the puzzles without it)
Definitive winner for me for this LD! Also, the scoring is broken for me too but I had so much fun I didn't even care.
Loved this. Watched on stream and rated, didn't play. The title theme is awesome, and the art is just perfect.
@jeremia the amount depends on: - your car's speed - other car's speed (if colliding with a car) - whether the other car takes damage after hitting you - whether hitting a car or a different object (hitting cars also subtracts from the insurance in addition to adding to it) - taken damage by the objects (basically a random number from 1 to 100 * average speed of the colliding objects)
@elmos-minion @attala fun fact, I wasn't attempting to be funny  i just tried to invent the most crazy game idea possible
@goerp As far as I know, tiny bug-fixes are allowed. I precisely said what was changed from the jam build - realigning the benches and fixing HP still regenerating after crash timer goes zero.
"Certain Bug Fixes are allowed. You can’t add new features, but if something broke or didn’t work correctly as you were finishing up, you can fix this after the deadline. You are asked to highlight the changes you make in your submission (a short change log). You probably wont get a 2nd chance with some players, but at least it wont be a problem for future players."
The application was probably DirectPlay, and it's not included in Windows 8 and higher. It's only needed if a legacy Game Maker 8.1 game uses network support, which this does not, so it launched.
And no, you can't enter the tunnels.
Also, I supplied two earlier betas you can try.
Totally awesome. Feels kinda other space games similar to this, like Galaxy on Fire or Star Wars or something, but it doesn't matter when the game's so great!
Awesome game! Perfect art and perfect music! Good job, I think you will win!
The art style is so different in game and in the cutscene. The game is absolutely perfect!
Woah, really nice! Some puzzles were too hard, though.
Oh yeah. Awesome music and graphics, and a great concept. Feels really polished.
Not that fun, innovative and following the theme at all.
You really wanted me to treat this like another shitty RPG Maker game by using those overused assets, you know? Thank me I actually played the thing and watched it streamed and I found that it has some nice mechanics and really nice story. This would really be better with some custom assets!
OOH A REAL NES GAME. This was a really decent idea and I love you made an actual NES game. Awesome music and graphics! Good job!
Had me laugh for a while because of the "quality". It's so bad that it's good :stuck_out_tongue:
I didn't know how to use the grapple hook. (you really should indicate that the mouse also plays a role here, crosshair maybe?) After I learned how to use the grappling hook, I hit 212 souls. Nice graphics and totally awesome music I can't rate. (would give a 5!) Would gladly see a full game based on this grappling hook concept.
