I'm in the same time zone than you, solution:"orange juice!"
Is it possible to finish?
Or is this some sorte of moral: "You will not be able to sleep on ludum dare, MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → gaspard
I'm in the same time zone than you, solution:"orange juice!"
Is it possible to finish?
Or is this some sorte of moral: "You will not be able to sleep on ludum dare, MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Could you make it playable with arrow keys?
Kinda got a french keyboard...
Would like to try your game.
Sound effects get annoying...
But it's cool!
Liked it!
However I get a small glitch:
The soul always starts moving(when I click) in the last direction where I lost(I fall of the plateforme right, when i restart, it goes right).
Aside from that it was good!
Even though it's obviously unfinished, it's fun!
Loved the Gameplay!
However the theme didn't seem very integrated...
Any plans for this game?
This seems timeless...
love it!
Like the white&black art!
Some levels really are hard!
I love how you can just leave your king in check or even go like "Suicide time!"...
Cool, could you bleep out some content?
My little sister asket what a "s** t**" is...
Aside that it was Hilarious!
Awesome!Rooms with ennemis seem a bit pointless though.
The fact that going to the shop doesn't stop the time is kind of annoying...
But it's pretty nice in a weird sort of way!
As everyone said Hard&Fun!
I found the concept very interesting, took a while to figure however that you could "use" your ennemis shots, but that just made it better!
Short and sweet, cool graphics!
Good game!
My challenge was the controls: can you allow arrow keys in the next game you make?
Liked the graphics, but gameplay is a bit empty...
Nice Game over message!
Stupid ennemies that don't even fly while they can, I used that alot!
Yeah it was hard, and I didn't care about that at all to!
Nice idea!
Download problem: I get a .rar file, allthough you said it was in java..
May also be my lack of knowledge.
I've got a french keyboard, and some letters seem to not work!
and that guy nas very short nerves...
Got it after the third try!
It's cool how you have to use the terrain!
Could be clearer but I eventually understood how it worked!
Glitchy, but cool to! Didn't get the use for the third dimension however...
The idea is great, however packs are not long enough...
Just when you start to get it , the pack is over :(
I like the idea!
Could be executed better though...
Little short,to easy, and striking the double points pretty much takes more time to achieve than to just shoot two targets...
Zap's idea sounds cool, do a post compo!
I liked this game, and managed after several atempts to reach the level with all the high-hp bosses, which was where I got mauled!
Good for only two hours!
I wonder what you would have done under other circumstances...
same as above...
Liked the boom asset!
To bad it's unfinished... just in case, did you put a fps limiter? For me it goes extreeeemly fast!
At first I didnt manage a thing , until I took the lock,
Pretty ironic that taking the lock and staying in a square is better than running around like a freak...
Cool Idea, but opponents all stack up and seem like one.
Good!
This was fun and fast passed, as well as confusing!
Loved the upgrades!
The "next wave in ten" however seems really unimportant, but whatever: nice graphics!
I like it, as I love mazes,
For me the random generation made the mazes sometimes realy hard or realy easy...
But nice controls anyway!
Didn't work, just didn't start(It doesn't even look like the process started running, or windows doesn't show that process...)
Cool game mecanics!Where's the theme though?
Once I understood you could suprise a guard, the game was Cool!
This depicts some situation one can imagine,
the gameplay is cool, but you should have less chance to make an ally with an allready ennemy planet than with a neutral planet...
But it's still Awesome!
I like the idea, but somehow, I'm either incredibly lucky or incredibly unlucky... maybe make you never get twice the same bomb comming from the same side? Also would be cool if you started with more pieces, because the first bombs are mostly luck.
Great neverless!
same as above.
I'll remove the Web link until it's fixed.
Balooga03:I really suck at drawing, don't I?
Latcarf:That's lag,I tested it on several machines but I don't remember having such a strong lag...
Sorry, the applet is broken, but I don't know how to remove it from the site...
However the ten second theme is the swords, every ten seconds bonus=combo*20 and the swords ability usually depends on the bonus.
Also, just fixed a bug: The game won't stop at the elk's anymore.
@MadcoreTom,Kragnir:I would have added Imunity if I had time...
*Spoiler*:Killing axe orc: when they parry(they jump back and parry when you parry, and sometimes when you attack..), jump above them with space and get-em in the back...or get em in the air thanks to the 2nd swords lag abillity!
Crocks Kill instantly in your back,so equipe 3rd sword wait for the ten second bonus and follow the wave killing the stunned crocos easy!
haxpor: thanks :), it was made in a rush though, I could have made it less repetitive(only 6 min of music with 3 times the same theme...).
@murilo The first ten seconds there are no mobs...
(the backround is scrolls so it may have been the speed your percieving)
@Sheep The backround was only made for that reason and the mood, and yeah, I didn't implement all my ideas in the gameplay :( , at the same time , some people allready say it's confusing!
Should have made a tutorial, oh well, next time...
Great! Love how you create your own level by your actions,
also fun to see how all rewinds...
Same as above.
Managed to beat the 2 first mob after the 7th try, just to become the third encounter's food...
I like the pixelish graphics!
Good music, but the game slowly gets boring, you could perhaps introduce the differente things(spikes, rockets) over time...
like every 10 seconds!
What the H***?
Ok, fun game.
Funny concept!
So our ninja hacks everything right?
Why didn't he just hack the game to instantly win?
Oh, he can only win every ten seconds? To bad...
It's a bit to much "oh that walls fake", somehow you just end up testing all the walls.
Aside from that the idea is good!
Leptons eh?
Not sure that that the universe started exactly as you said,
or I just read to much false things about it!
Good take on the theme!
Indeed it's odd.
I was submerged by the atmosphere...
Then I wanted to stop, took me a while to understand I just had to leave fullscreen.
Nice game!
Reminds me of "the company of myself" don't remember where It was though.Corners are somtimes wierd...
Nice Game!
Good, like the music.
Would be nice to be able to have custom keys(french Keyboard)
Sweet, but a little short and easy, found a few ways to finish it though, which made it more fun!
01234560 argh... that parts so frustrating...
Had a great time!
And the graphics are awesome!
Go to someone, burn EVERYTHING!
That was defenetly the coolest feature!
I sort of like the simplistique graphics!
Controls adapting to your keyboard is great!
I had a blast!
I admit that at a certain point I let it run alone...
Good that our trafic lights are now automatic!
Most of the game is optional:the checklist!
Totally worth it!
Did all upgrades exept one, Liked the "coach" upgrade!
Neat Math game!
I like the 100 points cards, it sort of shows that even high red cards can be good!
I don't think the controls are that bad, in fact I happen to like them!
Small eats fast...Oh noes! small fry approching! arghhhhhhh....
Guess it's a bit to much luck for me.
I think that this type of biding could just wotk in real life...
Gameplay is great! It doesn't need to be extended at all, or it will loose some of the prethinking.
The music got repititive after a while.
Like how all your scores are by "n00B"!
Like it's idea, and the gameplay realy reminds me of stratego... I happen to just love that board game!
Loved it!Just great!
Murphi's law:"If anything can go wrong, it will."
I like how it's like:"noooo saaaaavvvvvvvve mmmmmeeeee..."
while your watching the small fish get eaten before the level...
Didn't get how to use the pick though :(
Simple, but first I missunderstood and tried to turn them alll white!
When I learned there was a dagger, it got found!
Then I enjoyed killing zombies!
I know this gameplay from somewhere, but it wasn't at this level. You did a great job with the "turn while you advance"!
I wish I had the patience to play it again and see the other ending...
Multiplayer: Why not?
The game is really simple though...
Didn't find which file to launch.
Seems to be missing a file/file extention.
Yay works now!
Like the huge explosion of the rocket launcher!
Great!
The ending kinda made it feel incomplete...
Graphics are awesome!
But the game experience wasn't so great... reversed up and down really confused me and when you put some tiny lag above that...
The mood is well set, but the game could use some music.
Good job!
This is somewhat mesmerizing...
I like how you throw your light, and how some parts remain lighten...
My bad, Isn't the right game, I'm commenting at(yes, multiple tabs...)
I found this game quite cool in it's squarish style.
I think the camera wasn't easy to use.But I like the metaphor.
I love the concept! To bad no-one was there while I played...
Obviously, there was supposed to be 7 carrots in the same package xD
caranha: Exactly what I found too!
This game is pretty cool...
As mentioned above, the GUI isn't really intuitive.
However after I noticed the "Sell" tab it became clearer,
maybe you could have made the Tabs in colour.
Once I understood that, it got interesting.
I think some feature helping are knowledge of the probability that something will rise would help.
I can see a lot of potential game-play here, the main idea is good.
Final boss, why, he can shoot loads of stuff at once!!!
I have the feeling you could get coins faster(I reached the final boss on second go, but still hadn't enough coins to buy an upgrade when I died...)
Arrrghghhghg! Can't win!
Cool little game!
*joppiesaus: Fixed!
*d_Oo_d: Yes, when one is ill, one does weird things...
*tiffy, a game made by someone who was sick xD
Seriously, I don't know how it ended up like this!
*HeyChinaski Thanks!
That's because I made it the first day, not the one where I was sick.
*miwuc I got an idea of what it might be: does your computer have a small screen?
Nice little game! I found some spells worth far more than their price and vice versa.I think the theme was hit just right: only one spell use!
Oh my god, this is so hard!
I played the four first panels at least 100 times and never got past them...
Well at least I can say I know part of the game by heart XD
Super jeu!
I like the simple yet addicting mechanic,
I could easily see how this could be expanded!
The last riddle... I found that it's a little too famous..
But this is a great game!
Space , water , snow, stars, comets, life, in other of time what I thought about the orbs...
Timeless Game!
Press X to... OMGTRIPLEKILLAMSOHAPPYYAY!
Seriously, 5/5 in humour!
Fun little game!
I just would have liked to get to play more than one worker once I was done, would have been very rewarding.
Yay! I survived! Sweet Graphics :)
I like the different weapons, and how the enemies just "crowd" you to death...
I however didn't find the music really fitting.
Excepted that, this game is pretty good.
"Due to the fact he ..." Loved that line, not going to spoil it!
I played a game that looked exactly the same already, but it was from the jam, and wasn't as good as this one.
The idea is ok, but I felt that charged arrows could be more powerful, the graphics are fine, and the terrain is great, excepted one little detail, it seems to be possible to shoot the arrow, at a place you can't reach.
Great game overall.
Also, I like the elves IA(They jump to dodge arrows... )
Nice little game we got here!
I hope you expand it!
Good Idea! Like the simple game-play however it's not perfect:
you can get 2 ants on the same square(they become useless) when one falls on an other.
Nevertheless, good game!
I won first by getting 20 power-ups, while I was focussing to hit enemies, and not collect power-ups.
Then I played it again and won through time.
In my opinion the game is good while a little to easy.
Sorry about the full-screen, Alt+F4 should work, or Alt+tab.
If everything else fails, control-alt-delete and kill the process.
Oh and, most importantly: shoot those walls down!
There are ennemies, just get in there! (Break that wall!)
seantheartist, thanks for the nice comment!
Sparrow, I hesitated a lot about that at first.
Sorry, it does crash allot... for no apparent reason--> LD side-effects!
Tipped over the flour, opened the oven, tuck the butter, dropped it, rage quit.
I guess I don't have the nerves... oh and, it's a nice hilarious game!
This is hilarious!
Pretty hard, got 80 eventually.
You just have to get used to it.
What made me rage allot was the fact that I kept hitting that first obstacle XD.
Could be a great time-waister!
That jump is the one I implemented in my very first platformer 2 years ago! Feels pretty nostalgic...
Nice game.
Neat, random generation is sometimes unfair but I can live with it.
Ghosts have an interesting path picking rendering then killable.
Nice Game!
I like this game, it may be game-play lacking but has a nice narrative!
I liked the summary at the end, I was wondering: is it possible to get a positive score?
I think it could be easily improved, but for 48 hours this is quite good.
OMG Birds!
Works for me.
for above:I think if it were higher than 5fps, it would be impossible...
Seems broken for me sadly.
Had a hard time at first, but eventually managed it.
Repeatedly mashing space instead of holding space was not obvious for me.
That being said, it's pretty good.
I managed the first and second level, I like the mining strategy!
Little minus though: once you got that strategy, it's plain grinding.
Crashes for me, sorry!
Who wants to compare scores? XD
Game is really easy, the difficulty should increase with time at least.
The game is really clean, good job!
Light production in fireflies is due to a type of chemical reaction called bioluminescence. This process occurs in specialized light-emitting organs, usually on a firefly's lower abdomen. The enzyme luciferase acts on the luciferin, in the presence of magnesium ions, ATP, and oxygen to produce light. -Wikipedia
Nice little hallucinogen-amplifier you got there!
Someone help me, I'm being eaten by worms!
Great game.
Great entry! Liked the mood shifts allot!
I didn't grasp the story entirely which gave it an additional mysterious feeling...
I like the narrator too!
The violin though, got quite annoying after a while...
I found this very cute :)
I like how you slowly build a sort of "fortress of food"!
However, sandwiches are so hard to make! I only managed one...
I couldn't beat the third dragon even after several attempts, so highscore = 1112 or something like that.
I had the feeling that after a time dragons aim at you!
Music is pretty good too.
Finished it, missed one orb, but no idea where...
Nice mechanic and a better representation of the theme than many games I've played so far!
Great Theme interpretation!
I here there are six stages, but sadly the first one is already to hard for me :(
I also liked the atmosphere!
Nice! Liked le roller-coaster at the end.
I think I found a short-cut in the gravity puzzle(?)
And constructing a bridge was sometime iffy.
the music also seemed a little to repetitive after a while.
Otherwise the game was solid.
@hobieV if you don't beat the mantis, you have not seen the REAL game.
Hint: time your dashes, you can use them in mid air.
Dash just after you got hit!(So that you don't suffer the knockback...)
@PhDAA The ice-cream is nearly the end!(Kinda is IMHO)
The screen still has to be shattered once again to get the end message, which basically tells you to quit.
You haven't missed anything :).
@kilch Thanks for the compliment, I recorded that!
I'm the author, so as to confuse no-one,the comment above has nothing to do with this game.
I like the graphics!
Love the little jazzy tune in the background!
I got a few endings and found a bug: you can go on with the text without choosing an option...
Funny entry!
I like how the sword swings are on beat!
Insane! Love this entry! Solid in every aspect, only lacks in "theme" :)
Attacking to the beat man...
So freagin' hard, but the core idea seems nice, like above, could use better graphics.
I had no sound, I hope I'm note missing something since the above comment spoke of audio...
I liked the crazy music, too sad it didn't loop :(
On one play, I was wondering if you can survive for ever after a while, and then my asplode!
Cool music!
Cat & ball vs bug.
The audio was funny, and I liked the humour :)
Got the alternate ending too!
HighScrore: 941
The colour scheme isn't the best, it's hard getting used to it...
I like the gameplay, it's pretty addictive and fun.
Really hard!
I can't seem to be able to win.
I try to plan my path etc.
But I always get my base invaded...
The mechanics seem cool, but the difficulty is just heigh!
Java Exception, sorry.
I have java 7, widows 7, maybe I need java 8? Would suprise me, after looking at the source.
I did extract the files(so that's not the problem).
I checked file capitalisation(because that's a common problem...).
My 2 cents:
I noticed you didn't put all the resources in the .jar
Instead of:
Snowman = ImageIO.read(new File("asdf\\SovietSnowman.png"));
put:
Snowman = Snowman.read(ImageLoader.class.getResourceAsStream("SovietSnowman.png"));
And put your image in the package of the same class.
That way you can ship a simple single runnable .jar file.
I also noticed the source folder you give is missing some images (like splash.png)
Hope any of this helps.
I got many funny bugs(wrong mob head in the up right corner, moonwalk with arrow keys, winning a lost fight, etc.)
The story seemed very scrambled, which is sad because the graphics were cool!
I think this has potential.
Got through the 7 levels.
Nice concept!
You could have made us explore the level a little more.(I nearly never went to the right of the screen...)
The controls were fluid too.
I found this highly addicting.
Does the spider have any other interaction than hurt you?
I couldn't find one, but I liked the snakes' mechanic.
Never got over 500something, but I liked the game-play!
Maybe loot is a little too random, but that's just a nitpick.
Good job!
Got the same problem than above, otherwise I've got to admire the level design.
Even with simple graphics, the game creates an amazing experience! And the music was just top notch.
I managed to make that hi-spheres have a negative production (int overflow?) XD
I can boast the score of -750,000,000,000, the game is over technically!
Nice entry, and cool graphics!
So hard, with a catchy beat, I guess a hardcore drop is to be expected XD
Yeah I never got beyond the 1:05-1:10 range... Nice entry!
Nice music, hard to do those jumps though...
Got further by luck then by skill :p
Unlockables were a nice touch.
Found a bug too: if you land perfectly on the corner of a square, it slides on with you!
Heh, nice twist!
I liked how I had to remember the previous build to be effective...
Really nice idea!
That reverb one the fart was a nice touch XD
Score 1150.
Indeed small hitbox, but that makes for those situations where you run around a kid to grab him!
Pretty fun.
The health bar is a nice way to prevent people from just letting the game run in the background for a few hours.
But at the same time the health is hard and boring to replenish(each point missing is a second!)
The fact the mobs get better is also interesting.
The tactics you can put into place are nice(like guarding bottlenecks) however sometimes you lose against enemies that are less than you(I nearly won but lost because of this several times, 400 vs 380 in the last game), while that is annoying, comebacks are frequent which is good.
Overall nice entry.
The game is a bit easy.
I noticed you can move forwards backwards, didn't really use it though.
"knightmares" is a nice pun :)
Jump over an arrow, it still hits, and you can flatten humans while in the sky...
Aside from those little inconsistencies, the mood is good!
Also: the colossus looks nice.
Final score: 1700 and something.
Becomes harder, nice mechanic forcing ability diversity!
Left+right click is considerably faster, maybe you should make that more obvious. It makes the game twice as fast.
Helicopters were sneaky until I saw them.
Music was all right though!
I liked the "SEND EM FLYING MOVE" and just generally making marmalade pancakes.
Just for reference, finishing the game(killing all villagers) gives a score > 30000, but varies depending on remaining health and how many villages you let spawn.
-Author
@pi_pi3 I don't get this comment... can't you just adjust your volume? The music is at 0db, or so I think, I just wrote the bytes directly to the speakers..
@Demy this is actually not the first time here this.
Could anyone who has this problem tell me what GPU/Hardware they're using?
@Electron could you describe your problems? Otherwise it doesn't help allot...
Highscore: around 130 (forgot what exactly!)
Nice little animations!
Could use more gameplay depth but was well polished.
Finished it.
Feels a bit like pacman, and the customisable options are nice.
The gameplay breaks a bit away from tower defense since you generate your one gold yourself.
At the end I was drowning in gold, and buying stone things to replace the dead ones, and then I won.
Pretty good!
Doesn't the monster have mind control since he also controls the other units? Hehehe.
The end was a bit weird, and OH THAT SCREAMING SOUND.
But I a fun nerveless! Also when that bridge broke... Welcome to the bloodbath :)
"I AM THE KING TOO, BUT THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE KING, I CHALLENGE YOU ALL FELLOW COMMENTERS!"
Gameplay was actually kind of need once you started figuring out what to do.
Finding all those patterns, when to jump was the really good part.
While I had a few nasty white lines from time to time between tile textures, the pixelated graphics were satisfactory.
This game could use some music too.
Good job!
J'ai souvent fait des choix au hasard mais cela était probablement prévu.
J'ai bien aimé les différent résultat que l'on pouvait obtenir. Très bien écrit!
Overall nice atmosphere, with great graphics and good music.
Gameplay-wise it starts ok, but there is a lack of defensive possibilities as a walker(except lightning, but even that is very limited use). So,could use some more balancing.
Good entry!
If you enter the shop and leave and enter and leave you can cheat yourself to victory :p
Felt slow in the beginning but it gets better with upgrades.
Few animation bugs too.(for stomping)
I hope no kids see this!
The game was pretty good.
The fact that archers run of arrows was a nice touch, and I liked how you could use cover.
Great tutorial!
that last level was hard...
Great mechanics!
I finished the game entirely.
It could be more polished(sometimes you have the feeling you need a little luck) but aside from that the puzzles where well-crated.
Good job!
Well, I got stuck at the long jump too.
Couldn't jump when being a fox either, did I miss something?
Re-went up uncountable many times and this really brought a lot of frustration.
The graphics were great. And the game-play seemed interesting.
Nice job!
I never managed to destroy that lock.
I did manage to cook meat though after the 2nd try.
If you search something once and don't take the items you'll never get them...
Aside from that bug everything worked well.
All these years finally make sense now!
I bet he eats socks too...
I was like: "Come, plaaaayyyy with meeeeee!"
and then I died, multiple times!
All modes had something:
-normal: interesting gameplay.
-overload: WHAT IN THE WORLD?
-speed: *Theme intensifies*
On the speed mode getting to 999pix/s was a bit luck(no time to react to whats coming :p) but otherwise no notable imbalance, ignoring overload of course!
Wow, the boss is hard, I got to the 3rd stage(shots + spawning things) but I couldn't beat him...
The character's and enemy graphics were good, however the tiles and the screen tearing or stuttering(I don't know which of both) made my eyes bleed.
Music was great, even after it remained stuck on the boss theme.
Wow that was some great sound!
Playing the game itself was a bit clunky but the narrative made up for it completely!
Great job!
Note:You can apparently still kill bill multiple times...
Scary stuff, especially that classical music juxtaposed with cleaning up the house... And that ending...
Aside from getting stuck on the side screen, and tat having any key pushed keeps you going, the game controls alright.
The fact that the torches stay is really interesting!
Placing monsters 2 by 2 seemed to be an interesting tactic, but ultimately you have to be lucky: get a level with a lot of chests, or somehow the player inflicts more damage (not sure what determines that actually.)
An easy way to give more depth would have been an xp system.
Do I place more mobs for more xp at the risk of dying?
Lots of potential with the idea here!
Solid entry with some nice music. Gameplay-wise the game was a little to slow at first and close to impossible around 250-300. The mechanics were good even if the laser powerup seemed useless. The score feature was a nice addition and the sound effects blended in well. Good job!
I'm sorry for the problems encountered while attempting to run this game. I just prefer to have something that works sometimes (current state) than never (what could have happened). The bugs I encountered while creating the .jar are so weird that I can't even begin to comprehend them.
Good game!
I liked the gameplay, sand the music was excellent. I didn't reach the princess but got far enough to have the move that destroys everything. The opening speech was hilarious!
Really good job altogether.
Great game!
I managed to win on the second run. The complexity of this game was unexpected. The different types of plants interesting. The music was good.
Even if I was lost at first, the second game I got to tinker around with upgrades.
Very good job!
Well, that last level was pretty hard. I think retried it at least 50 times!
The music was nice, although the sound effect for deaths was a bit annoying.
The gameplay itself was simple, and the game was quite fun.
Nice job.
Nice game. Didn't see the use of fighting and always fled. Power-ups and downs seemed a bit random. Liked the core mechanic of deciding which way to go.
Nice game. Pirates are pretty hard to kill. Controls are good except for the shields and missiles which is what make combat so hard. Trading system was good. Nice graphics, I even got to see a twin star planetary system!
Simple concept but smoothly executed and fun!
Nice little game. Releasing ctrl felt a little risky. Some parts seemed inaccessible (I may just be bad at it to).
The idea is interesting, but it's really annoying to restart the game and redo a series of events every time you want to do something different. The humor was great.
Nice little game!
The tutorial was good to explain the basic mechanics.
The game itself was a bit easy, chaotic as advertised, and fun.
Lol, plot-twist! Really unexpected ending :)
@all: Windows build done!
@sachos345 Hello!
> I voted based on the video [...]
Please don't vote based of the video, because playing a game is not the same as watching it, and I therefore feel unfairly judged.
> Im sorry but you should make the game easier to test.
I get that some people will not to be able to play our game. If you can't, just move on the next entry, costs you absolutely nothing. I know that nowadays fancy engines permit easy cross platform as well as web export, but that shouldn't force everyone to use them and not enjoy plain old C++ with OpenGL.
If you are on Unix, the dependencies are pretty easy to install (for me it's 3 to 5 commands I think), and most people may already have them installed.
To people reading this who can't play the game, please move on to the next entry, or wait for a possible windows build, but I can't guaranty we'll have one, windows builds are a hassle.
@ecmjohnson from scratch for life!
@jacquouille Thanks for the lengthy feedback! The boss spawns based on your size. I can beat the game without smol wasps, but that's far harder than with them, and requires good rng. Smol Wasps allow to get out of a lot of tricky situations!
It seems people have a hard time reaching the boss, so here are a few pointers: - you can use smol wasps to push enemies off screen. This despawns them, reducing the amount of bullets on screen and making the game more manageable. Keep some enemies on screen to eat though. - smol wasps also help create space, and cost less than taking a hit. Plus the slowmo can help assess the situation - you can send enemies towards, allowing to catch hard to get prey while staying out of danger yourself Be careful, this may also send projectiles at a rather high speed! - enemies lose size when getting life drained or hit by a smol wasp, this allows to eat potentially big enemies by staying on them while avoiding shots. Smol wasps can be used to keep them on screen / reduce their size further.
I won't give tips for the boss, he's a little hard, but if someone gets that far I doubt he'll give up ;) Also around 2/5 of the cool things of the game are at the boss...
I can speed-run consistently in around 40-50 seconds using cheese, my fastest being around 28 seconds. A non-cheese (read: normal) playthrough takes around 1 to 2 minutes, so winning is possible :P
That win screen was hilarious. I think the boss could have been a little harder, because my kiting comp was op!
