I'm stuck, how do you get past the first text that says "This is the longest wait..."?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD34 → Beyond the Final Frontier

I'm stuck, how do you get past the first text that says "This is the longest wait..."?
So I am running windows version on a 1920X1080 monitor.
and there were a couple of problems.
1. The buttons were off relative to where their text was. I ended up having to click above the where the text for the buttons where to register the click.
2.Im not sure I understand the controls. It seems to be that you use left and right arrow keys to turn, but also move forward? The gameplay itself was fine, although I wasn't able to do much just because of how frustrating it was to move around.
3. The music stopped looping for me after a bit.
Anyway for what its worth the game looks good and judging by your screenshots it gets intersting later on. That coupled with the music makes a good game provided that you can fix some of the small problems.
I liked it, though it was a little slow paced and a little confusing what I had to do.
Intresting concept but game is a bit too slow
A good looking game with a nice concept but I did feel it could benefit from faster pacing.
The idea is interesting but I think it's very confusing and a bit slow.
The controls were interesting. I never figured out how to fire the missiles, I always just got the shield. Fortunately it was easy enough to get the pirates to run into things and die. Impressive world-building and exploration mechanics for such a short time!
Nice game. Pirates are pretty hard to kill. Controls are good except for the shields and missiles which is what make combat so hard. Trading system was good. Nice graphics, I even got to see a twin star planetary system!
