So meta. I'm not sure if I like this game or it's useless piece of clockwork skullcrackery.

another chatroom game on this jam. not as fun as OneRoom sadly.

I really enjoyed this entry. It was very different than everything else I have played. As far as being funny or cringe I think it is a situation where you get out what you put in. I enjoyed my time reading the chat and responding in my own ways. I wonder if there were other people in there with me? That would be the only thing to make it more enjoyable is to have other people actually respond to my comments since they were widely ignored haha. Anyways it felt like something you might find on an episode of Black Mirror which I for sure am down with. Good job with the game dood!

What a weird chat room. People saying they got my IP, knows the place I am in (Only the county) and the browser I was using. These are not special. Not sure what the game was about.

Nice game to play while playing other games :D

WOw that's ... disturbing, I think you should try this concepet with more choices/interactions and with another story.
But it's clrealy original.

Wow, I really liked this entry, we also thought making a game with a chat room would be very fitting to the theme, but we didn't know what to do with this approach.
I guess you don't really have the possibility to make decisions in the game, which is a point that should be part of the game, but two times I thought I had. I suggested the name "AnusLicker" and it was very fun to see the game changing the name to "analFan" XD and when the second person was killed, I wrote "Saw" into the chat and she was killed with a bone saw. Coincidence? I don't know, I guess I have to play it a second time.
I really enjoyed it, great use of the theme!

I think it would be very interesting and maybe fun (for you), it the game would send the entire chat history to you after each playthrough, so you can see what the players wrote.

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad (some of) you enjoyed it.

@TitoMakaniJr I actually thought of that webcam episode from the latest season a few times. Can't say Black Mirror didn't influence me in some way. :D

@Mouch no coincidence, you can actually pick the weapon in the end. Although there really are just three actual endings. They will react to more stuff though, e.g. when you try not to kill the person at all.
I actually wrote a relatively complex system of how the bots react to what you say, but lacked the time to actually use that system to a better degree. There's one bot who'll reply to you if you mention him (@<hisname> in the chat), also there's one in the beginning trying to talk to you who will, to some degree, react to your replies. Also the bots react to each other dynamically. I guess about half of all messages are scripted, the rest is spontaneous nonsensical banter by the generic bots inhabiting the room. :)
Maybe I would have gotten more done, had I not spent over 3 hours on that nickname generator.

Great entry! Very different game, both creative and a little unsettling. My suggestion would be to make the bots more responsive, that would increase the feeling of how real the consequence of your actions might be.

Also, I'm curious as to the 3 possible endings!

Its a cool concept, i got what was happening in that chat room.
