I won!
Since you lose all progress when you die and there is no benefit to go hunt far from the construction site, I must confess I sheepishly farmed the first enemy, making it respawn by going back and forth... That's a bit lame for a winning strategy!
If you explore the concept further, it could be amusing to be able to use the bricks for more than just building the stone circle. Maybe throwing them at enemies kill them? Maybe enemies can't walk through them?
Little bug: I got the "there is no more bricks, go build some with bones" message when picking up a brick and it made the brick poof. It may be related to the fact I built a new brick before realizing I could use them to build the stone circle.
Hey! It's a really nice game! totally like the later gameboy capcom games that I loved to play (Mega Man V!) That tune could be a wily castle tune :P
Nice gameboy style art, ok sound loop, working mechanics. Yup, that's a nice game :)

Really nice gameboy feel and the overall idea. Love the sounds and the music. However I found it hard to attack the enemy without getting hit.

I'm a sucker for gameboy art, though it obviously moves like a normal game (doesn't stay pixel precise)
In addition, didn't know the enemies respawned, so I went far away and had to do a lot of jumping to get back.

Graphics and sound are great. The gameplay is fun for a bit, but maybe it could do with a bit more depth?

Fun game for what it is, took me a bit to figure out what to do, I first tried to move all the blocks to the far right of the screen, but that was very hard.
There are some bugs, though, it seems the warning about blocks running out appears even if they're not out, also if you are carrying a block and another one is created, then you lose the one you are carrying.
I have pleased the bone god, which, if I'm to be completely honest, is all I really wanted to accomplish today. So thank you.

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
I really love the gameboy theme! Incredible work! The animations were cool, and the controls were nice and easy.
Though it took me a while to understand that I had to throw the bricks at the construction site to build bonehenge.
The main character looks ugly and square compared to the rest of the game, even though you spend most of your time looking there! Otherwise: Great graphics!

It's pretty fun, yet a little short

I win! Loved the retro GB look and sounds. Fun little game. Thank you for that!

Really cute little game! I found once I ran out of the blocks you started with it took a long time to get another block from converting bones.

Very farmy/grindy play mechanic. I got frustrated because the attack was so short range I kept getting hit if I wasn't extremely careful.
