Pretty silly and literal interpretation of the concept! The animations were pretty funny.

Really cool timelapse, also.

Fighting off the enemies became something of a chore, could probably use more variation of moves, and the ability to block. (But of course its impossible to fit everything in, in only 48 hrs!)

It's pretty good, especially considering you said it's your first beat-'em-up--I think I'd feel a bit tighter if you tweaked the speed/timing on the AI vs. the player's punches.

The animation adds a lot to the presentation. Cell Fracture worked out pretty well.

Good entry. It was the first beat em up like game I've played on this jam. I liked the way you destroy the enemies, breaking everything.

Good job!

Pretty good graphics, and I liked the over-the-top sound effects, they worked well for the game. I kept expecting a second enemy type - maybe that's something to add if you decide to take this further. Perhaps also there could be rounds where the enemies come to the player.

Great job!

This was a fun game. I enjoyed the visuals and liked the shattering effects of the enemies when they were killed. It's really easy to pick up and play with no explanations on how to play needed.

I think having a boss enemy at the end of the level would have been fun, it could just be a stronger version of the standard enemy.

Good take on the theme. Good game!

The sound really pulled me in. All I could think of was He-man. I think there is a lot more that can be done with this. Its really fun and quite charming.

Fun game, the breaking animation of the enemies is really cool, the combat became a little repetitive at the end, some kind of boss or different enemies would be nice.

Nice job.

Funny interpretation of the theme, but I would have loved to see it pushed further. It would be nice if there were a couple different types of worlds to fight, even if it was only visual differences.

Great job with the sound. It was simple, but fit the game perfectly. Graphics were also a good fit, and I liked the death effects. But I would also have liked to see some more effects, maybe some particles or lighting?

I died twice, and beat it on my 3rd playthrough. I'm not sure if there's some kind of trick to the timing, but I managed to beat the game by simply mashing the attack button as fast as possible. I didn't mind the difficulty, or the fact that there was only 1 level. But I do wish that there was a bit more depth to the fighting. Maybe a couple different types of attacks with different speed/range? Or some sort of block/dodge/parry move?

Hey, this was a cool litle game. The graphics and sounds were quite cool and the idea of fighting planets was good. (Even though you could have used every other assets and it would still be a simlar experience). The gameplay was simple and the game was quite short, but overall it was a good game for a compo entry.

Solid beat-em-up! The sound effects and enemy-falling-apart animation were pretty satisfying :P Gameplay was pretty basic with just the one punch though, some combos or attacks with different range (for both player & enemies) might make things more interesting. Movement felt a bit sluggish too, might help to increase the acceleration speed. Nice work!

Neat game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dPr-ubTa3k

The sound effects were hilarious. Mechanics were kinda simple, a little more variety could've helped. Good job! :)

snowdrama 2017-05-13 18:52

Fun game, Only complaint was there was very little hit feedback when the player got hit, and that I didn't realize which one was my health until a ways into the game.

Beyond that nice job!

angiemon 2017-05-13 19:00

That was cool haha! I'm impressed you did this in 48 hours, all by yourself! if you continue working on it, I'd suggest like others above me the ability to block and/or more special moves/abilities maybe :) or instead of blocking the ability to dash and therefore having to time it correctly (the right time to punch an enemy would then be right after he tried to punch you, or something like that). as well as final bosses of course! ;D

also I thought it was really silly and adoreable (I love something like that! :D) rated <3

Punching planets in this game is strangely fulfilling. Punched all of them twice. Good job!

mikethewayne 2017-05-13 19:10

Definitely... Interesting! Fun mechanics, funny animations and style, didn't really understand what was going on, but I liked it!

bestnickname 2017-05-13 19:43

I saved the universe! Liked this game, pretty solid in terms of mechanics, and very amusing sound effects :) Great job!

ellian 2017-05-14 11:24

The mechanics are a bit simple to be fair, but here's something to those dumb audio sounds just going OWOWOW OW OW. It took me a while to realise you're actually a planet punching other planets with your moons (that's what it is right?!) which made the world kinda funny!

nekoballs 2017-05-14 13:33

Nice job! I enjoyed it. At first I thought my health was a time limit ticking down so I ended up rushing it to my death. Silly but good interpretation of the theme!
