The Dumb Kid's Job by Yvanor 2020-04-24T08:27:02Z
This is a really funny game! I laughed when I had to shoot the guys in the showers, nice job!

This is a really funny game! I laughed when I had to shoot the guys in the showers, nice job!
Fun game! The reaction of the cars is great! sometimes I was a little confused about what counts as a hit because sometimes the animals would cross over the cars.
This is super fun! super silly ,but everything comes together nicely!
This is cool, Nice mechanics, I would like to have seen some sort of slow mode since it can get quite difficult to get a proper orbit going. The preview line could have been a bit longer too. the player responds a bit slow to the mouse position, which makes it more difficult to change directions fast. But this is a great game overal! good job.
Overal very clear and fun game, I don't mind the rapid difficulty curve since there aren't any new complex rules to learn, you just have to click faster!
The game could really use some animations, Also the clown moves like a car, which feels a bit weird. Perhaps you could have made a clown car for him to sit in, that way the lack of movement animation would have been noticeable. But good job for finishing a game!
It's a fun idea, but the movement feels a bit slow, especially when you are trying to change directions. Also I would have liked to always know where the big green box was, maybe with some sort of indicator. Right now, when he goes off screen, I am kind of lost. The Audio mechanics where very nice though. The echo effect works great
This is great, In the beginning, It felt quite slow to move around, But then I saw I became faster as I got slower, Very nice!
I would like to have seen some more features, like the real tamagotchi. maybe a way to make it starve or you keep neglecting it's litter-box, you know, real problems ;)
You could hava added a auto walking feature, where we could just enjoy the view ;)
I like the opening and closing of the rooms, although I would have made it so the rooms would fit better on the screen, because sometimes when I cleared a level, I had to find where the new exit was. but that's just a minor thing.
Great Game! Simple and clear. Although I could still see the logs when it was "completely" dark, so I could explore without having to light a new fire. Also since only the central fire counts, I would like to have seen some connection between it and the secondary fires(for instance a speed boost or something), since now you have to keep coming back to the same central location, without you gaining any real benefit (in terms of movement speed for example) it gets impossible over time. But, overal, a nice little game
nice job, there are some things that could be improved: The keyholesnapping area is a bit small. It could have been a bit larger to snap to it more easily. There could have been some sort of catching confirmation like a particle effect or sound to give the player more feedback. The ballerina toys generally have a softer tone than the harsh 8bit sound, something that would be more pleasing to listen to. But apart from that, cool concept!
really fun game, I liked the cards, although it was quite difficult to get into at first
It would have been nice to have some visual confirmation for adding the logs. like an animation that puts a new log on. Also maybe show the logs getting burned up, like charcoal.
The Two guns are a nice mechanic! Really fun trying to hit multiple enemies at once with some cool trick shots, wel done!
@johnnysix yes, It is an egg shape, that way, the movement is more erratic than when just using a ball!
@kinshuk-thebest Thanks for telling me! glad you enjoyed it!
@rob-parker Yeah I was going to make it loop seamlessly, but then the time ran out ;)
@njm-games haha, I've done some crazy lucky trick shots in my testing ;)
@edwin oops, thanks for telling me!
@wheffle hehe, the egg sounds are as real as they get. I recorded them by breaking an actual egg ;)
@mika-la-grand, hey, I added the standalone builds to the Itch.io page!
@monish-vyas haha, sorry... Next time I'll make something a bit easier! Glad you liked it 👍
Very fun. Although I wish I didn't have to go back to the top each time I fed the chain chomp, because it's always the same. You could have ended the level when it got it's food! But that is just a minor thingy, good job!
Cool Game, However it was a bit slow at the beginning
nice! It's a bit unclear when the diamonds have taken enough damage, and I feel like the return angle is a bit too limited, something like a more analog bounceback system would have been ice to have more control over the direction. But, nice entry
I liked the concept, But the game feels a bit too easy because you're just driving pretty much in a straight line all the time. also the engine noise is a bit harsh. But, i like the shop system and the fact you have a crippling debt. Nice job
I feel like the game was a little bit too unforgiving, the camera controls are too sensitive and the obstacles are a bit too tough in the start to get going. Some sort of more gradual difficulty would have helped I feel. But the character looks cool and overal nice job!
Very Nice mechanics, I think the fact that you have to manually collect all the notes can be quite distracting from planning out the position of the different turrets. But I really liked the way the beats layer on top of each other to create effective loops, both for combat and dancing ;)
I really like the art style, although I feel like it is just a tiny bit over bloomed ;)
great work! the low res art gives it a clear visual style, however, the split track indicators can be quite hard to distinguish until you're very close
nice concept! I like the puzzle mechanics. Here are something I noticed when playing: I feel like the fact that you need to submit the same object more than once is a bit redundant since once you set up your loop correctly, there is nothing that would change the fact that it will work, so completing one iteration should be enough. But of course this is just a small thing, overal, I liked the game, great job!
I liked the art style, but didn't really get the gameplay, i was just mashing the space bar to flop the thingy around
I like the overal feel of the game, but I was missing a starting gun, something weak to get the basics going, but, nice job!
I like the art you made! Although I fel like it was a bit unclear on what I was supposed to do. Also some tighter controls would have been nice, but nice little game
Nice train puzzle game! I do feel like the fact you need to turn you character is a but unnecessary, and maybe you could have added some visual indicator of what tracks the switches are going to effect. But, overal, nice little game!
I like the idea, but I feel there are a lot of quality of life stuff that would make it way more fun, like a smoother camera and the ability to change the icon more than once every passing. However, I liked solving the riddles
I like to keep them alive, but I feel like there should be some sort of progression or way to win, after the initial few seconds, I feel like I've got nothing more to do. But when I was playing, it was fun to make the robots move around!
nice little game, I do feel like it should be more clear how the truck is going to move when it encounters a split. also some ui so I won't have to remember what button I need to press. But, nice job!
