Aside from the camera controls it was a really fun experience
I like the graphics. But, what is going with the camera?
I feel like the game was a little bit too unforgiving, the camera controls are too sensitive and the obstacles are a bit too tough in the start to get going. Some sort of more gradual difficulty would have helped I feel. But the character looks cool and overal nice job!
Nice work! I enjoyed the art style. The gameplay was simple but fun!
Great job with the theme and the overall, works with my PS4 controller, menus would have been cool and a better camera as well
The graphics are colorful I like it. The camera move too quickly and is a bit uncontrollable. Apart from that the gameplay is fun ! Good job !
The graphics are excellently executed, and the character controls feel pretty good.
I have to agree that the camera is WAY too sensitive. I can't move my mouse a small enough distance to actually control it, which makes it really hard to make progress. The blue light is also really hard to see coming, so it took me a while to figure out why I kept resetting. Maybe put a point light source on the object so it casts colors on the walls as it gets nearer?
Not bad at all! I enjoyed the gameplay, but the camera definitely needs a little love. I'd love to see this as an autorunner- you've got a good gameplay loop here.
The game is a bit simple but it's a good idea, the art and the music are good but the camera and the controls feels a bit weird and the blue light is a bit too fast for me, my high score was 900 (9 coins).
Liked the 3d models. I found it very difficult to pick up the coins, you could make their colliders a bit larger perhaps. And also when you touch the glow that chases you, It felt like you died a bit to early so maybe die when it has covered half of the player character could be a suggestion.
Sorry about the camera controls. I struggled with the settings a lot, it's probably better to just not move the camera at all, it tracks the player fairly well
I patched the game and lowered the sensitivity.
Yes the control and camera management are a bit messy and the level design a bit confused. I had difficulties to play. Need some polish on this points. Otherwise, the character and colored minimal style is interesting. And the music fit well. It's a nice wink to the oldschool 3D games.
Nice oldschool looking 3D game! I found the animations and how they fit with the environment pretty surprisingly good for a jam, even if it's of course a simple character!
However, the controls, are really, really messy, I can't quite pin point what's going on but for sure the jump has a lot of issues with slopes and moving objects collisions.
You're right, it's better not to touch the camera, works well, but it's awful when I try to move it myself xD
I like how the level is shapes in circle, pretty nice idea but in the end it's just the same level infinitely, not saying it's not a loop, but it's not that clever of a use of it ^^
I felt like the death barrier was speeding up when I was going ways faster than it, is that right ? Just curious !
The game looks pretty nice though, you can be proud, the audio works, it's a nice little game I had some fun with ^^ Congrats for this entry!
@kaldrin thank you for the review! I realized all of the problems with the controls I just didn't have enough time to fix it all :(
The barrier does indeed adjust its speed based on how far/close you are!
@m-dam You're welcome sorry for giving harsh feedbacks on controls and such while I know you're aware of them and just lacked time!
