This is a really cool idea for a puzzle game. Some indication of which way the vehicle is going to turn would make a nice addition, but overall, a really well-executed game.

@extar. Thank you for your feedback. If I had more time I would have included an arrow that points to the next turn the truck will make.

Simple puzzle game. Everything works really well, nicely done!

jonas-michael 2020-10-06 12:36

Interesting puzzel game. The truck behaviour seems too unpredictable, though, which is sad for such a game. Also, Audio would have been nice. Anyways, nice idea!

cerins 2020-10-06 12:50

@jonas-michael Unfortunately I didn't predict that the trucks movement looks that unpredictable. The algorithm of the movement is that the truck will not change it's direction unless it has to. The truck's turn priority is North East South West. For example if the truck can't turn north or east, it will turn south. Thank you for your feedback.

Really nice puzzle game, I was playing it for really long time and I enjoyed it. I was missing some relaxing soundtrack in the background. Also it took me a while to figure out how the truck moves, maybe it would be nice to add some arrows that will indicate in which direction the truck is going to turn. But otherwise really nice game I enjoyed playing.

Hot freakin' damn dude I loved this puzzle game so much. I'm still playing it, I just needed to stop to put in feedback. I read the description before playing so I didn't have much trouble with how the truck moved but *whistles* this is one hard puzzle game! The music has gotten slowly more satanic as I spent a solid 30 minutes trying to wrap my brain around these puzzles but solving them is so satisfying. Obviously the artwork and look of the game isn't stellar but the skills for those will come in time. In terms of pure mechanics, you've really satisfied my itch for deceptively simple puzzles.

madalaski 2020-10-06 13:44

Finished every puzzle!

cerins 2020-10-06 14:17

@madalaski Thanks for your detailed review! I'm happy to hear that my game is enjoyable. P.S. yes, the music does become more and more satanic as the time goes on, wasn't my original intent, but I think it's a great addition to the game :)

I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection

nice little game, I do feel like it should be more clear how the truck is going to move when it encounters a split. also some ui so I won't have to remember what button I need to press. But, nice job!

jake-sanabria 2020-10-07 15:30

Interesting concept! I would enjoy playing a minimalist game like this with sleeker ui/art and more engaging music/sound design. Great use of the theme too!

cerins 2020-10-07 17:57

@jelle-vermandere @jake-sanabria Thanks!

I really liked this puzzel game, my only complaint is I wish the controls were more responsive and easier to understand. The only things I can complain about are small quality of life stuff. solid mechanic :)

dak001 2020-10-07 23:48

fun puzzle game. love how the truck look

shaolin-dave 2020-10-08 00:25

Nice puzzle game. I did notice that some of the later puzzles seemed a lot easier than the older ones, but I managed to get through all of them. The play field seemed to be cropped at the edge of the screen, you might want to make sure all playable tiles show up entirely on-screen.

dark-prince-zen 2020-10-08 09:47

Nicely done. Got through but I do agree with one of the comments that an indicator would be nice. But really awesome job.

raffe 2020-10-09 11:01

Heo, cool entry! Even tho the graphics aren't insane, they're meme enough to fit in nicely with the music ;D

For me, there are maybe a bit too many keys to remember for a puzzle game, especially in the beginning. But after a while of playing this you can get a hang of it so it's not so bad. Didn't rly see any problems with the mechanics, and didn't find any game breaking bugs either. Somewhy I didn't find the truck's movement that unpredictable, but working just as I imagined it would :D And if you had time, you could've probably added a something to click on to get to the next level and not have to press ESC and go from there etc.

So altogether a solid, well working puzzle game, that was really hooking and really fun! GJ :)

This was an over the top entry for beeing done in 3 days. Theme and graphics were a bit "naah" for my part but the gameplay, music and mechanics were pretty damn well excecuted.

Summary: Awesome job! Graphics could have been better and it could have followed the theme better but otherwise it was stunning!

pedrocoden 2020-10-10 05:10

Nice game!

eldogg 2020-10-10 20:51

Really cool puzzle game, it got my mind whirring. I like the seeming simplicity of the game that allows for deep puzzles. Cool stuff, thanks!

maychant 2020-10-10 22:56

This is cool. I like the mechanics. It can benefit from making the roads added by the player a different color to distinguish them from the initial ones, because they are removable, unlike the initial ones.

tunahead 2020-10-19 13:59

Pretty Nice Game...feels a bit weird. It's also in the beginning pretty hard to understand what road the truck prioritises

poodle-in-need 2020-10-23 21:32

Nice entry, but there is room for improvement... : ) things as clarification on which paths get prioritised or art/design of the Sprites and the menu, but on the otherhand it has everything it takes for a finished, working mini-game, well done!

poodle-in-need 2020-10-23 21:32
