Travelled backwards into my own tail. I don't think that's supposed to be allowed.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Snake 99

Cool idea, could use art
Cool idea, to be honest I feel like it's only very vaguely related to the theme. It also could use some art/polish.
I surprised to see multiplayer game, but it is far from jam theme, graphics need some refinement and gameplay is kinda hard to test as there is no players so u can only play classic snake
not bad,
This was a really good idea for a game and i love that you created a multiplayer game during the Compo and with an offline mode too! I think that the graphics could of been better but i'm guessing you used a lot of time to create the multiplayer/AI. Really good concept and i commend you for entering a multiplayer game!
It's fun that it is possible to speedrun the game by turning back and forth a lot!
Doesn't seem to be working for me. All I see is a button that says to view instructions but doesn't do anything on click.
I'll hold off on rating.
@justalocalhero what browser are you using? It only works on desktop chrome and with limited support desktop firefox. Didn't have enough time to extend support to any other browsers
props to you for making a multiplayer game in ludum dare! Maybe consider adding 'fake multiplayer' such as in .io games, so you could kick start the session with new players just joining in. Cool idea and game nonetheless:)
@peto184 that was the original idea, but there were time constraints :P
fantastic idea !! and very well done !! it's minimalist but it's a good game, good job!
Nice game! cool modern twist on a clasic game. Could be that the difficulty curve escalates too quickly! I think it could be improved by sound and art. Overall nice idea! :D
I was able to play offline, so I can still rate the game!
The lobby was empty so I opened a few new tabs to fill up the lobby with myself, but couldn't figure out how to actually start the game from the lobby.
Played offline since there was no one to be found in the lobby - yes, its snake as we love it! Cool idea to make it multiplayer! Good job!
How does the attacking works?
I didn't fully understand how the attack work. When I press space I don't see any feedback from the game. And the red fill after death hurt my eyes :( But multiplayer in 3 days deserves respect!
The multiplayer option was a nice surprise! Although I couldn't find any lobby when I try to play, so I tried the offline version. I think that you should turn off the Audio rating option for your game since there is no music or sound effects.
Pretty cool, not quite sure how it worked with the theme or what else to do other than play snake. That might be just user error :(
Yeah....I probably should have spent more time making the AIs better than the networking. The attacks add length to enemies, but there's no animations for it, so it's not super clear when you are attacked... you can only attack when the blue bar at the top of your display is full, and are attacked when your red bar is full.
Interesting idea with the multiplayer aspect. The theme wasn't really used too much. Had some errors while trying to host a game. Solid effort overall.
Really impressed that you got both multiplayer and a single player mode supported! Nice job.
