So yeah, mechanics are pretty good, and your level design take a fully advantage of it. Graphism are clear, great use of unity toolkit, really fun to play
My only concern is about controls, two thing. It seems you used a rigidbody with add force right ? It feels like unending max speed, wich can be great if it was planned, but i tend to prefer more controls for my characters, and the slow acceleration / high max speed make the opposite of that. Just my opinion. And the second thing is maybe unwanted but when jumping close to wall, it seems like they're is a friction on the wall, therefore it give the impression that you don't want the player to stay close to wall but instead stay away from wall while jumping. Beside that, had real fun playing your game
@vollfeiw Thanks for the feedback! There is acutally a max speed but its quite high, maybe that could be lowered. The player can get stuck to walls sometimes, this is a bug due to the wall jumping mechanic I think, didn't get chance to properly look into that one.
I really love this game. You must take it further on the mobile platforms as well.
Pretty cool, I love the visual style, its simple, but very effective and combined with the music it creates a great atmosphere. the mechanic of the game is kind of simple, but for a short jam game it works and it is very well executed with lots of polish.

The atmosphere on this is amazing, and I think the ultra-high max speed's effect on the visuals adds even more to it.
I got stuck pretty early on I think (the puzzle that introduces the spring, it seemed like I couldn't get enough speed to climb the wall and reach the red button? I'm pretty into where I saw you going with it though.
Cool game. The jump on the 3rd level was a bit to hard.
@nohac I think I agree. I got pretty good at doing it during development but the wall jumping might be a little too tricky in it's current form. Thanks for the feedback!
interesting proposal, principally mixing it with puzzlles, nice graphic effects too. But i got stuck in the third level and the jump control seems to not respond too well, like it have a little delay.
353 seconds! As what others wrote, level 3 jump was VERY hard. Still don't know how it happened in the end. Love the visual effects, especially with speed. Music is also on point and the level design was solid. Nice one!
Nice game! The graphics and post-processing effects really add a lot to the mood of the game, and the controls are fluid as well.
Even being simple I like the speedrun potential and the last level with the decoys. Good ambiance and music too. Scored 200.97!
Simple concept but great polish ! maybe end level is a bit long compare to the game speed.
I really like the graphics, I hope I can learn to use light the same way you do! I think the controls were fine but sometimes the cube was hard to control sometimes when the speed was high but I don't know if that was intentional. Overall, I had some fun playing it
This game is sooo good - the fluid movement of the block is incredibly satisfying. When it's combined with the music, graphics, idea - amazing game!
Wow! Simple but stunning visuals, the music fits perfect as well and the controls are very responsive. Only point I have (as you and most people pointed out) were the walls and jumping interaction.

I liked the visuals. It's very minimalist in a good way. Good mood too. The concept reminds me Minit in a different genre. Good job.
The game was ok. I had a hard time figuring out how the player and the wall interaction worked. Sometimes it let me jump again sometimes not, sometimes i slid down and sometimes i didnt. Also the purple bouncy platforms seemed to have a range of height they could send you which was hard to understand the mechanics of. I only go to like level 5 or 6 before i was too frustrated to continue

I like how you used your game physic to define your level design, I especially love the wall jump :) At first I fought I would like to have more control but as it serves the games, you changed my mind in 3 levels :) great game for speed runners :D

Nice looking game! The mechanics and the animations are very good. However, I didn't find it too close to the theme, or maybe I'm interpreting it in a different way
simply but stunning! i love this vintage vhs vibe and play with light as glowing square. also i rly enjoyed the speed of it although i could not pass one lvl XD audio is also nice and the minimalism here is the key to the top :key2: :crown:

Liked the the loop aspect. A bit slow for the beam to put you up but the game itself is pretty solid for the entry, well done! :)
Well, that's a very fast-paced platformer! It's hard to get a grip on the control, but when you do it's very fun. I especially like the fact that you have to use the momentum to reach higher place. I also like the presentation a lot, it's very moody and kind of creepy. Overall, a great game, good job!
Loved the art and the overall feel to the game. I did find it a bit difficult to get a hang of at first, but once I figured it out I had a blast. Just wish there was more of it!
Nice little platformer. Wall jumping felt a bit weird and I didn't know I could do it until I read about it in the comments. Nice that you keep track of total time to add some replayability.
I totally love the mood, fast-pacing and the visuals of the game. Yet I think the 'grain' post process could be put a bit touch down. Also please make the jumping more responsive! Great job!
