Nice Idea! That's really difficult!XD I think you are really good at simulating the process of brushing teeth. The teeth should be cleaned only by "BRUSHING", not just putting on it.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Brush it Up!

Very original idea and I love the shop upgrades mechanic. I think if your teeth look like that then you probably have bigger problems to worry about than cavities though. Haha
@charlesschar ha yeah good point :)
@jyumonji thanks :D Yeah I only get like 30 points when I play but my friends somehow get like 150+ idk how they do it
My high score was 173. You really *brushed* away the competition with this entry!
This was considerably more fun than brushing my IRL teeth. Great work!
I really liked the mutlti-views mechanic, it was a good way of figuring out how to move the brush around the teeth in 3D space without getting too complicated
I like the different camera angles of the mouth and how each of them is functional to brush! My dentist would enjoy that this game is out there.
@dninosores @candlesan glad you liked the cameras! That took a surprisingly long amount of time to do, so glad it was worth it!
@wogabi mission accomplished :)
This game made me really uncomfortable very fast 😅. The game is nice but I only looked at the bottom view port ever so I'm not sure how useful the others were. Good job :))
Really creative, I played this one longer than most! The 4 cameras is very cool. With some more balanced progression, I think this could be quite a good mini game.
@mohammad-aldehayat Thanks for the feedback, definitely something to iterate on I agree. Did you know you can switch which view was the main viewport (by double-clicking)?
This is such a neat idea!
The controls were stressful (my wrist hurts now) but I feel like this could be expanded into such a cool thing. Things like having excessive brushing on a tooth wearing down the defense of the tooth could be cool, excessive whitening also makes cavities more likely, etc. Upgrades for the teeth and everything. You could educate the world with this game!
I like it.
@otterfaelure ha yeah, first LD50 then the world!
Original idea. Good game to teach children that has to brush his teeth every day or this is what happens
One question. Is the last brush made of gold?
Nice entry! I would like to have those cameras to brush my teeth
@jesusnoseq ha maybe... only one way to find out ;)
I liked the concept. It was very difficult, but in a good way. I think if given more time, it would have been beneficial to have the main view be swappable with the other view. As it is, it is a little difficult to be accurate in the main view.
@kyle-maroscher thanks for the feedback. I agree the camera is something that needs more work for sure. Did you know you can double-click on a small-view to make it the main view?
I was all like "pshhh you're not gonna trick me into WANTING to brush teeth"....and then the teeth turned yellow and I freaked out and brushed like a mad man. Super unique, quirky, and funny. Wonderful job!
@clemonades Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
Interesting and truly unique idea, nice touch on the theme! I had issues with the camera as well: sometimes it's really hard to actually move the brush around the required area (and not just put the brush there) from any of the provided angles. Maybe it would be simpler if the player could simply move the camera, without the need for different views? Another solution would be to move the camera automatically based on where's the player pointing at, but I guess that won't be easy to implement in a nice and non-frustrating (to the player) way. Anyways, fun submission, good job!
@lisyarus thanks for the ideas, I hadn't thought of a dynamic camera, but I agree actually moving the brush is tough in some spots. Something to think about
Ugh, I get a lot of those "teeth falling out" dreams, so this hit a little close to home... :confounded:
Gameplay was good though, and challenging. Pretty much lost the whole lower jaw when I went for the "pull rotten teeth" option...
Well done. Gonna go give my teeth an extra brush, now...
Fun and very different game! Love the 3d teeth.
Interesting, but scary! It made me feel like I needed to go brush my teeth, like... NOW.
The controls were a bit rough around the "edges" as it was. Maybe having keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch to the other camera views?
Great job!
I think I've had this nightmare before. Good work!
@gul Hey now that sounds like a good idea, definitely will try that out
Very creative entry, kory! Totally unique. After playing I also wanted to rush and go brush my teeth. Great job on this piece. I had some troubles with the controls but having multiple cameras helped.
The brushing sounds are quite satisfying, and the music is super catchy as well!
@conradoclark thanks! It was very interesting using google song maker for music glad you liked it
XXD interesting concept! the teeth model is really cool XD
Big happy grin right now! What a great concept! Would have liked to be able to switch camera view using the keyboard, but overall, a great game!

Controls stuttered a bit but otherwise it's a cool and unique entry. I know it's a compo entry but wish the enviroment didn't look so plain. I scored 63 but I only realized I could swap cameras like halfway through.
@alaah yeah if I had the time (and the skills) I would have made it more like a dentist's office! Maybe more time on background, less time redesigning the camera system three times... :)
@fredrik-rosell Thanks for the feedback! I agree, that was a big oversight on my part :)
@justuspan thanks! I spent some time on the lighting trying to get something that looked decent, glad you liked it :)
Great job! I love the inclusion of multiple viewports!
Creative take on the theme! I agree with @ghost-in-the-toast, I really like how you included the different perspectives.
