LD45 — Start with nothing

tile.flip() by Move127 2019-10-07T02:18:23Z

I couldn't understand the use of the theme, but after reading the explanation, I agree that starting a puzzle game like this with no information does lead to interesting randomness. Great job implementing the theme, and making a rather unique game!

Are you there? by limered 2019-10-07T22:56:34Z

Love the concept of collecting the letters to unlock abilities.

Cloud Boy by JCMonkey 2019-10-07T02:45:50Z

Definitely one of the best platformers submitted. Great idea! I love drawing clouds!

A Brand New World by RealityCheck 2019-10-09T16:41:50Z

This is the foundation for a really great game. At its current level, I was really having fun figuring out where to place things and how to maximize the score. I think expanding on the concepts already present would make a really entertaining and engaging game!

Welcome to Nowhere by AdroitConceptions 2019-10-07T02:35:26Z

This was a well made and fairly unique platformer. I actually read the comments before playing, and was genuinely curious what on earth the music was going to be. I was not disappointed.

No.thing by adliberum 2019-10-06T23:26:23Z

I love the play on the theme haha, nice job!

Nothing by Bocodillo 2019-10-06T23:31:03Z

I really liked this design. I think it fits the theme super well. Just start mashing buttons and the game really comes to life. It was pretty neat! Oh and I really appreciate the linux build, since I keep having to skip over games that are windows-download only :shrug:

Ex Nihilo by Delightfullymad 2019-10-07T01:34:17Z

Ludum Dare 45: v0.0.1 (Working Title) by Travis Carlen 2019-10-07T02:05:31Z

Really unique take on the "clicker" genre. Took me a second to figure out what was happening, but unlocking the games was really neat after that!

Slime Slasher by Afamuefuna 2019-10-08T16:36:35Z

The HTML5 build does work. I just inspected element and changed the size and it was completely playable!

On itch.io you just need to change the viewport size. I attached a screenshot that shows what it looks like.

Overall I enjoyed the game, and I love the concept of the game being largely incomplete and then "unlocking" parts of the game as you go. Really neat!

@crunchykingcobra Ha, I love it! That's a great idea!

The Darkness by Iconocatstudio 2019-10-07T02:39:30Z

@jasper-hansen Thanks! I completely agree on it being a bit shallow. By the time I finished the groundwork, it was time to submit. Will definitely manage my time better next time I do a game jam!

The Darkness by Iconocatstudio 2019-10-08T15:48:53Z

@porocyonak @goldenglade @brokenmirrormedia @ambra @mechanicallife Thanks for the feedback!

The Darkness by Iconocatstudio 2019-10-08T23:00:01Z

@cybikitty I did have someone say it didn't work for them on safari, but chrome and firefox seem to work for everyone. It could be a hardware or driver issue too, as it requires GLES 3 support. Thanks for letting me know!
