Some issues on my end with framerate syncing on a 144hz monitor. Overall the graphics are great and it seems fun.

This was a great a game. My only real complaint is that I think the "Falling Star" section lasted a bit too long for what little gameplay variance it had.
@gerugames Thanks! Yeah, in retrospect I probably left it a bit long, it's possible that some people might even get bored and think that's all there is to it, but oh well, things to note for next time ^-^
The graphics, gameplay, and concept are great. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
This game is beautiful! When I collect the pink things, it freezes for a second or two. Dont think thats intentional. I had some issues with the camera, and I died because of it a few times. If you fixed these issues, and added sound, I would definitely replay it!
Art is pretty cool, gameplay on the start section is cool too. I didn't get to the other section :'(
Beautiful graphics! The controls during the platforming bit was a bit weird as the character used way to long to slow down. Over all a good game
I have the same problem as @bry, on a 144hz monitor the game is waaaay too fast. I can't get past the first spike pit because I can't time my jumps. Other than that, the game looks beautiful. I'd love to see the rest.
Beautiful game! Everything looks fantastic! The platforming I think could benefit greatly from checkpoints because some parts of it require such precise input. Also the deceleration time I think could be decreased just a bit too to give the player more controls. Overall very cool and basically two games in one!
@snufkinshat Thank you so much!
@dps2004 Thanks for your kind words! I didn't have time to submit to the compo and have sounds, but it was definitely something I wanted to do. Maybe next time!
Beautiful game! I really loved the art style and the animations! Starting the game off bullet hell style was pretty tough ahaha! Even though some of the jumps were really scary they were satisfying once I got them down and the fading in of the platforms was a nice use of the theme! The ending was adorable too! Yogurt and Pudding are cute dog names <3
I agree that the star section lasted a little too long and I unfortunately died (more times then I would like to admit) so when I got to the actual game I was a little bit annoyed and I didn't have as much patience to finish the game off, but other than that great game with beautiful art.
@jcmoyer @bry Sorry about that! The framework I used (Phaser 3) didn't support framerate limiting and I didn't have time to muck around with delta time.
Some checkpoints in the dog section would've been nice. I got pretty far untill I missed a jump and had to redo the entire thing.
Very colorful and nice! Interesting game
I really appreciated the polish, especially regarding the visuals.
The tail-end of the first section became a bit difficult to look at as it was so flashy (maybe that's just me though).
The lag involved in generating new platforms was a bit jarring.
I registered as having died although I was going to fall onto a platform. E.g. on the way back from the 2nd star, jumping off the cliff will kill you despite there being safe ground to land on.
A restart button would've been nice for situations where suicide was necessary, e.g. missing the jump to the floating island of the 2nd star.
Beginning was confusing. Wasn't clear what I was suppose to do with falling star section. So I kept running into the big stars thinking that was taking me to another world. Like @gerugames mentioned once I tried surviving it lasted a bit long for my taste.
Framerate was sporadic during the falling star section and platformer. Sometimes it would be really fast and others it would crawl. This was on a decent desktop in Firefox. The jumping didn't feel natural and felt to short on the jump. It made jumps that I would have expected to clear very difficult and frustrating.
I think with some polish to improve performance and controls with clarification in the beginning for the falling star section it could be an enjoyable game. Some fitting music would really help pull the mood together for the starry platformer.
The beginning felt like a different game, but outside of that being somewhat confusing at first, I absolutely loved the design, execution, and art style!
@plazmaz Thank you so much!
This game looks gorgeous! The first sections was a little too long to be completely silent but the platforming section was cool. Dying did send me too far back though, it was a bit of a pain to redo so much. I liked the game a lot overall, a little bit of extra work could go a long way with this one.
The start part is boring, graphics are great, platforming physics are horrible, the character decelerates way too slow, level design leads to one way level traversal and there are no checkpoints.
Nice game! the graphics are beautiful and the mood it achieves with them is great. The platformer part is kinda hard.
Very pretty, also very difficult. Wish there were save points of some sort.
Amazing! Looks beautiful, controls well, difficulty well balanced to make it tough but interesting.
This is overall a really pretty game, and I really like the gameplay idea. The controls in the platform game could have been better, and the game really needs some music/sounds. Overall a pretty good combo game. Well done.
I finally made it, after I don't know how many deaths. :D What was the purpose of the first part of the game, an unfinished introduction I guess? I must say, the visals were so gorgeous that I could almost hear the melancolic piano music and a deep voice telling a sad story while I was floating in the void.
The platform part was well executed, it felt very robust and polished. My only complaint would be that the inertia following the movement is a bit too much in a game where you need to make precise jumps (or maybe I'm just really bad at platform games).
Great entry!
EDIT: I guess you already know it, but sounds and music could have added soooo much to the mood of your game. I think devoting some time of your jam - even 1 hour - adding some sfx, is totally worth it!
The art was great but the controlls were lacking, still enjoyable tho.
Very impressive little game! I really wanted to finnish it but no savepoints and frustrating deaths stopped me. Good introduction but you should have made it a little shorter because for a moment i thought that was the actual game. Nonetheless, great work!
very cool game !
Graphics are nice, controls need a little work
Love the aesthetic of this game. Platforming was a bit unforgiving, but everything else was really enjoyable. Great work!
I absolutely LOVE this, the aesthetic is AMAZING and the gameplay is really fluid and cool. This is an A++ game awesome job!!!
Awesome art!
Control clunkiness aside... This is an impressive entry! It feels really polish and art is amazing. Congrats
Extremely well done. I really liked the beginning myself; it had a very gradual pace that made me feel accomplished when I got through it. The hold space for multiple jumps is odd in a punishing platform game though. Seriously stellar work.
Holy shit that looked great! Really well done, aside from the control clunkiness, impressive entry! The aesthetics are on point. Took a while for me to figure out what I had to do, but you kept me interested with the nice graphics! Care to checkout my submission as well? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/ld45-submission
This game is so beautiful! The only complaint I'd have would be that the intro feels a tad too long - but apart from that it's a really pretty and responsive platformer! :)
It is very relaxing and has beautiful arts. Good job!
Thank god I read the comment about the game going way too fast on a 144 hz monitor, or else I would've quit really fast. This game is absolutely most beautiful and when playing on a 60 hz monitor, the game feels great. Good job!
Nice concept with a dreamy mood. Jumping/moving can be a touch fidgety, but given the amount of time you had, you did a great job.
@goldenevolution Thank you! Yeah.. I should put a warning in the post description about that.
I loved the game! The art is beautiful! This lighting effect is fantastic! The gameplay is simple and polished. Two things to complain about: The first part of the game is infernal!! I stay longer in the first half than in the rest of the game. I almost gave up ... other thing: WHERE IS AUDIO?!? I spent the whole game listening to harps, vibes, strings, and skipping noises inside my head. It was an interesting exercise for my imagination, but a sad reality for your game. Think about putting the sound in an upcoming release.
Congratulations for the game!

I love this visual style. Great Work )
Hey, I played your game on my stream if you're interested in watching the video. (Apologies for the kinda bad audio mix)

@weeping-rupee Thanks for streaming it! It was interesting to see what specific things people got hung up on. Sorry the beginning was so gruelling to you, I think it had to do with your display scale, and also that I set the bar too high. You tend to get too good at something when you debug it all afternoon to properly gauge what to expect from new players :P
