Ok, we had to update the game because we had to get the Main Menu to work. you could only see a fraction of the credits back then, and the WebGL version works... to a certain extent. I don't think you can play the WebGL version.

Maybe you might want to remove the HTML5 listing, it is not really usable and gives a false impression of the game overall. If I hadn't seen your comment I would have just thought the game was broken.

I think there is a bug when purchasing enemies, because then there are too many to fight (they spawn too fast).

The HTML5 build does work. I just inspected element and changed the size and it was completely playable!

On itch.io you just need to change the viewport size. I attached a screenshot that shows what it looks like.

Overall I enjoyed the game, and I love the concept of the game being largely incomplete and then "unlocking" parts of the game as you go. Really neat!

Fun game with a nice interpretation of the theme and concept, has some difficulty problems like spawning too many enemies that the player can't not get hit.

Well the game does not work on the web version...as for the windows, it takes a bit of getting used to, but fun I guess. When I unlock enemy colours they spawn too quickly for me to get time to do anything lol. Was good with 5 health until they ganged me and slaughtered me.

The controls feel nice! It's fun to wander around and slay some slimes, and the art is cute once you unlocked it (I gave bonus Humor points for the title screen and the face when you strike x). I kind of understand what you tried to do in order to stick to the theme, but for me it's a bit off-topic. I mean, even if there is no graphics at the beginning, you already have your sword, and this is the core of the game :/ I missed some sound effects too :( Anyway, I had fun. Good luck for your future projects !

Nice entry. I had some fun! Good job. At the end the enemies spawn a bit to fast, I could not beat it :/

@reblys hi! thanks you for your comment, at first the player was about to start without weapons and with only one health, so death was unavoidable, then a god will spawn you with all the healths and ask you for your help to get rid of the slimes and to build his world, then the game will start as is now, but due some problems building it we hadn't time to do the intro xD that's why you start with the sword directly, about the sound effects, happened the same xD not enough time sadly :( but i'm glad you had fun!

@itsdanidre hi!! we removed the HTML version due wasn't working properly, sorry for that! and yeah, i think we have to adjust better the dificulty of the upgraded enemies! (even i had a hard time with them without the upgraded player haha)

@shadow30 Man, I was questioning that too. but I realized during development, although it was harder to defeat these enemies, after pressing that specific button, they give you more points. just in case if you were competing with other people. Hint: Don't get the Enemy Upgrade before getting the Character Upgrade.

@jeremia I think that's a balance issue. compared to what the difficulty was during development, this is actually pretty easy... to get at least 3,000 points. also, they give more points once you upgrade the enemies, just in case if you're competing with someone else. Hint: Don’t upgrade the enemies before the character.

Definitely too many enemies once you get the upgrades, if you are meant to get the player first it should be cheaper than the other two.

Nice entry ! I liked the attack animation, especially the character expression, a sound would have made it even better ! The upgrade concept was good but I thought the enemies would just get a color so I bought it before the player maybe it should be the last upgrade so you can be more prepared. (´ヮ`)

Game was fun. Not sure if it was intentional but the points do not subtract once you get an upgrade. The upgraded character looked cool, outough the face the stick man does while attacking is awesome :)

Really neat little game! At first it was a bit boring though, but the enemies upgrade really intensified the action and I almost died. That upgrade was quite the nice surprise btw, I expected the enemies to just get colored and not that they suddenly increase in number dramatically. Made it with just one heart left to the hero upgrade and being able to strike so fast felt awesome due to the contrast to how slow it was before. So yeah, the difficulty curve felt just right for me. Visuals are pretty damn nice too. Would've loved to have some more content, but I really enjoyed it as it is, good job!

@mad-brokli glad you had fun playing it!! we leave it as "objetives" to get te upgrade rather than a "shop" system to don't make it too long or boring since we couldn't add more enemies or behaviours in the time we had hahaha and yeah! the stickman face is just OUTRAGEOUS thanks to @theopenflare, he is such a great artist am i right? :P

@erkberg hi!! i'm glad that you made it to the upgraded character at first attempt! sadly we didn't have enough time to add more behaviours or different enemies (IE flying monsters :( ) but we are proud with the work we did and i'm happy that you enjoyed it!! :smile:
