Dude , that's a nice minimalist game
thank you @alp-arslan! really appreciate it.
Funny and minimalist game. Good job!
Thank you @iozsaygi =D kind of you to say!
to begin with a responsive conversational partner
I love the play on the theme haha, nice job!
thank you @iconocatstudio, had a lot of fun writing this.
Interesting take on the theme. Very minimalist, not sure exactly if I got to the end or not -- there were just no more options.
@stefanie-leitch thank you, and yes there is an ending :)
Nice entry @adliberum I think something I would have liked to have in the game would be some sound effects or music just to add to the mood a bit
@norris-eldridge thank you! good shout, for some reason whenever I make a text-based game I seem to forget all about sound and music!
Really nice use of the theme, I like games that get kind of meta like this. It reminded me a bit of the Stanley Parable. Like others said, music and sound would help with the mood, but on the other hand, it does kind of fit the theme better without it :)
I enjoyed this. I especially enjoyed it when I realized that I had just looped myself through the conversation with the Lord. Very clever how you did that. Not really a lot can go wrong with a good old text adventure like this. Would have liked some music or sound effects but this was so short it wasn't a real bother. I did like how as you progress through the loop the clickable text color changes when you hover over it from light blue to pink (note I am using f.lux so it might be some other color than pink and I just can't tell sorry!) helps break up the monotony of the same text repeating.
Fun story, in the end it turns out there was nothing. who would've thought.
Nice twist on the theme, minimalist but quite fun to play!
Very minimalistic, but hey you used your skills and time, participated and delivered. For me always counts. Enjoyed playing, kind of enjoyed the HTML visited-anchor highlighting to have a sneak look under the hood to avoid places I've been already in.
That's a great use of the theme. Made me chuckle too, and is even, almost poignant in a sense.
Wow, thanks everyone for all the kind comments! =D really appreciate you all checking it out.
Really enjoyed it! Actually made a similar thing for a school project. Was the software called `twine 2`?
Hi @hiveminds thank you! and yes I did write it in Twine.
@adliberum Great use of the software really awesome :v:
You did the theme perfectly :)
Thanks @barrier  really appreciate it everyone, was a fun little piece to write.
A minimalistic game which fits the theme great. Really enjoyed playing it!
Neat. I think it's very easy for people to skim over the text in games like these and just go straight for the links. Maybe incrementally showing the paragraphs/sentences/words would help?
thank you @simxple glad you enjoyed it!
@ssstormy ah yes nice idea, going to have to research whether you can typewrite the passages now!
Ahh! I'm so happy to be playing a twine game, this is my first of the jam! Great job incorporating the theme in this. It's a clever game all around. Great work.
yay @starvingindie, appreciated thank you  twine is such a great tool, even in its default setup. I use it mostly for designing / scripting games, so it was a nice change to use it in a game setting again! For anyone interested my previous Twine game was False Positive, also playable on my itch page

- Disproving the Big Bang theory since 2019
5 Stars all but innovation which I gave 2 stars. It was fun to play! Thanks for the fun experience
Wow thank you @justicepro really appreciate that! and you're welcome.
ps lol @ disapproving the Big Bang, knew I was destined for great things
That was a fun and funny little entry. Good work
Awesome @adamk33n3r thank you. I hadn't actually set out to make it humorous, and it was only when I was playing it back that I realised it had naturally just developed it's own humor.
Cool idea!
Thank you @superlee
Great take on the concept and nice dialogue! I can't for the life of me figure out how to get to the ending, though. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong and tried restarting, but the game just resumes from the same place.
UPD: Never mind, I did find it in the end. It was well-hidden :) Nice little piece!
Glad you found the end in the end @xlomid , and thank you, really appreciate it
You start with nothing and end with nothing - haha this was a fun read, nice work. I came across this because my games link was nothing-2 someone beat me to my super original name haha
Fun little game, Great work!
hah sorry @joellikespigs I must have got in there pretty quick! and thank you!
Thank you @veer, really appreciate it!
Seriously, entering #LDJAM again (after so long) has made my year! Thank you to everyone! Especially as I'd not planned on entering till I was hit by a random stroke of inspiration following a tweet recommending people to enter as part of a #30daydev challenge I'd set.
this was very simple and fun. It made me laugh. Good job!
Thank you @autumn-schutt so pleased to hear!
Really is nothing...
How do I end???!!!
@sillyman987 clue: the links turn a different color for the ones you've visited :)
Cool minimalist idea, really well written.
Fun little text adventure, not a lot of options per se but an interesting exploration of the theme.

I actually like this ... a minimal soundtrack would fit real nice to this perhaps
thank you @bocodillo, @brokenmirrormedia and @velvetlobster really appreciate you playing it!
Can't add anything that others haven't said already. Nice piece!
Wow thanks @apace, too kind!
I have nothing to say about this game.
hah thanks @hcursino
Very well written! I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/VLDt7yHE5-M
Thank you @jupiter-hadley! Appreciate it. Was so great to see you play through it also!
Incredible idea! Genial really, pretty simple, totally part of the theme and fun, just what we need
@mimi522 wow that's so nice of you to say! Glad you enjoyed it! :hugging:
Good writing. I wanted to leave feedback but I guess everybody already mentioned sound. It could really play a big role in setting the mood and conveying the story. Small text animations and variations in background could help too.
Thank you @marcin-j , really appreciate the feedback  my primary aim was to ensure I completed the entry and didn't fall foul of the dangers of jam crunch, so I went 100% minimal for this reason, just so happens it worked out well and actually inadvertently fit the theme better. I might well revise it and add some subtle touches but if I did it would be mostly to enhance the story.
This was a fun game, I enjoyed the text based adventure. I think if the game was a little longer and as some above mentioned sound would be nice.
thanks @christopher-wong =D appreciate your thoughts
The game was pleasant. Of course it fit the theme, but what kept me responding was the hope that "something" would eventually happen. I did finally reach the end of the game. Good job! :)
Neat. Kind of short, but gets its point across.
I wish it had more options because I didn't actually want to leave! It was so fun to play, nice writing here :) good job!
congrats at @almighty-games and thank you! thank you also @nerdysl0th!
@yomissmar me too! Thank you, means alot!
Nice theme-related game) I think you can add more chooses. They can lead to similar pages, put force player to read and make decisions
Kept me clicking, it was oddly satisfying with the transitions.
Thank you @captandrey and @sleepystudios =D
Well the text was interesting ! I liked it.
what an awesome little text game! short, but very entertaining.
thank you so much @harksa and @6smith, glad it left a good impression =D
