Couldnt speak to the guy on the platform after I pushed a feather over there
I'm not really able to figure out what I'm suppoed to do. I think it's just a me thing though. Looks like a really promising game witha cute aesthetic and interesting story. I've never seen anything like it before, which is really good.
@rustywolf perhaps you need to speak to someone else about the feather
edit - just realised you might have meant the feather is blocking you from talking to the mole - if that's the case you should be able to grab the feather and pull it off the platform
Thanks for playing!
Very cool game! I finished it. The art is just perfect as well as the interpretation of the theme. The short story was nice as well!
@pastelgames Which part are you stuck on? Glad you love the aesthetic though!
@ausstein thanks for playing!
What a charming little game :) I'm a sucker for games with dynamic music, and having each animal play their own theme and instrument was a really nice touch to the game. But what happens to Mr. Mole? How can he get down from there?
I also found a glitch where, if you push someone over to Mr. Mole's ledge and talk to them while falling too quickly, you'll get stuck repeatedly bounce off it while slowly clipping through it. Also, the background disappeared for a bit, but I don't know what caused it.
@niterich Ah, yes we did find issues with pushing animals on to the ledge but we thought it was pretty funny so we left it in
What _does_ happen to Mr. Mole? O.O
Thanks for playing <3
Cool game, art is really well done.
Loved the graphics art and music!
I loved this, all the puzzles were great and the whole idea just really clicked with me. The art is great too, good job everyone!
Really nice idea and cute graphics. Puzzles were not too hard either. Really nicely done!
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
Really cool concept! Really neat graphics and sound effects.
This game is weird, but the good kind of weird. It's a strange situation and you don't get a lot of context, but still enough so it makes kinda almost a bit of sense. One issue I had, which basically got me softlocked, was that you can drag the mole of the platform, causing him to not be intractable anymore. I feel like the grabbing mechanic as a whole felt a bit clunky. On the other hand, there are some simple, but nice puzzles in this. And both the art and music are very simple, but complex enough to feel complete. Overall a really interesting game.
I posted over on itch.io, but wanna add to the discussion here as well :)
After stupidly not noticing Space key, and trying to push all animals together cause I didn't know what else to do, I finally learnt to play and won. The story gave me a pleasantly creepy Cube / Platform horror feel - at times it felt that there is a sinister end in sight :ghost:
The game is well-polished and makes it exciting to figure out what's going on. My only complaint was that some interactions seemed to assume that I already interacted with someone else before I had done so (don't remember the specifics though :/)
P.S. Oh I only just noticed the pun in the game name :joy:
A game that engaged me VERY quickly, one of the best in medias res intros I've seen in a game haha. The concept was just great and there aren't many falling loop games this jam with a story (though I did find one other one).
At first I thought the game was strictly a falling simulator where you talk to people in the right order, but I'm really glad you threw in some falling velocity puzzles such as getting the right speed to handle the platform and lever.
This is a really cohesive experience. The art and music all add to the whole concept and even subtle touches like the metal UI were put in there. Really great job :)
