LD27 — 10 Seconds

Nigeria: Live Fast Die Young by TheDreik 2013-08-26T04:30:00

Hmm, I like the idea, but I somehow got stuck in a forging -> escape -> hospital-loop which send me to very, very negative money very soon. I'm not sure why my guy kept escaping from the police just after getting out of hospital, but overall, I couldn't get any money :/

Overall though, I like the idea you were going for.

Ten 10-Second Seconds by Chrixeleon 2013-08-26T17:29:00

I like it. There is very little perception of progress though. I suppose the bar on top is the overall progress? It would be nice if this was a bit clearer.

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-26T18:03:00

Well done, I like including the theme in the music. I'm just not sure if it's beatable, if it is, it's very, very close or I'm missing a mechanic. Also I didn't find the small size to be a big problem, you used nice contrast in the game, so everything was easy to see :)

Stellar Countdown by Khopa 2013-08-26T17:59:00

Indeed an interesting take on the the theme. I just feel like a smaller game area would have benefit the game (or more enemies) because the space just feels so empty and boring.

Its always red by Szedouu 2013-08-27T16:32:00

Overall, good effort. Really could use some more levels where bombs get more components, and you have to tease the components apart or something along these lines :)

Fireworks by Schulles 2013-08-26T17:54:00

Very nice. It becomes a bit repetetive and my x-mashing-finger starts to hurt, but overall, very well done.

Under Water by Orava 2013-08-26T04:35:00

Well done.

It is noticeable though that you ran out of time, for one, it is very hard to move around (the air lasts for 1/3 of a screen, because shaking the plants takes so long) and there's not much to do (or I didn't find it due to problem 1).

Micro Management Simulator 2013 by daOyster 2013-08-27T16:35:00

Well done. I'm not entirely sure what to say, it probably would have been nice if the difficulty scaled up slowly, so you start with just a few seconds and then more and more come around.

10 Second Destruction by Integershift 2013-08-29T17:59:00

The lack of scoring really hurts, since there is very little reward for clicking around that way. Beyond that, well done.

ROBO-TIC by Omar_q8 2013-08-26T04:22:00

Well done, thi sis a rather interesting take on the timelimit - just run out, you got spares. Sometimes the platform detection is a bit wonkey though.

How works on russian post by mnill 2013-08-26T18:19:00

Neat idea, I like the details. I just dislike how I can't nudge a package over to the side.

Party Time by JayProg 2013-08-26T18:11:00

Dat mouse sensitivity. Beyond that, well done, I liked the mini-puzzle to figure out what goes where. It would have been nice if finishing the game was a little bit simpler, because the combination of very high difficulty and controls feeling a little bit inprecise was somewhat frustrating.

Summer Death Olympics by bufbot 2013-08-26T04:20:00

The single player experience is indeed rather limited, and I'm a bit confused why there is such a slowdown (for me) in the middle of the race.

But overall, well done.

10 Sec Hero by StabAlarash 2013-08-26T18:17:00

Very nice game, though the 10 second constraint feels kinda tacked on. Though, the biggest thing lacking is more levels and more loot :)

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Crabby Puzzles by Verrazano 2015-12-14T07:14:00

Really enjoyable overall :)

After the first few levels, I feared this might devolve into just running from enemies, because some games like this do... but it didn't :) The last puzzle was a bit confusing at first because I couldn't see the yellow line on the white background, but once I had that it was easy. Great job.

Harvest by rxi 2015-12-15T09:30:00

Great concept :) As others said, a little time before starving would be great so I have time to grasp the controls initially, and the ability to resize everything to be a bit bigger would be nice.

But overall, good job.

Ministry of Growth and Information by ashdnazg 2015-12-15T10:26:00

Great idea. I love the voice acting, haha :)

Sheep Escape by d_0o_d 2015-12-14T07:43:00

Hmm, I cannot run this program on Win10.

Scanned it, didn't find any known malware, but after I run it, the folder just goes into an infinite loading circle, the executable spawns 4 unkillable processes and doesn't do anything else. After that I'm forced to reboot. Sad day.

If I can do something to troubleshoot this, let me know.

Sheep Escape by d_0o_d 2015-12-14T08:56:00

Ok, I got it to work. apparently some protection mechanism is way too zeleaous for it's own good and block io.

Growing Ties by drludos 2015-12-15T10:29:00

Good job on making some non-intrusive use of two button controls :)

Isle of Plenty by doitle 2015-12-14T09:36:00

Hmm, judging from the source, I can't see a way farms are created. But it's still fun to build houses and watch everyone starve, haha.

Wizard and The Sun by HolyBlackCat 2015-12-14T11:21:00

Man, that tower climb just before the surface cutscene is brutal. took me like half an hour to do that!

But overall, very impressive work :) I really love the little cutscenes, fitting right with the music.

Potatiana Jones by Ildfuglen 2015-12-16T07:35:00

Ok, I enjoyed that. Overall, the puzzles were simple and rewarding, and even the chase sequences with those boulders weren't as annoying as I feared they would be. Only the last levle took a couple of tries to hit the thing just out of the screen :)

SpaceHex by Sheepolution 2015-12-15T09:21:00

Hmm, I love the idea and where this could be going and this could turn out to be an amazing game.

Sadly, the current balancing just doesn't seem beatable for me. In pretty much all configurations, there are spots where attackers can outrange my one affordable weapon, and even if that doesn't happen, theres a good chance that 3 attackers just snipe a room instantly and it's way too expensive to repair it. Maybe I'm missing something here?

GMO Overgrowth by Gyfis 2015-12-14T09:47:00

Yeah, Auto-Shotgun, haha :) And then I dashed into a wall and died xP. Awesome fun.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Tetropolis by Josh Riley 2016-04-30T13:39:00

Well done. I enjoyed this. I'm not entirely sure, but sometimes, zones didn't entirely form. I guess some kind of overlay might have helped to make it easier to see what kinda zone I'm forming?

LD36 — Ancient Technology

Kukulkan's Phantom by CMangas 2016-08-30T18:19:00

Ok I am impressed by the amount of content you managed to put into this. Sure, graphics are simple and all that, but that was a lot of content in there.

I might've moved the solution to the 9 tile puzzle a bit, because I just didn't connect the hint before the gate 1, with the puzzle behind gate 1. Beyond that, this was really engaging and fun to play.

Ancient Island Simulator 2016 by TeslaCools 2016-08-30T08:15:00

Well done. I like the concept. I'd really want some main-screen display of my resources at the very least, so I don't have to click on the shrine all the time to see if I can do something ;)

Lost Orion by Sri Harsha Chilakapati 2016-08-30T15:54:00

Roomba in Space! Yeah! This was a few minutes of mindless fun :)

Something that threw me off - you're talking about 12 boxes, but after 5, the game ends. I suppose you ran out of time with more levels, that's fine. Just adjust your story accordingly ;)

Plus, I got a bit disheartened with the maze-like level 5, where I got stuck in a position with the dust coming right for me. After that, I restarted on level 1 - and given that I assumed there'd be 12 levels, I was like "Oh... really?". You might try to restart on the same level, imo. Makes it less frustrating on the player :)

Strange Machines by eskivor 2016-09-01T14:25:00

Heh, this was fun. Not hard - mostly flick the button and mess with a slider 'till it works - but still. Well-done :)

To improve this, you might want to add some sound effect like an electrical buzzing in there which gets louder as you increase the level of green, and generally some sound-effects for the buttons and such.

Crabtastrophy by Tortoise 2016-09-01T14:16:00

This was short and enjoyable, though I could just ignore the crabs and just walk around them :) Some sounds would have been nice, but time is time.

Archeotech Digger by udo 2016-09-01T14:11:00

hmm, how far can I play this? I have extractors, generators, a fabricator, and it seems like that's it?

Overall, the style is really need, with the retro interface and the message. Would love if there's more happening in this game :)

red spade ♠ by Wan 2016-09-04T15:22:00

Hah, playing the full version was nice. :)

The ending was a bit weird, because everything just disappeared without any further feedback. But still, I really enjoyed this.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Ghosts in Limbo by tetha 2020-10-05T19:17:32Z

Ah, yes. I did not catch that on sunday evening :)

the intended solution would be to put the cat/demon memory behind the ghost, so the ghost passes the heart junction first, then goes into the left loop, then picks up the cat/demon memory, goes through the right loop and takes both heart junctions. Cheers!

Hang on, Bill! by zanzavar 2020-10-21T17:17:15Z

that was a really fun puzzler. at times, it was a bir hard to see what was interacteable, but besides that, very nice.

Stormy Delivery by Matterox 2020-10-11T07:47:15Z

3 deliveries, haha. Those whirlpools kinda feel too strong, so you have to channel your inner kerbal space engineer to slingshot through those whirlpools. Once you have that, its pretty doable.

Overall, a tun little demo. Well done.

The Elder Ruins by amkingTRP 2020-10-05T16:22:09Z

A kingdom for rapid fire my finger hurts now. But overall, I liked it. The beginning was some nice and simple teaching by playing and example, and some of the later levels had clever puzzles based on the mechanics. Very nice.

Stuck in An Egg by Demuss 2020-10-18T09:20:01Z

Oh this is such a lovely nonsense puzzler, I love it. Haha.

Altered Nexus by clemonades 2020-10-05T15:25:04Z

Gah, some of these levels were mean. Sometimes you sit there and wonder if that spike will miss you and by the time you realize it wont.. there is no escape. Great fun overall.

The Same Odyssey in Space by pedrohph 2020-10-05T18:05:38Z

It took me a few tries to figure out that I have to button-mash at 2 points, that was not too obvious. Or I missend the hint. But I really liked how the iayout seems to be randomized, or do I go nuts here?

Milk Store by Dinoraz 2020-10-11T08:03:38Z

This was nice and cute to play. I think the biggest problem was the lack of an indication of the varieties. It's all too easy to run the game 5 times, get the buggy and quit. A simple counter like "Levels 1/3" would help a ton.

Ive gotten the buggy time down to 21.35 and I can see a 21.25 or so if I stop bonking ;)

Robot Rescue by Mike Caputo 2020-10-20T16:59:36Z

All in all, nice job. Just add a mute button next time, the sounds had very fluctuating volume for me and that wasnt easy on the ears to say the least. but besides that, simple and solid gameplay.
