LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Bunny Bunny Dig Dig by ZakAmana 2021-04-27T02:20:08Z

This game is fantastic! Honestly so impressed. The _only_ suggestion is a pause mechanic and the music could be a bit less repetitive. I would have loved to keep the music on especially with it being timed to the digging _(nice touch)_ but it was a bit too much of the same for me. Regardless, wonderful game!!

Terminal by Squidsheep 2021-04-27T02:55:19Z

Could use a bit more clarifying rules, I only wrapped my head around it after coming here to write a comment. Could make use of a set hand of cards to force the player to move through an obstacle. Had to go back and retry after reading that. Very interesting concept though, enjoyed the play!

Not deepest dungeon by Lichead studio 2021-04-29T01:33:07Z

Nice little game! Actually wanted it to be longer, but I can see that it must have taken time. Graphics are impressive. I agree with the above comment about zooming the camera out just a tad, but it wasn't too much of an issue. As a side note, I would also recommend adding the controls to the itch.io page, I had to come back here to find them. :stuck_out_tongue:

Space Sail Away by carpaccino 2021-04-29T01:15:18Z

Had a lot of fun playing this game, played it to completion too! (first one that I've done so on) I thought the jetpack system of rotating at a certain speed was quite neat, and liked that you went with an abrupt direction change. Initially I thought that was off-putting, but it made navigation _way_ more predictable, so good call. The music was nice too. Simple, which I don't mind at all. I like keeping it playing when possible, and because of the slow and calming nature of it, it didn't _feel_ repetitive to, so I had it on the whole time. Also, nicely done with the ending scene. Wasn't sure what to expect, just thought I'd land on the planet. That was a nice presentation and neat take on ending credits!

Only two constructive criticisms: - If you added a soft starry sky background, it would be easier to tell which direction you're going. - Some kind of hint of where the things are might be nice. It took me a long time to get that last one, and I was driven by frustration as much as desire nearing the end. That being said, was a really nice feel of _"omg yes!"_ when I finally got it.

Overall, __very nice!!__

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

The Extraterrestial Farm Enterprise by Aggrathon 2022-04-09T19:31:29Z

Music is wonderful. I will say the premise and gameplay was very intuitive. The first game I failed measurably, but lasted a long time on the second, even pulled off the victory after 500. Very good game. Only comment is on theme, I was not expecting to be able to win lol. Perhaps an increasing interest rate over time?

Warming up! by notnasiul 2022-04-05T16:07:38Z

Art was beautiful. SFX went very nicely with the mood of the game. Controls were pretty straight forward, got easier when I realized you could double jump. :stuck_out_tongue: Could use some light background music, but over all well done!

Very simple to play but enjoyable. Both to watch and to play. The way you did the graphics was so cool. Couple **minor** things: - you could tweak the clock and sun so they _very rapidly_ move to the next time/position during the move.

... Nope, guess I just had 1 thought. The rest was fantastic. Well done.

Ghost In The Washing Machine by foxxy 2022-04-09T20:34:03Z

AHAHAH Love it! This just made me laugh every step of the way! xD Definitely got dark souls boss vibes walking into that last room. Also the green screen combined with the playstation 1 esk graphics is just hilarious

Run Little Zombie by Tellyhead 2022-04-05T03:08:59Z

Art, style, grim reaper, 3d textures, all VERY good! Game play came quick and easy! One thing that did make it hard was how zoomed in the camera was, as there was no way to know where incoming tombstones were right across a gap, and if you hit them you fell. Even just making it so tombstones would not spawn on the first "row" after a gap would be a great change, and would help with the difficulty balancing.

The Endless Night by Arivenzys 2022-04-09T22:03:20Z

Wow. Just wow. This is just beautiful. Polished. Clean. It's just- wow. I honestly have no constructive criticism. Freakin sell this.

Nelson's Nightmare: Remastered by clemonades 2022-04-05T13:55:54Z

The one thing that caught me is that there are platforms you can't jump to, like in the bottom left corner. If you get stuck down there with enemies coming from the right, you can't get up. Unless there is a double jump or wall jump mechanic I couldn't figure out. Constructive criticism aside: Very neat game, amusing premise, and _beautiful_ art! Gameplay was quick and smooth. Well done!

Highrail to hell by BadPiggy 2022-04-05T03:24:49Z

Okay, very neat game. I will say the difficulty of the door on the one level that requires breaking it down is a bit too high. If that were the second last level, that would be fine. But that was _really_ hard for the first one where you had to break it down. Constructive criticism aside though: ***Loved it!*** The dynamic camera movements and art was just on point! Very engaging game play and mechanics. Also awesome name lol.

Reaching Home by Martta 2022-04-05T16:32:34Z

Very neat! Interesting approach making the fire not kill you but just act as a barrier, that was unexpected but ended up working very well with the oxygen issue. Sound effects, interaction, controls, all very nice! The only suggestion I would personally offer is _not_ having it be winnable, and instead have a survival time count up. To be clear, I only suggest this because of the theme! For a regular game or different theme, this would be amazing. Perhaps having an endless mode or something would allow both. I say this because I was oddly both pleasantly surprised and disappointed when I managed to win on the second play, I was kind of expected some other catastrophic failure when the timer got to 0 because of the theme... All in all though, very well done.

Love the game, simple and easy to play, but very satisfying once you get it! I definitely see the "strength is a double edged sword" by @agrimes! Didn't quite understand, bought it a bunch of times, and watched my ant army wait casually to be "full" as the sand ran out . The colour changing with percentage of sand is a very nice touch!

Jupiter Station - v0.5 by Kyra Sanchez 2022-04-09T19:49:42Z

Very neat game, interesting to play for sure, but one issue is the cards say certain damage would happen but it was different than what actually happened. Ended up killing self when it said it would do 3 damage to station but actually took 15. Generally though very good, just needs polish.
