Really Fun! Great Game.
realy fun, and feels quite polished. i felt abit lost when i were in the 4th circle. any thoughts of adding a "minimap" showing the circle/ring you are in?
Nice work Andrew.
It's not bad, but it could be better. The controls feel sluggish at times, nervous at others, depending on the direction of the ring you're in. No music, no sounds upon death or in menu selections. No button to return to the menu, or to close the game ever (had to Alt+F4 out)! Graphics are minimalistic/futuristic, which could have worked if the rest of the game backed it up, but as is it feels somewhat soulless.
Not very imaginative on the theme, it's very very literally "stuck in a loop". The idea itself is pretty commonly seen in mobile games, like [this one I found on Google Play in two minutes](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.taninty.endlessloop).
Now, I'm very critical, but there's potential. It's a nice game, not glitched out to hell, it just works. There's just a lot to gain from small refinements and digging a bit deeper for ideas next time.
Did 14/18/18/27 for my best times. Nice touch to back them up somewhere so I keep them when I close the game. :)
Given all the circular motion I felt like I would have had an easier time playing this with a controller rather than the 8-way controls given by a keyboard. Fun game though :)
Pretty fun puzzler that requires patience and dexterity. Audio would have been really nice but I understand that music can be really hard to pull together. A little blip when the rings teleported would have been nice too. Good work!
This is a pretty fun game! Reminds me of Super Hexagon a bit. Controls felt a little awkward and not very keyboard friendly (it's probably better controlled via controller, which I don't have). For the green section, since the hazards disappear and reappear, I think it would be nice to have some sort of hint that "the hazard will show up here!" Also, when you lose, the level is reset from the initial state, which makes this a bit easier, since you know how/where to go. Maybe randomize the starting positions?
Overall, a pretty good game that I'd be interested in playing in the future.
Well done ! This is really great !
