Congratulations developers, interesting way to approach the topic, I really enjoyed the game's atmosphere combined very well with the proposal, the graphics and sounds are good too.

I really liked the design of the rooms! The game was engaging, even though you couldnt do much after some time. The theme was also met nicely.

The graphics and ambiance were really excellent. That said, the UI elements for the inventory felt very cheap in comparison to the rest of the game's appealing pixel art style. I enjoyed the early bits but lost interest once I wasn't sure how to continue (I made a protein shake, drank it, watched some TV, then wasn't sure how to leave my apartment!). Overall, great project for a short game jam. I wish I were more of a point-n-click enthusiast to give you a deeper critique :)

Beautiful pixel art. This game reminds me of that old SF classic, Beneath a Steel Sky. Top-notch graphics. It took me a while to figure out how to interact and make the shake, but once I did it was smooth sailing. Interesting ending — a pyrrhic victory.

It's a shame that the phone number are too small and it's difficult to click on it. But the pixel art is great. (I still don't know how to use the bad milk and the sock.) It was short but funny.

Was very sad when i found out I couldn't boot in the bathroom door after upping my strength =( Really nice game though! I love the art style and the concept.

@maxathon yes there are 4 different end dialogs based on your money and strength at the end :D @the-neon-shark yes, you are right... we sadly run out of time. the inventory (graphics and interaction) is very cheap and unpolished @raph-gi you need the bad milk to interact with the neigbor. if you didnt found the bad milk, you will not get a new milk :D the sock is just a "dead" item to waste some space :) @sexganon haha.. some friends test played the game and every single person tried to interact again with the door after they trained

Fun idea for a point and nice click adventure. The graphics looked nice and detailed, I also liked the walk animation and humour in the game. I also was hoping to be able to boot the bathroom door open after drinking the shake and training my strength up lol.

Питер не был нищим. Он был просто безработным. Он снимал самую дешевую комнату в криминальном районе, чтобы меньше платить за аренду. Нет, он не был криминальным авторитетом, он не был сильным или смелым. Он был просто ленивым и немножко глупым. И когда однажды он ввязался в эту историю с тремя долларами, то это его не сильно изменило. Хотя он вспомнил, что у него есть друг, и даже немного стал сильнее. Но он так никогда и не смог открыть ванную комнату.

Nice game it is a pity that it is quite short and there are not much things you can interact with after some time. I also thought that I will be able to open the bathroom door after working out and drinking the protein drink.

Here another person who wants to smash the door! I like how you composed the level and how you guided the player to find the solution, except in finding the phonenumber pieces and the simcard. They are too small and i had to get closer to the screen to see them.

The art is really nice! The story is pretty funny too (and the strength minigame was a cool touch). I do agree with other people that the items were a little too small, maybe you couldve gave them a border or something.

I love your art and mood, the dialogue is a bit lacking, however I acctually played through this entire game! Which is really quite rare for a jam game as they tend to be rather hard. Well Done!

A very interesting game proposal. I liked the mood your game has.

The graphics are very well produced, I believe they are the highlight of your game.

Sound is good too. Very well used.

Gameplay is ok. It's interesting to "run out of time" looking for items that are scattered around the scene. Just as it's fun trying to make a different ending. I liked that you took special care in making different endings.

If you will allow me, I would like to suggest an improvement. Talking about the items in the scenario, most of them are barely noticeable, so I think maybe you could make them bigger (especially the notes), or else with some visual indication that it's possible to pick them up. I understand that maybe the fact that the items are almost hidden is part of the proposal to look into all the details (especially minimal) in order to progress in the game, but I believe that some players may not be able to fully enjoy their game because of this detail . So I think that if you somehow manage to "improve the perception" of the items in the scenario, your game will get even better.

I also saw some bugs, which I think are normal in gamejam.

Finally, in terms of curiosity, I would like to ask you a few things about the game:

Is there any function for the "Dirty Sock" item? Is there any way to open the Bathdoor? How many endings does the game have? (I managed to do 3 different endings).

And to finish, I would like to say that the game you guys made is a good interpretation of the theme and I had a lot of fun with it. Good job

@vphyre thanks for your very detailed comment. Firstly we wanted to create more Items, but we run out of time so we decided to make the notes smaller. So you didnt find anything in some seconds :) But yea... some more visual feedback would have been nice.

The dirty sock was just a "dead" item. You cant do anything with it. We wanted to make more items and some shouldnt have any behaviour. Main focus was just to combine items instead of search items. But as i said, we run out of time :D

No you cant open the Bathdoor. But i liked how 90% of the players tried it again after the training :D.

There are 4 different endings (end dialogs). (no money, no strength / no money, strength / money, no strength / money, strength)

I don't have the best English either, because I'm not a native of the English language. But, the most important thing we are already doing, which is trying to improve while practicing writing in English.

Really fun game! I really enjoyed the poor but strong ending :) and I wish the notes were just a little bit easier to click.

I gotta ask one thing. Why did he lock the bathroom door from the outside? Unless of course, it was actually locked from the inside, 2 years ago... Maybe that's what made him unstable...

Love the game art style although I couldn't figure out how to complete it with a good ending and only got the ending when a dude beat himself :D It was really fun though!
