The art is really nice, the mood is very calm and I appreciate translation in English, although it's very inconsistent and it seems like the dialogue lines were literally machine translated. Other than that really good game!
Hello, I love the game, it has a really nice music in it, it kinda reminded me of megalovania. Although it's lot of fun, there are some minor improvements that would be nice: the screen shake was kinda too much for me and was making me a little nauseas, the UI for how many bullets wasn't showing on the screen and I didn't know when will my bullets run out. Everything else in the game was ton of fun, love it!
The game looks really awesome, very original idea and the soundtrack is very atmospheric. Although I know it's meditative game I'd add a bit more gameplay and some kind of ending anyways, other than that, I love it!
This game is really good, I mean I was very annoyed by the don't miss and switch between weapons part of the game and I simply couldn't make it past this levels, but the music, art and a theme were fitting so good, well done!
Really liked the art, and SFXs! The story was a bit short, and I would love to see some enemies.
It's really rare to see a game with a full on voice over narrator, really like your approach! I like the fact you've even added the hints in the game :). Although I'd change the door's SFX or may be add some more door SFXs since it's literally the only thing that you can interact with throughout the game
Generally a pretty solid game, although I'd add some lighting to the main character so that it's a bit easier to navigate throughout some dark places
I hate to say this, but I love the game. It took me way too long to complete the last level, mb adding some kind of more hints if you stuck in one place or helping player would make it more pleasant experience :D Screenshot 2021-05-04 134041.png
It's an amazing game! I love everything about it, art, music, animation, timings, controls, the game is just a ready to publish product right there, love it!
Sweet little game, really would love to see more enemy types and some kind of waves counter to see my progress, also not sure where to spend the coins and the brew mechanic got me confused, what are the posions that we brew? @curtis-pelissier thank you for the feedback, we have experienced a major critical bug with null refs that was causing audio to not play, we have fixed it right away so that you can experience nice sounds and music in the game. We have been indeed inspired by the downfall ;). Yes, the fact the player is bigger than 1 block in height was a compromise for the player to be able to see nicely drawn character, but indeed it was supposed to be 1 block in height initially. @drunk-wizard thank you for your feedback, I agree that the narrative part is a weak part of our game since we were concentrating mostly on improving the gameplay, also we will consider adding descriptions for objects that you pick up in future post game jam builds :)
Graphics, polished gameplay, nice music, I love it!
Nice little tower defense, although the slimes are not following the light green paths and instead are going through the outside territory which feels like cheating to me and kinda removing the whole point of walls other then that, well done and feels quite polished!
It's really crazy how many details you've put in the game! Nice submission!
Love the game art style although I couldn't figure out how to complete it with a good ending and only got the ending when a dude beat himself :D It was really fun though!
Nice entry, although I didn't find it's not very intuitive how the throwing potions mechanics work, also it's very hard to figure out which things to mix together to get what you need, I'd make sure that the available items have some distinct colors or something that says that if you add them in your potion it will make it give damage / heal. Other than that, really nice work! Love the art too :)
